Reading all of you guys talking about candy is making my blood glucose rise. XD
I had a Spooky fougasse, like 5 pieces of meatballs (LOL, gotta get them protein), some pieces of cheddar cheese, fruits and veggies for lunch.
I'm experimenting on my macros and a few weeks ago, I was trying to go low carb (at most 120g of carb) and I was struggling to not go over that. After some testing, I found that my body prefers carbs over higher fat to feel better and lose weight, so I had changed back to a more moderate carb intake.
Today, I decided to lower my fat intake to 40g for the next few days cuz I've been eating too much fast food over the weekend (oops). After calculating my calories for today, I am at 107g of carb but my fat intake is 56g just cuz my mom decided to pack cheese and meatballs in my lunch. 🤣🤣 🤡🤡
Dark Hershey kisses, some dark chocolate gourmet peanut butter cups, handfuls here and there of my own chex mix, and a few of those Pillsbury type crescent rolls rolled up around cheese and pepperoni, baked in the air fryer and dipped in marinara.
I don't always eat like junk, but when I do, I let myself enjoy it.

I wish I had that kinda mentality. 😂
If it helps any, I think about how even if a person denies themselves all indulgences all the time, they still won't live forever (but it may feel like it 😑) and we get bellies and wrinkles anyway, so may as well get smile wrinkles rather than frown ones. 😄
