Thank you @luciusstorm! It was driving me nuts seeing notices pop up in the corner of the screen saying you'd posted another Wyrd Girls chapter and I didn't have time to read them. I will get to them tomorrow for sure. I have a part two to get ready!
@mightysprite That's the same house, I've had to do some tweaks for routing and lag issues. It is such a heavily decorated lot that even my gaming computer would lag a bit at certain camera angles. Nothing horrible, but I could see that little stutter and it bugged me. Plus there were decor items getting in the way at times.
Liberty is really smart and perceptive. Matteo and Liberty are as perfect for each other as Londyn and Danielle. The image I had of Matteo in my head when I was creating him is very different from how he actually turned out. I envisioned him and Leonardo being two bros who compared conquests and weren't interested in making a romantic connection with those women. Leonardo turned out like I thought he would. I'm getting the feeling that he's going to drift out of the friend circle, and this new mystery girlfriend may or may not be bad news for him. I'm still deciding how her story arc will play out.

Liberty's day got off to a familiar start, in spite of her functioning on just 3 hours of sleep. Matteo prepared a stack of pancakes for his sweet Lib. They were delicious as always.
With breakfast behind her it's time to face her superiors at work. Liberty hopes they see things her way, that she's done an outstanding job and she's earned a stellar review and a promotion. Matteo gave her a send off it appears.
Liberty's review went even better then she could have imagined. Her superiors were very impressed by her work, she got the promotion! As a sign of their gratitude Liberty also got the rest of the day off. How nice of them, and since her performance review was done first thing in the morning it essentially gave her the day off. Needless to say it was a very happy and very grateful Liberty that came through the door.
Matteo: You're home early!?! Judging by the look on your face I take it the went well? Liberty: It could not possibly go better! My bosses loved my work and I GOT THE PROMOTION!!!
Matteo: Oh my god Lib! That is fantastic! I knew you'd get it, I just knew it!
Matteo: You deserved that promotion. I watch you working your butt off doing research every evening. It's so much fun watching somebody do something they love and having fun while they do it.
Matteo: I am SO proud of you! I am so glad you came into my life. You have been so inspirational, so supportive, kind, caring, and loving. I wouldn't be where I am right now if not for you. For all that you've given me you deserve all the best the world has to give.

When her libido is revved up she can be a bit of an animal. Travis turning out to be a snake set Liberty free. As she said in part one, without him doing what he did and the events that followed she wouldn't be the woman she is now. Or not likely anyway. I am having lots of fun with this new empowered, mature, liberated Liberty.
@GalacticGal I did kind of overdo it a bit.😉 Of course he is her favorite toy and she wouldn't risk breaking him. Liberty takes good care of her toys. That's why she gets to have toys like Matteo. I'm sure she let him off the hook soon after the last shot. I couldn't let that look on her face in the last shot go to waste. You can hear the Rawrrrr!!!
I got to the end, or what I thought was the end of another episode, and I hadn't snuck in one laugh. This is supposed to be a RomCom. I saw I chance to get some laughs with her insatiable appetite for Matteo.
Monday morning arrived, and Liberty is a bit nervous. There was the unfamiliar routine of having to look more put together and professional. All of her adult life she never had to really worry about things like hair and makeup, and what is proper attire for certain situations at work. Her friends were ready and willing to spend their Saturday with Liberty helping her shop for an appropriate wardrobe. Some of the nerves also come from the knowledge that her new role at S.I.M.S. is going to involve a lot more responsibility. After her training is complete, there is the potential for real danger depending on exactly what her role will be. The thought of meeting her new boss, the notorious Shantel Bridges also created some nerves. There are lots of stories about her around S.I.M.S. Headquarters. Some speak of her as an awful dragon lady, someone who is cold, hard, and fearsome. Others speak of her in reverential terms, almost as if she was a stern but caring mother figure. Liberty didn't know which to believe so she was really on edge. Fear not, Matteo to the rescue. With words of encouragement and that comforting way of his, Liberty was eager to get on with things.
Liberty: I'm so nervous I think I'm going to fall apart.
Matteo: You'll be fine Lib. I have all the faith in the world in you. You are the most courageous woman, no, the most courageous person I know. If anybody can handle this, it's you babe. Now go do what you do so well, be yourself!
Soon Liberty arrived at S.I.M.S. HQ, a place low level agents like she used to be, dreamed of one day entering. Liberty was soon a little more at ease after seeing a familiar face, that of Bella Goth. Not that Liberty knew Bella all that well, but well enough to think of her as a friendly face. Bella was there because she had secretly been key to recruiting Liberty to S.I.M.S., and Shantel had asked for her presence. Part of Bella's job is to look for potential recruits within other government agencies.
After escorting Liberty in, Bella steps out while Shantel begins her meeting.

Only those who cross me, cannot follow directions, or try to undermine me. Having looked over your files and having talked to Bella, I see no reason why you would ever meet the Dragon.
Liberty: I'm sorry I just...I'm..it's....I'm really nervous. This is all very overwhelming. Shantel: Understandable Miss Lee, and I would be more concerned if you were nonchalant in this moment. Your nerves show me you grasp the enormity of the situation. They show me you take this seriously.
Shantel: You come highly recommended by Bella Goth. You apparently knew each other back in Willow Springs? Liberty: Willow Creek ma'am, and we knew each other but not very well. Acquaintances would be the best description. Shantel: See Miss Lee, you're already relaxing, you spoke up and corrected my intentional mistake on your hometown. I want the people working with me, those that I trust, to feel at ease in talking with me. I want them to maintain professionalism, but I don't want them scared either. Those I scare are the ones I want scared, and they are not people I want working closely with myself and my handpicked team. You Miss Lee are one of those I have handpicked. I like what I see in your personnel files, your aptitude tests, and what Bella and others have told me about you. I'm not sure yet what role you will fill on my team, but whatever it is I know you will not disappoint me. Liberty: I am honored that you chose me to join your team. I have made it a point to recruit mostly women to staff my team. You may have noticed that quite a few of those who call me Dragon Lady are men. Those that speak highly of me are often women, especially those that have worked with me or for me. We both know there is no job in this field we can't do, just as we know there are many jobs we're not allowed to do because of our gender. Among other more nefarious and disgusting reasons that we are held back. I trust that as another woman of color you know what I mean. I assembled my team for those women who are highly qualified but who have been intentionally passed over. My methodology in assembling my team has ruffled some male plumage. The owners of those feathers look for any mistake my team makes, mostly my female agents. The men get some special blowback because they are seen as weak for willingly working with women, and worse still, for having no objection to answering to female higher-ups. It pains me to say this because it shouldn't be this way, but as one of my agents I'm going to be fair but very tough. Any little mistake we make gets blown up far out of proportion. That is then used as ammunition against us to get our team broken up. I have a growing group of younger higher-ups who are sympathetic to what I'm doing and they run interference for me with the old boys network who would love nothing more then to shut this down and send my ladies back to clerical jobs and me to the unemployment office. This is a fight I won't ever back down from until we are seen and treated as true equals. Until the old boys network is relegated to history's trash pile of worthless things. I will expect weekly updates on her progress and I will likewise expect you to immediately notify me if anything arises that you feel I should know about.
Bella: It will be my honor Director Bridges. I believe you have made a great decision in choosing to bring Agent Lee on board, and that she will make an excellent addition to our team.

Shantel: Do you remember a story about a year-and-a-half ago, two years maybe? A woman named Giulia Gambini? Daughter of a mafia Don, she suddenly went missing? Bella: Yeah I remember that one. Big headlines for a while. Let me guess, she is somehow connected to this problem the SBI has on its hands? Shantel: That's why you've always been my model agent, Bella. You are correct. I know what you're thinking too. What does this have to do with what we do? She wasn't a known terrorist, nor did she have ties to any that we know of. We don't even know if this woman that has suddenly gotten the attention of the SBI is even Giulia Gambini. They seem to think she is. This mystery woman they want our help with goes by the name of Izabella Bernard. Bella: Interesting. If this Izabella really is Giulia Gambini she didn't try very hard on her new name. Both first names are distinctly Italian. I assume you have some photos or something for me to look at?
Shantel: Yes I do. These are the last known photos of Giulia Gambini before her disappearance...
Shantel: These are photos of the mystery girl, Izabella Bernard. She's been spotted recently in San Myshuno and Windenberg.
Bella: You are having me on Shantel? The SBI really thinks Botox Barbie is Giulia Gambini? Shantel: They do. I confess I don't see it either. Bella: You know, the SBI had that big bust the other day. You don't suppose they've been doing special testing on the evidence do you? Shantel: Agent Goth! That will be enough of that kind of talk. Really Bella I thought you had a better sense of humor than that. Bella: Sorry Shantel. If you don't mind I think this would be right up Agent Lee's alley. She is amazing at things like this, digging up information online, and analyzing the heck out of it. I think this would be good training for her. This episode started out to be a small one focused on Liberty and Matteo. It was at first, but two full days and three posts later I'm finally done with this episode. Izabella is going to be a short term storyline, but there's no telling what might come of it, for her boytoy, and our resident playboy Leonardo. I'm not sure what his future in this story is, but this Izabella storyline may have a say in it. Or it may not. She was an unseen random townie who Leonardo had started dating just before Summer broke it off with him. I found it after moving him out as Matteo's roommate and Liberty moving in.
@luciusstorm This thing with Izabella only came about yesterday morning and already I have probably a dozen different ways this could unfold. Then there was Leonardo dropping dead in the backup save while I was trying to film Londyn breaking the news of her upcoming proposal to Liberty and Matteo. I realized after it happened that I was more upset that his dying gave Londyn, Summer, Liberty, and Matteo a heavy sad moodlet then I was over his actual death. He hasn't really been a big part of the story and he hasn't been a very sympathetic character either. I'm really not sure what his future is. This gives me a way to possibly solve that while also giving me some stuff for Liberty to do that adds interesting elements to the story. The biggest thing is to not let this overshadow what the main story is, Londyn, Danielle, Liberty, Matteo, and Summer and their lives.
I've got a good idea of where this Izabella story is going. It will be short lived but set up in a way that if people like her, she can be worked back in.
@DaniRose2143 What an interesting twist you chose for Isabella! I enjoyed this episode very much. Just one tiny critique, if I may. Shantel goes through a very long diatribe about equality with males, then Liberty refers to her as MRS. Bridges. Should be, at the very least Ms. Or better still, Director, as she does later. Only bringing this up, because it pulled me out of the story for a moment. Also, so that you might check yourself in the future. Otherwise, a great installment. I'm waiting for the next one.
@GalacticGal I always welcome critiques of my story. That is a great catch. I just fell into old traps without realizing I had. I will keep that in mind for future episodes where they interact. Maybe Liberty can hurry up and get on a first name basis like Bella.😁

Thanks! I love it because everytime can be something different and it's only limited by my imagination, unlike the acting career. I have been thinking about doing something similar with Danielle and meetings with her publisher and Londyn meeting with her agent.
As you may have seen in the WHIYGT thread I have parents for Londyn. Adding them at this late date was fairly easy. Danielle and the others will be harder, and on that note, I have Danielle's mom created but I'm trying to think up a reason why we're only now meeting her parent(s). Danielle doesn't have an LGBTQ backstory, Londyn is her only lesbian relationship.
Here's a picture of mom. She has the painter extraordinaire aspiration, romantic, creative, and art lover traits. It's easy to see where Danielle gets her creativity, even if it's in a different medium.
It may only be me that worries about these things, but I thought I'd let you all know that when we next meet up with the ladies there may be some changes to how some of the cast look. I ran into some trouble with my game earlier this morning and I'm almost 100% sure the culprit is really old cc. I have some items that I love that I haven't been able to part with that are more than 5 years old. I'm afraid they're going to keep breaking my game so I am going to do a major clean out of my mods folder. I'm going to try to catalog everything the main characters have on, but I can't guarantee that I won't miss something. Anything that is older than 2 years old unless its iconic, like Danielle's black and white dress, will get deleted. The problem was getting to the point this morning I was afraid I had broken my game completely and had lost all my saves.
I'm sure I'm the only one that would be bothered but I didn't want it to come as a shock either.
@DaniRose2143, speaking for myself, I appreciate the heads up. I would, in honesty, probably have accepted it as changes in fashion (I like to go through and update the clothing of my sims from time to time) but it's good to know. I'm personally afraid that my entire game is going to shatter like glass when I finally get around to installing the last update. I seem to be a little too fond of mods.

@luciusstorm Thanks for understanding. I don't think anybody's looks would change to drastically, mostly new accessories and makeup, and one or two outfits. Lucky for me they haven't been on camera with many different looks so I don't have to salvage all of their outfits, just a couple each some of which were already backed up when I went from alpha to maxis match.
@GalacticGal I didn't backup the main save unfortunately but I do have two side saves for times like the proposal where I needed to go back and recreate scenes that happened off camera. They aren't as up to date as the main save, but I haven't accessed them since last weekend either. The problem here I think really was the old cc, the pack and the update were just the final straw. This was going to happen sooner or later as old as some of these files are. I've researched some of them on TSR and they go back to 2014! Some of the creators add things like brackets around their name in the file name which I learned recently also causes issues. It's no wonder my game acts as weird and wonky as it does. I see it as a blessing in disguise. Sure I'd rather be playing with the new pack right now but I dodged a bullet that could have ruined everything.
I have another family done, this time it's Summer's. Meet her mom and dad, Brenna and Ross.
I know this is probably going to sound weird, but....Summer's dad is kinda hot. I might tweak that hairstyle before he makes his debut though. I might try to pull something together for Liberty's parents before I go to bed.

Bella: It will be my honor Director Bridges. I believe you have made a great decision in choosing to bring Agent Lee on board, and that she will make an excellent addition to our team.
Shantel: Before I dismiss you for the day Agent Lee, do you have anything else you'd like to say?
Liberty: As before I am honored Director Bridges that chose to bring into your team, and I'd also like to say thank you to Agent Goth for recommending me.
Bella: It was my honor Libe...Agent Lee. I believe you will make us all proud.
Shantel: If there is nothing else, Agent Lee, you are free to go, and welcome aboard. Agent Goth I would like you to stay for a bit please.
Bella: As you wish Director Bridges.
Shantel: I have something I want you to see. It was forwarded to us by one of our contacts inside the SBI. They have a problem they'd like us to look into.
Bella: What is it Shantel?
Shantel: Do you remember a story about a year-and-a-half ago, two years maybe? A woman named Giulia Gambini? Daughter of a mafia Don, she suddenly went missing?
Bella: Yeah I remember that one. Big headlines for a while. Let me guess, she is somehow connected to this problem the SBI has on its hands?
Shantel: That's why you've always been my model agent, Bella. You are correct. I know what you're thinking too. What does this have to do with what we do? She wasn't a known terrorist, nor did she have ties to any that we know of. We don't even know if this woman that has suddenly gotten the attention of the SBI is even Giulia Gambini. They seem to think she is. This mystery woman they want our help with goes by the name of Izabella Bernard.
Bella: Interesting. If this Izabella really is Giulia Gambini she didn't try very hard on her new name. Both first names are distinctly Italian. I assume you have some photos or something for me to look at?
Shantel: Yes I do. These are the last known photos of Giulia Gambini before her disappearance...
Shantel: These are photos of the mystery girl, Izabella Bernard. She's been spotted recently in San Myshuno and Windenberg.
Bella: You are having me on Shantel? The SBI really thinks Botox Barbie is Giulia Gambini?
Shantel: They do. I confess I don't see it either.
Bella: You know, the SBI had that big bust the other day. You don't suppose they've been doing special testing on the evidence do you?
Shantel: Agent Goth! That will be enough of that kind of talk. Really Bella I thought you had a better sense of humor than that.
Bella: Sorry Shantel. If you don't mind I think this would be right up Agent Lee's alley. She is amazing at things like this, digging up information online, and analyzing the heck out of it. I think this would be good training for her.
Shantel: I trust your judgment Bella, put her on it and report back to me anything she finds. If you have nothing else I think it's time to call it a day.
Bella: I will keep you posted Shantel. See you tomorrow.

Thanks! I love it because everytime can be something different and it's only limited by my imagination, unlike the acting career. I have been thinking about doing something similar with Danielle and meetings with her publisher and Londyn meeting with her agent.
Here's a picture of mom. She has the painter extraordinaire aspiration, romantic, creative, and art lover traits. It's easy to see where Danielle gets her creativity, even if it's in a different medium.
I'm sure I'm the only one that would be bothered but I didn't want it to come as a shock either.

@GalacticGal I didn't backup the main save unfortunately but I do have two side saves for times like the proposal where I needed to go back and recreate scenes that happened off camera. They aren't as up to date as the main save, but I haven't accessed them since last weekend either. The problem here I think really was the old cc, the pack and the update were just the final straw. This was going to happen sooner or later as old as some of these files are. I've researched some of them on TSR and they go back to 2014! Some of the creators add things like brackets around their name in the file name which I learned recently also causes issues. It's no wonder my game acts as weird and wonky as it does. I see it as a blessing in disguise. Sure I'd rather be playing with the new pack right now but I dodged a bullet that could have ruined everything.
I know this is probably going to sound weird, but....Summer's dad is kinda hot. I might tweak that hairstyle before he makes his debut though. I might try to pull something together for Liberty's parents before I go to bed.
