What Does It Mean, When The Prescott's Move Out of Copperdale?

I enjoy checking on what's going on around the neighborhoods. But I was startled when first my Sim got a notice from Mei Prescott, the Principal at his school, that her family was moving out of Copperdale. She sounded as if she wanted to keep in touch with her Star Student, who in reality is a Global Superstar. This after she gave him a highly public dressing-down over his being two minutes late for this first class.

This was confirmed when I went through the 'news' via the mailbox.

So, it begs the question, what does it mean? Will she no longer be the Principal of Copperdale High? Or that she's just going to commute to work?
If anyone has had this happen in their game, do share what you know.

Please, and thank you, in advance. It's Saturday in my game, so I have a couple of days before I can find out for myself. And, yes, I'm the epitome of impatience.

I just don't want my poor Sim to be broadsided again!

She married Vlad in my game and is living in forgotten hollow, she still shows up every day as the principle and Molly is still in school with my teens.

Thanks. I did notice Molly was at the pre-Prom party my Sim's date threw. And Ms. Prescott was at the Prom, too.

Does anyone know if Ms. Prescott is still the principal if you play her family?

I want to know what happens when you evict them. I kept them in their house but evicted everyone else in Copperdale already. The students Sidney and Savannah still show up even though their family is "Not in world". I think that there's a hidden feature in the game to have maxis premade's assigned to certain worlds.
I'm not sure if Molly has a locker but I think that's basically how certain played students always generate on the lot.

@SnaveXs in Country Living, I evicted the Scotts household but I still see them around town and attending their pub.

Doesn't this happen any time you have an NPC move into the active lot? They lose their jobs?
