Joey was using the bathroom next to his bedroom. So, can anyone tell me why he would cross the long hall to wash his hands in the corner bathroom? Only to return to the first bathroom to brush his teeth? Seems this Teen is a bit confused, no? I can't see it as a routing issue, since this is the first and only time I've caught a Sim doing this.
One question, is the sink in the corner bathroom worth more than the one in the normal one?
Its a known bug that currently pathing to sinks is screwed up and some people speculated that sims always go to the "best" sink no matter where it is.

Now, I'm going to have to check on that. LOL However, this is the first time I've seen a Sim do that. I've been playing in this house/lot, for several RL days, now. I just found it odd.
Still had my game on so I just checked. Both sinks are exactly the same, The Patrician. 120 Simoleons, only.
Well, that's Joey in a nutshell. His two older brothers are making something of themselves, and he's got a ways to go before he can even get started on his dream to become a World Renown Surgeon. LOL If he can't tell one sink from another, best of luck, kiddo!
Sims certainly do some weird stuff. It's part of their charm.
RE: Brushing teeth, I don't understand the desire for a Sim to spit into a sink with a higher monetary value. I would have thought that the distance to the sink was more important.
It’s a new bug. My sims went to used the toilet in one of the school bathrooms, then to the other bathroom to wash her hands, even though there were several sinks in the first bathroom.
I have seen this bug already.
Toilet, used. Good. Sink right next to the toilet. Goes to the other side of the house to wash hands at the kitchen sink. Goes back to the toilet and flushes it. After flushing washes hands at the bathroom sink.
I have a mod from littlemssims that lets me set ownership of things like bathroom sinks.
I started using it because I had several sims that would go out of their way to use things in other sim's bedrooms, different floor bathrooms, and so on.
I would love it if there was a mod that set preference, rather than total ownership. Probably not something Sims 4 can handle though. But something that said "Jose has an 80% chance of using THIS sink..."
I don't use Discord because it doesn't support multiple accounts and I don't need folks at work wondering what I'm doing even on my own time. Until Discord catches up with every single other voice / video conferencing system, I limit where I use it:
I have a mod from littlemssims that lets me set ownership of things
I was using that mod but ended up removing it because of problems. Like couldn't bake a cake for example. Weird, but other things locked out (Greyed out) too. Maybe she has updated it?

I never used that mod, but I was using her 21-day seasons instead of 28 days. Loved it, but it was adversely affecting the Starlight Accolade Show. More often than not, the show wouldn't go on …

But, wouldn't that be a form of spamming?
You just never know with Joey. LOL
