Well, good news, but I'm still not updating until they fix the aggressive sims. I work too hard to have my sims have good relationships with each other to risk losing them over a stupid bug.

And there is another issue as well. The relationship friends cheat no longer works so you can't boost their relationship back up.

Good fixes, but the mean/overly aggressive sims bug is a really bad bug that takes the enjoyment out of the game.

I play my one household with autonomy off the majority of the time so I haven't experienced the mean sims bug. Might turn it on and see if any chaos occurs. UI Cheats should restore relationships if it happens.

What about the things not considered bugs? The repulsive phone use and constant phone checking?

They didn’t list all the bugs fixed. It says “with a few bug fixes including”. They only named a couple of fixes

I don’t think they’re going to “fix” things that are intended and aren’t bugs. Those are ‘we heard your feedback and in the future we’re going to...’ announcements. Patches like this are more for things they didn’t intend.

Both of these are issues I’ve seen, one of my sims plays with her phone color literally everytime I go to her 😁. But understandably most people are waiting on the angry sims fix.

Those high priority ones like same toddlers, angry sims and wants and fears just probably aren’t the easy fix these ones are. Hope they are also still looking at the gardening bug.

I'm glad for getting bug fixes, but I do hope it's not harmful to mods. This will totally up-end my game.

Yes please. I hope this gets removed again or we get an option to turn it off. It is so sad to constantly see my sims checking their phone because they are not interested in their life and what is happening around them. I hate to see my sims constantly checking their phone during conversations, that is just being rude to the sims they are talking to. Unfortunately it seems that this is intended and we are supposed to like the entire sims population being interested in nothing but their phones.
please sims team, remove this phone obsession or give us a way to turn it off.

They should make it a trait. I know lots of people just like this. But it’s not what you want for all of the sims 😂

It's certainly one of the more annoying bugs, since it affects multiple sims in one go. The excessive phone use bug was annoying, but at least it didn't send relationships into the toilet. I have certainly played a lot less since the last patch came out.

I found a mod that disabled it from Bienchen. Honestly my game is fun to play again! But I shouldn't have to turn to mods all the time.
For some people (like me) seeing constant unnecessary animations drives me nuts. Same with some of the autonomous behavior such as going to computer all the time. Or play games on the phone. It's not healthy behavior IRL and should not be implemented in a game that most people use to escape the real world.
I really hate to sound so negative but the amount of "realism" that's being put in to the Sims 4 is taking away from the fun.

There's the technophobe lifestyle, it could be added to this. My sim accidentally got this lifestyle cause she was trying to make money programming and it would make so much more sense if the constant phone checking and game playing would be a side effect of this lifestyle.

@GalacticGal it says it’s a small update, so I’m not sure what sort of effect it’ll have on mods. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Okay, but are they gonna finally fix the 'Bust The Dust' issue? That kit is literally completely useless right now because it's 101% broken! Dust no longer accumulates at all, which makes having a vacuum pointless... $5 was literally wasted.

This is a small patch so it probably won't break mods or cc. I expect a bigger patch later this month.

Uhm, do you mean this cheat: modifyrelationship <Sim1> <Sim2> 100 LTR_Friendship_Main
I use it frequently and I haven't noticed that it's broken. Have to check it once I started my game again.
    When did it break?
Bonxie: Great Skua, stercorarius skua. Meet me on Fair Isle.

The phone color change checking is finally gone! I'm happy that my game camera won't jump around because of this and my rotational play.
