    > Make Sims with erratic trait act even more erratic
    > Give spellcasters a magic boost
    > Make surgeries less successful for both vets and doctors
    > Make more all points bulletin or patrolling go intense for detectives
    > Increase hauntedness of haunted residential lots
    > Make the elementals of Sulani appear more
    > Something something moodlet about menstrual cycles and moon blood
    > Fishing or swimming at beaches gives extra moodlet about the high tides. Maybe a chance of under toe?

My idea is that mermaids become even more powerful and all the mermaids like go
    to the beach??? Idk

I would hope the lunar cycle is tied to certain activities.

Right after a full moon, the werewolf may be weak, may want to sleep more, etc.

During a full moon, untrained or pack less werewolves may transform unexpectedly or eat/drink more. They may have more energy.

or maybe be weakened on a new moon

Absolutely give a boost to harvest and gardening!

IRL lunar cycle is followed to know when it is proper time to plant, harvest or prune plants & fields. This might be a cool future

I hope it doesn’t affect gardening. You already can’t grow some things in certain seasons, at least outside. And we get game bugs with gardening so easily, like the dirt pile bug.

That would be really cool if it affected more game play.
I hated zombies in The Sims 3, but I did like the Lunar Cycle and the changes it created.

I don't know if it was me reading more into it, but at one time my sims did seem a bit loony.

Lenny is a werewolf and Xara autonomously started giving him belly rubs.

Zane and Sithia were not romantically involved but they started flirting with each other.

I wouldn't want this going on for the entire day, but perhaps from 9pm to 3am, sims start performing the more amusing actions and socials related to their traits as well as other amusing common socials.

It is confirmed that the lunar cycles will have different effects on different occults. They mentioned werewolves, vampires, spellcasters, mermaids, and aliens.

    My speculations:

    - more alien abductions during a new moon
    - vampires get more powerful during a new moon
    - mermaids get more powerful during a full moon
    - spellcasters get more powerful during a full moon
    - waxing and waning moon cycles will determine if powers are getting stronger or getting weaker depending on each occult's 'powered up' lunar cycle (new moon vs full moon)

Will there be an option to turn off lunar cycles for base game update? 🥺
Now alternating between Sims 2,3 and 4! 😊☕️🌞
