Just as an update: Speculation has now moved away from from a French or French inspired world, but rather now leaning towards an American inspired world that has Scandinavian influence such as Minnesota. Due to the "Take a dip in Lake Lunvik" hint. If not a fully Scandinavian inspired world, anyway.
I have seen that speculation but I don't personally understand it. I get why people feel it may be Scandinavian, but then why wouldn't it just be based on the actual Scandinavian region of the world? It seems like people were initially focused on the Pacific Coast due to lumber mills and the red woods, which made sense, but when the Scandinavian thing popped up it just got mashed into the preexisting speculation of an American environment. But mills aren't American.
I tend to think they are going to be pulling from several places with good werewolf lore and mixing those elements together. If that be the case it would make sense if we see elements from France, through Germany, up into Norway (Basically Western Europe)..

It being called Moonwood Mill is why I think it is based on an English-speaking location. Having a lake with a Norse name rules out UK as probable. US is just a likely place to encounter place names from different parts of the world side by side like that.

I guess I can see why you would be pulled towards that, and maybe that is accurate. But I just keep thinking the last Scandinavian based world they gave us was Aurora Skies in Sims 3. They didn't give that world a Scandinavian name either.
Plus we still don't know Moonwood Mill is the name of the world. It could be a lot, or a neighborhood, or something..

A foggy wooded area in the foggy mountains with a foggy village nearby on the fog laden shore of an alpine lake with rising fog would be cool.
I assisted you with that.

I’m always excited for new worlds, so I don’t mind whatever comes up.
Since werewolves, werecreatures, or shapeshifters can have a human form, I feel that they can live anywhere, so I’m game for whatever new world the pack brings to us, if the pack does come a new world.

Guessing by all the speculation of all the hints recently, I think it will be a secret place maybe not an actual world. Secret World, is my best guess. Could be wrong. As far as the terrain, I would guess very woodsy, if it's not a location to craft things. Like an actual lot/mill.

I seen someone mentioned downtown London vibe like in Underworld. I dont think they would go in this direction but I honestly would love it because I like to play in apartments most. I would really like more apartments especially if they made townhouse apartments.

I don't think it was a joke. There are a lot of people of Scandinavian descent in Minnesota, more than anywhere outside of Scandinavia itself. A lake with a Norse name is something you might find there (they do have over 10k lakes, after all... and lots of forest... and a basketball team named Timberwolves)
My brain jumped straight to the real Hundred Years War. That has nothing to do with this. I jumped the gun, this Hundred Years War is fictional. So it's back to being anywhere.
No biggie. Speculation is part of the fun. I have missed a ton!
Haha. You've got nine pages to catch up on.
Yeah, my eyes popped out of my head. All of that was since this morning too! Lucky for me I had nothing to do this evening, lol.

I love this kind of thing!
Me too. And I actually LOVE decoding messages too. I wish I had caught these hints before they were already decoded so I could have sat and worked them out.
I had wanted to try a few also but apparently as soon as one is posted 1000's of people have already translated it world wide😂😂😂 they are so fast perhaps they translate it BEFORE it's even posted😂

Minnesota. Norway. Please give us a world full of fog that isn't tiny like Forgotten Hollow. That's what I want from Moonwood Mill.
I do like both Minnesota and Norway. Of the two I love Norway most.

I'm not going to presume the reasons for their creative decisions. I am just putting together all the information we have and seeing what seems most likely based on that. The main reason I am leaning towards Minnesota over Norway is the name Moonwood Mill. When they wanted a South Pacific island world, we didn't get Coral Cay or something, we got Sulani. We didn't get Snowy Mountain for Japanese Snowy Escape, we got Mount Komorebi. When they took us to France, it wasn't Golden Fields, it was Champs les Sims.
Probably, with the mill being a sawmill. Guess it will be a slasher movie inspired little "quiet forest town" with no issues near the lake no sir, go take a skinny dip there if you want. The image looks like a bit of a mixed area, but I hope it will be a proper multi-area neighbourhood, at minimum like Selvadorada which has the more town-like area with the market and the more wild area.

Canada is pretty likely, too, for sure.
Looks like there will be a woody area as expected.. Looks a bit industrial? Maybe a pine farm?

Moonwood Mill they gave us that one as the first of the cryptic clues. And yes, as of this morning, werewolves are finally 100 percent confirmed.
