I love potato salad. π I have a really good from scratch recipe that I only make for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Other times of the year I'll just buy a container from the store and doctor it up.
Hot take: Potato Salad is made with mustard and no raisins.

I love potato salad and I love raisins but not in my potato salad. My Potato salad has mayo, milk, a couple of dabs of mustard, sweet baby pickles and some pickle juice with celery seed and some salt mixed together and poured over the potatoes and diced up eggs...
It's on a long list of things that I don't actually care for, but the extended family always asks me to make because they like my version best (don't ask me how this happened), so when we have big family reunions or tailgate or whatever, I usually scoop some out for myself before I stick it in the fridge, and then never touch it at the actual meal.
(Also, yeah, there's definitely mustard in there. Not even pickle or relish, though, and certainly not fruit. I keep it simple: the good potatoes, the good mayo, a little mustard, and I'm afraid I cannot reveal my herbs/seasoning.)
When I googled it the first thing that came up was a recipie for potato salad with raisins in it!

Juneteenth? Well, well, well. EA misses no opportunity to appease it's base. Which by the way is just about everywhere on the planet. Although seriously appreciated, I wonder if EA did a Cinco de Mayo as well. I'm sure that would have sold a few more games to that base had they done so. No-one would EVER say that EA lacks diversity among it's developers, marketers, or administration. And people wonder why this simple little game is the best/greatest GAME OF ALL TIMES. They havenβt done Cinco de Mayo I donβt think, but they did do Hispanic Heritage Month back in October 2020 when they added a lot of dishes to the barbecues, like Pollo a la Brasa, Elote, Chimis etc.
But yeah, fridges take ages to load all the options now.
And here I got my hopes up for a functional midsummer pole (maypole), pickled herring, snaps and Swedish style strawberry cake with some new holiday traditions added to the mix.
Ahh well, perhaps next year. Maybe when they add that R&B radio station and the dragons.
Still, this looks good. I love more recipes.
