@LatinaBunny so far from my own gameplay and talking with others, they don't always despise and fight each other. How much of a negative effect seems to be influenced my mood, moon, and maybe traits

@simgirl1010 Thank you so much for posting that mod from Carl, I'd downloaded all the Maxis trailer sims but some of them are maxed out in skills. For example Lux has 4 personality traits and Wolfie and Claude have a fully maxed skill tree with everything unlocked. So basically they come into the game with nothing left to achieve. This mod should fix that!
Having run out of room in Moonwood mill they've taken up residence in quiet Henford on Bagley. Let's just say it's no longer the peaceful village it used to be. Not a sim or a chicken is safe.

That’s reassuring. I hope that when the relationship does (hopefully quickly!) improve, that it stays improved and doesn’t glitch out and go back to negative after. That would be a pain.
(My irl sibling and I have both have vampires in our sims families, so this forced-upon-us war aspect is kind of a concern for us.)
Do werewolves accidentally break objects more easily that anyone knows of? Had a brand new sink in my home and it broke like the second time it was used and the fridge broke randomly with no rampage as well. If so I’d honestly find that a cool detail but didn’t know if it was just me or intentional.
For those who are worried about the whole Vampires vs Werewolves beef:
This screenshot is from about 20 seconds, and a 4-5 positive social interactions, after a failed 'ask for werewolf sympathy' on a vampire with a subsequent slight drop in friendship (these guys were already established friends prior) & a tense moodlet on the part of the vampire. 20 seconds and a few positive social interactions is all it took to put the vampire in a confident mood & even get a positive sentiment about how much she enjoyed the werewolves' company.
This is a test I ran on a vampire who had a particularly negative reaction to meeting a werewolf. The red bar for them was over three quarters full, and this is what happened when I used to werewolf diplomacy trait. They high fived and the red bar dropped to below half. After that it was only a couple more minutes of friendly interactions before I'd moved them into the 'liked' zone on the green bar.
So do I like the insta!hate between vamps and werewolves? Just personally, no I don't. Is the insta!hate something that is pretty easy to work around? Yeah, actually it is.

I had one of my Sims marry the Grim Reaper & now they have a lot of kids.
@Akl500P I'm not 100% sure but I think they do; I had a similar experience to you where my werewolf sim broke their fridge and kitchen sink a couple times in a row, and I noticed they got a tense moodlet afterwards that said something about not knowing their own strength
OMG!!! How did he create a mooncaster? That looks so cool! Maybe he used the Hybrid Stabilizer mod? Or was there a way to create a hybrid ingame? I have to have one of those!

I was pleasantly surprised how easy it turned out to be to build back towards a neutral or friendly place. It hasn't been that easy in the past from my experience. I don't know what they did to fix that, or what, but it is greatly appreciated.

So there is tension and lowering of the bar, even if the two occults were friends/lovers/etc? Is it the same for family relatives as well?
Also: Does this stay the same if you rotate away from them and then return to that household?
I’m nervous that it will somehow glitch and lower/rubberband the relationship back down (like if the game suddenly remembered the concrete lore of the forced animosity and re-initiate it again).

This pack is amazing. It's one Easter egg after another.
Would any of the cheats help decrease the animosity/conflict issue of the werewolves vs vamps (and other non-weres)?
The weres vs vamps (and whoever else) aspect is the dealbreaker that stops me from buying the pack.

Omg, that’s adorable!!! 🤗 That’s the kind of details I love in the Sims! 😀❤️
Love how they added some little bits of occult hints for younger stages in the pack!
