Yesterday, despite my watching five of my grandchildren for about an hour, I was able to play my game. Yay. I managed (don't know how) to get my students (all five of them) through their second term. They all did well scholastically. Only one hiccup. Joey drew an A in one class, but got A+s in the other three, so that he still ended up with a GPA of A+. No derailment. Smiling so hard my cheeks ache. They registered for that third and final term. I am quite pleased to say I am now right back where I was prior to having to roll back to rid Kayleigh of the Festering Grudge she held against Erik. Phew. Managed to avoid this altogether. I'd do an Irish jig, but I'm afraid I'd hurt myself. Being 67, while I'm glad to be here, is not for the feint of heart, I must say. I'm off to go play my game.
Jenny and Regina got engaged. (There is a potential inheritance involved too, you know the mysterious phone call...)
The ladies seem really happy together and so cutesy whenever they are close.
Today in my game, Erik and Kayleigh along with his brother and sister went to the Prom at Copperdale High. Even though all four of them graduated early, they are still able to attend Prom. (Frankly, Erik has gotten into a lot of trouble for not taking Kayleigh to the prom. This time, he got in trouble for not asking her to the Prom. Poor guy can't win for losing. They got into a heated argument over it, went inside to the prom but separately. Finally, as the prom was drawing to a close, the two found each other in the crowd and settled things between them. They got home in time to watch the countdown to midnight. The next day they all went off to services together. Upon returning to the Dorm, Erik changed quickly. The Starlight Accolades Show was set to begin early this week. 11 AM. While at the Show, Erik had a rather bizarre waking dream. He came 'to', so to speak to realize his name had been called. He won his fifth Best Song for When the Roses Bloom, which he dedicated to Kayleigh, since she was his inspiration.

While playing Rozas household she got a call from her mother that they were thinking about trying for a baby, I like my sims to decide for themselves so I went with that option. Anyway next time I played I had forgotten all about that call until I spotted Clara at the romance festival with a bump.
Switched to their household and sure enough she's in her second trimester with twin boys Connor and Clara already have five kids. The oldest three are young adults and the other two are teens.
@blueybluesky Wow! I didn't know it was possible to become pregnant with more babies than the max household size allows?
Oh wait, never mind, I misread the ages of kids I gather one or more of the young adults has moved out.
The Third and final Term at Uni for my five Sims has gotten off to a roaring start. Erik and Kayleigh are still working out a few differences, as he launches into a movie career. Well, at least right now, it's just bit parts in Big Movies, but he's excited about it. Kayleigh, not so much. As the term unfolds, Erik ages up, followed by Joey and then finally on Thursday, Brianna and Kayleigh age up, too. Just two days left in this Term. Will they all graduate with their sterling GPAs of A+, or will some of them crash and burn?
Okay, yesterday all five of my Sims graduated Britechester-U with GPAs of A+. They had one heck of a Kegger Party, too. They won the coveted Golden Keg right up front. Erik managed to drop Kayleigh while she was in the midst of a Keg-Stand. As for all of the squabbling going on in Wyvern Hall, Aaron asked their parish priest to come bless the Dorm. Seems to have done the trick, at least for now. The engaged couple invited certain siblings to be in their Wedding. Only one refused. Mercedes, who aged to Teen very recently, was offended she was asked to mind the Guest Book, instead of being a Bridesmaid, or even a Junior Bridesmaid. Now, the question remains, will she be a no-show?
Siobhan broke up with the man she was seeing (her sister's ex-husband), because between two very needy toddlers, her career as a lawyer and everyday household chores, she simply had no time or energy left to maintain a romantic relationship. Maybe someday in the future, when the kids leave the house... Untill then, she has decided to take a page out of Morgan's book and just sleep with her male friends whenever she feels lonely.
With the state of their employment in flux, Aaron trying to sort out if he wants to go into Law as he first thought, or if he would really love to return to the Minor League and possibly pick up where he left off, he was quick to accept Erik's invitation to reside with them. Joey had finally decided he wanted to go to Med School, which would keep him out of the work force for quite some time. He offered to "help out around the house." Brianna was engaged, so her stay would be the shortest. Just enough time to get her own wedding planned. Spock, her fiancé just lived down the hill from Erik's "cottage" as he called it. Erik won his Sixth Starlight Accolade for the song he wrote, All Things Worthy. He took Kayleigh out in the late morning/early afternoon on Monday. They stopped at the Lounge in Tartosa to check up on the arrangements being made for their Rehearsal Dinner that evening. All was looking very good, both pleased with how it came together.
However, even though Erik was hoping for some time alone with Kayleigh, he should have known, he's never really allowed to be alone. Beside the shouts of "Erik. Erik, look this way," which he did his best until he realized it wasn't a Paparazzi as the woman grew annoyed with his lack of attention. Holly Alto was the one hollering at him. Seemed she wanted to ask him something and then promptly asked if he would marry her. Erik tried his best to laugh it off, knowing Holly was just being the attention grabber, like normal. He told her no way and proceeded to tell her he was getting married already the next day. "What a Kidder," he said. Kayleigh wasn't at all happy about it. Especially, when a Paparazzi took it to be Breaking News and decided to get ahead of it, asking Erik right in front of his fiancée if Erik had more than one gal on the hook?. The answer, of course, was no. But did the Paparazzi believe him? Did Kayleigh believe him? It was a very chilly ride back to HoB, is all I'm going to say.
That night they had their party. While Kayleigh felt forlorn, since two of her sisters hadn't bothered to show up, and Erik sat at one end of the table enjoying all of the toasts going on until he was very numb emotionally and quite juiced. To the point he made one of his own, denying any wrong doing and that it was all a lie. Not certain if ANYONE believed him or not. Question is, will a wounded Kayleigh go ahead with the wedding the next afternoon, in light of what just came to light? Oh, what a curveball the game threw at me this time.
@GalacticGal That Holly Alto is trouble. In TS3, I had a sim in the singer career doing singing telegrams. He was the flirty type and had dated and dumped a lot of girls, including Miss Alto. His karaoke machine ignited and killed him. Multiple times. I rolled that save back three times before I figured out that Daddy Alto was his mortal enemy and had put a hit on him. I had to move him out of town to keep him alive. I miss that mob boss.
I downloaded a gym from Gallery and took Siobhan there to see if I need to tweak anything. I did not think to check the lot traits before and well, it turned out to be a nudist lot. I would really preferred to not see the old, creepy and extremely fat gym trainer naked. Siobhan, meanwhile, was - unsuccessfully - hit on by her flirty stepbrother (to be fair, they literally met a week before, having never spent any time together) and somehow managed to have a merman accidentally sit on her while sunbathing naked. Traumatizing experiences all around.
