Toddlers used to be able to take food from the tray of their high chair. Surely, they can grab a serving from the dining table, the countertops and many other places as well. However, I just had to exit my game for a moment. Upon powering up again, I checked on all seven of my Sims. Adrian was in the red. No surprise he's a Toddler. When I scroll around to find him, he's standing in front of his high chair, HANGRY, yet there is a perfectly fine bowl of yogurt on the tray. I click on the bowl for him to eat yogurt and for some unknown reason he can't do it. So, I did the only humane thing and dragged the bowl of yogurt to the nearest kitchen countertop. From there he grabbed it and started eating. What is up with that?
I haven't used high chairs in ages, they are hopelessly bugged. I have a "no spoils" mod that keeps food fresh forever and just keep big servings of mac and cheese and PBJ sandwiches on tables/counters in their room and the kitchen so they can help themselves.
Without a high chair on the premises there are no Chicken Nuggets! What kid doesn't like Chicken Nuggets? And some Teens, too. :LOL. I was just surprised that he couldn't take the food from the tray, as done in the past.
As for the highchair I have had them work but they almost always break again if you really want it I would say just have it as decoration. While we wait and see if it gets fixed again.
