Überhood (picture heavy)

I have been working on my custom neighborhood for years and putting in the energy I never had the patience for previously in life when playing the game. I am so happy with my überhood; I just want to show it off, and also see all of your überhoods!
Disclaimer: I have a lot of cc and I won’t be listing all the amazing creators in this post apart from the creators of two custom subhoods that I have because it would just take forever and make up this entire post. Suffice to say they are all absolutely brilliant, and if you see anything in the pictures that you would like to know about just ask me and I will look up the creator and where to get it, or tell you if it’s a lot I actually built myself.
So here we go!
My main hood is called Green Valley. It has mostly residential houses, but it the center it has churches, a graveyard, playground, community gardens, park, and it has a beautiful city hall. Here it is:

I also have three subhoods. One of the is Bluewater Village, but I have remade it almost completely. It’s quite big, and has a beach area with luxury mansions and a beautiful lighthouse restaurant. It has many old styled apartment buildings in another area. It has an industrial area with many shops, restaurants and coffee shops, and it has many many parks. It also has a beautiful castle by the mountains that serves as both a museum and a wedding venue, and is surrounded by an old, preserved village. Here it is:

My third subhood, also downloaded, is Elsewhere by Plasticbox. I absolutely love this one! Being Swedish myself this is just like the west coast of Sweden, where we go every summer. I love this subhood so much: it is so much fun to play! It’s a little fishing village and has a lot of tiny stores, many home businesses and small houses that are so cute:

And then there’s my downtown, that I have filled up with skyscrapers full of apartments. There are also so many hip restaurants, nightclubs and bars. There are also parks and sports facilities, a motel, malls, and so many more things.

And last but not least, my university! I have Sim State University, but I just kept like the core, and basically changed all of the surroundings. It has many different type of dorms, a couple of greek houses, apartments in city row houses, a park, bowling, roller skating, some shopping and a night club.

Thank you so much! It’s been a lot of work to get to a point where I am truly really happy with the whole überhood and only want to add small things but not change anything major. I can’t stress enough that two of the subhoods are downloaded as stated in my post as well, so I can’t take credit for those, other than downloading them and adding them 😂 (making Feverfew into a subhood was a little tricky though because it’s only available as a main hood for download). The rest of them I have done a lot of work on myself though 😁
Yeah I know a lot of people have had issues with windows 10. Fortunately I still have an old stationary computer that is 20 years old (but a lot of parts have been replaced over the years so not really 20 in that sense) with windows 7 on it still so I, knock on wood, don’t have to many issues with my game. I have a more modern laptop for work but pretty sure I could never run it on that one. Good that you’ve got it working though! 😁
Yeah creating your own hood is so much fun and one of many things that makes sims 2 my favourite sims game. If you haven’t checked it out I highly recommend Mootildas lot adjuster mod. It’s my all time favourite mod and such a game changer when it comes to building and creating neighbourhoods. I hadn’t build anything for years but that mod made me start building tons of stuff agaig! Particularly when I found out about stacked lots (here you go, this will blow your mind if you haven’t seen it already: https://threadandsandpaper.dreamwidth.org/5129.html ) I was all over that.
