@CelSims@KyreRoen@simgirl1010 Umm, thank you for all the lovely words of support guys. I screwed and left off the 🤣 emoji. I meant that comment to come across as more of a joke at my own expense than it did. Sure I was super embarrassed, but we all screw up and my excitable nature gets the better of me sometimes. I'm used to it. I'm touched that you felt the need to cheer me up, but really I'm fine. I just stepped out to get lunch and while I ate do the stack of updates on my computer that I had been putting off.
@DaniRose2143 I think I understand what you mean. When you open CAS the game generates a random sim and to make a normal sim you can just edit that person into the one you want. But you can't edit them into an occult, you have to create a new occult sim in the household and then delete the random one if you're just trying to make an occult sim.
But I didn't watch the end of the livestream yet because I kind of want the werewolf CAS to be a surprise. Are you saying that they've bypassed this with werewolves?
@Daephene I think I just misunderstood what they said. I was so excited that heard something I wanted to hear instead of what they actually said, if that makes sense.
I wonder if such a pairing gives benefits to the children? Thinking of Elfquest here, where the process was called Recognition. Children born from such a coupling would bypass the genetic lottery and be guaranteed to end up in the upper range of inheritance, often manifesting new or at least rare magic abilities. The downside was that refusing to mate with your Recognized to produce that special cub would made you ill, something that in a hunter-gatherer-tribe could very well lead to death.
I don't like this at all. What if I want one of the packs to be truly evil? The core values should be changeable by the pack leader.
It's somewhat ok for me and other that own Get Clubs, (Sorry forgot the pack name lol), but 'Tell your story' should also apply to wolf packs.
I'm curious what will happen if we have aging on and the pack members who come with the game age and eventually die off. Will the game generate new pack members like it does with sages in RoM? I may have to set the pack leaders to not age, imagining that they have taken on the immortality quality, at least until I have a played Sim leading the packs.
I've been wandering about that as well as Greg. If I'm understanding right, Greg is fully interactable if you build a relationship with him (like celebrities in Get Famous) so like...what happens if your sim has kids with him or he marries them and joins their household? Or if he dies?
He sounds grumpy and full of rage, why would you want him around your sim's house all the time?
There's nothing like making a complete fool out of yourself, and I did a good job of it.🤦🏻♀️
After almost 8 years of content it's difficult to remember all the game content. 🤗
Absolutely! That's the best thing about game forums... After several years of playing each, I'm still learning new things all the time about both TS4 and my other favorite game that make it easier or more fun to play, just from commenting or asking questions on the forum. It's great that we can be a resource for each other and spark each others' creativity, and I'm sure you've done the same for someone else at some point, maybe even without realizing it.
I hope this means they come with some Crumplebottom-style immortality. It would be awful if like, Rory froze to death or Khristofer got electrocuted before you could actually learn the lore.
Hmmm, I'm not really interested in becoming a pack leader, so I hope there's some other way to change how the hangouts look, even if it's with cheats. I love that the hangouts are open world, but it sounds like the downside might be not being able to affect how they look.

Ya. I straight up HATE this. It's so restrictive. A club of werewolves is not the same as a pack of werewolves. All the stories I had planned are now completely scrapped because I'm stuck with preset values.
Happy to hear about Greg! He sounds similar to a "real" NPC. I just want him to feel spacial. Not going around casually chatting and doing basic sim things.
I'm sure they took everything into consideration when they were making the wolf packs so there must be a reason we can't at least change core values. Maybe they just couldn't make it work as intended.
Either way I'm not too fussed. This pack is too awesome to worry about minor details. I'm definitely going to have a pack and a club for two different experiences.

This is definitely the biggest disappointment for me. Don't get me wrong, still super stoked for the game, but now I'm just curious as to why? Besides "we wanted our packs to be the only ones"? I originally thought maybe the "pack panel" (for lack of better phrasing) was inaccessible, but if you can tweak things as an Alpha, I'm not sure why we couldn't have access to said "pack panel." There's a lot we still haven't experimented with, so maybe some gameplay would be able to make it more clear as to why we can't make packs. I thought there were more technical aspects to the reasoning, but I suppose time will tell.
Personally, I think a fair balance would be adding some werewolf-related Club activities (which may already be the case). Even if it's still not quite the same thing, I'm glad that at least it wasn't completely overlooked we might want to make our own packs. But I definitely understand the frustration, especially considering we can't even change the current packs! Even though I never planned to change them, I know there are plenty of players who probably want to. Here's to hoping we'll all be able to find a good middle ground that suits our individual play styles when the game drops!

I think I'm going to enjoy the way they implemented the toggle in this one. Especially if he can get mad and bite people.

Why would you not?!
The Sims 4 hasn't introduced a new musical instrument since 2017

That is very good news!

I want to know so bad what Gregs human form looks like
but also due to the anticipation
I'm afraid I get the " Beauty and the Beast" disappointment all over again
and Greg too, like the Beast in Beauty and the Beast just looks like Jon Bon Jovi in his human form
goodness I'll take anything over that

I think its a grag parody of I kiss a girl and I like it. @Pamtastic72
death by telescope.
awww!
Greg is a feral werewolf in the pack. In regards to Ninja's tweet, it's a parody of Katy Perry's song "I kissed a girl" lol
