I approve of these suggestions too. I don’t approve of the Nutella toast and other dishes with nuts and/or bananas in them. Because of my allergies.
I do suggest chicken nuggets, though. And I also suggest beef stew, French onion soup, and quesadillas. I have three more suggestions: chicken noodle soup, chicken kebabs and steak kabobs.
Everything y'all said AND chicken tenders, nachos, bangers and mash (especially for Henford!), tinga, garnachas, subs and tortas (so I can have sandwich festival accompanied with the bahn mi) and just a whole Creole/Cajun pack with etouffee, dirty rice, jambalaya, crawfish boil...yes, I'm just hungry.
We have soy and other plants, why can't we make soy milk, tofu, etc? Also want junk food you can cook/deep fry, ie pizza, chicken nuggets w/ chicken meat, fries w/ potatoes, also would be cool to make Philly cheese steak, different flavored ice cream with real ingredients, maybe in CL leave a milk bottle out so you have a milk slushie drink?
Also miss adding random things in waffles. Why can't the vampire add plasma fruit to all their foods?
I want soul food in the game chicken, collard greens, black eyed peas, sweet potatoes. Ham hocks, Spinach, Ribs, Hot Links, Gumbo, Jambalaya.
I didn't even know some of those were soul food but glad to know because you're making my out water and taking me back to my grandmother's dinner table. Except she never served hot links, but my mother used to split those and fry them, and we had them on bread with mustard sometimes, yum!
Blackeyed peas were something we had a lot and my mother loved them, said they were Goodluck at New Year. I only ate them to please her, i didn't really care that much for them but with bacon drippings they were okay.
Southern food does seem lacking on the game like fried chicken is at least as common a food as pizza in the US, and elsewhere. Sweet potato pie might be less well known than pumpkin but it's divine. I know this isn't a cooking simulator game so it can't have all the foods, but remebering childhood foods reminded me of chess pie. Buttermilk chess or lemon chess, I couldn't decide which was better.
Thanks for bringing up all those delicious memories 😋
I kinda wish that certain characters could have preferences in what they cook. I'd like characters of certain ethnicities to cook more food that fits their culture, health-conscious sims to cook healthier meals, vegetarians to only cook vegetarian meals, and stuff like that.
how about adding to the list chinese dish like eggrolls and rice wonton soups to name a few
They have eggrolls at the Spice festival but you have to get lucky to catch it out on the sample table. If you catch it you can learn it though. I'm always up for more Chinese food options. Some Thai food would be great too. Thai curries...mmm...
Why is there no fried chicken in the game? One of the most popular foods in the world, other countries and cultures even have their own versions of it.
In reality though, Idk if they should add much more food. Whenever I click on the fridge or stove and click on the "cook" option, my game already freezes for a few seconds before the cooking menu pops up because of the amount of food that's already on it lol.
I'd like to see an update on the meals served at the pubs in Windenberg (it is supposed to be German, right?):
- Leberknödelsuppe
- Maultaschen with fried onion
- Königsberger Klopse with rice
- pancakes (Reibedatschi) with apple sauce
I'd love to see a singing career in game, EA! You can't let the singing skill go to waste! My TS4 EPs: GTW, GT, CL, C&D, S, GF, IL, DU, EL, SE, CoL, HSY, GrT, HR, FR GPs: OR, SD, DO, V, P, JA, SV, RoM, DHD, MWS
Now that is a fancy breakfast. Breakfast in bed is so passé, or maybe that is for a mermaid. I wish they would bring back the opulent buffet tables, but theme them around different dining experiences, like hotel breakfast, lunch, dinner, fancy dinner party, office party, birthday party, Hawaii party, Chinese, sushi bar, cake or sweets bar, drinks or champagne tower station, baby shower, Halloween, New Years Eve, etc.
I feel we already have much more different food options than in previous iterations of the game. The food menu is still suffering from lag due to that very reason so I honestly would rather have them add something else. I could do with a few kid themed recipes like the ones I had as mods for TS2.
Now now EA, don't be stinking up our lovely lavender bath with your shopping fart. - My TS4 mods - Gallery ID: 83bienchen
It would be great if items like a slow cooker or a rice cooker could be added so that we could have recipes for that. You could have foods like, - Japanese cheesecake (can be made in a rice cooker) - Slow-cooker sausage casserole (Can have a veggie option for this too) - Slow Cook Goat curry - More soups such as oxtail, lentils, coriander and carrot - Slow-braised Korean short rib -Moroccan-style stuffed peppers etc
It would be nice to have more foods from all around the world and have it so they can be altered for vampire, mermaids etc - Shopska Salad - Tarator Soup - Chushka Biurek - Madradjisko - Baklava - Banitsa - Maultaschen - Som Tam - Sticky Mango Rice - Jok - Kuay Teow Neua
I'd like to also see more variety of ice drinks and not just bubble teas. - Iced vietnamese coffee - Iced Mango - Horchata - Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew - Fresh Mint Iced Coffee
Would also be nice to have more veg, herbs and fruit we could grow too to help with ingredients for these
My Sim cooked a fish dinner that started off as salmon while cooking and ended up looking like trout on the plate.
She makes that yum face when fanning the aroma of her steamy food toward her face, even when it's fruit salad! That's a silly animation.
The images and animations are too limited to support a huge addition to the menu but I'd embrace new foods if done right.

We have Horchata, it came with Jungle Adventure.
Other people have mentioned here gumbo, which was either base game or came with Get Outdoors.
Also, lumpia came with City Living.
Y'all have great ideas but...
