Bust The Dust was actually Kit 1, not 2. Here's the correct order:
1. Bust The Dust
2. Country Kitchen
3. Throwback Fit
4. Courtyard Oasis
5. Industrial Loft
6. Fashion Street
7. Incheon Arrivals
8. Blooming Rooms
9. Modern Menswear
10. Carnaval Streetwear
11. Decor To The Max
12. Little Campers
13. Moonlight Chic
The dual numbers of the kits seem to confirm that stuff packs are officially done, with the smaller and cheaper to produce kits taking their place. An era has ended and cannot help but feel cheated.
What's worrying is there has been 4 iterations and the Sims 4 takes up more than half of that list. However, the Sims 3 had the store and if each set was counted as a 'pack' or 'kit' that list would be 5 times the size lmao
We could count The Sims Medieval: Pirates and Nobles there too as it is a DLC for a spin-off game, thus making werewolves 101st. But nah, it's a spin-off.
One hundred packs? And yet players feel TS4 isn't complete. That seems to be the core problem.
If you diced Sims3 packs into a million tiny pieces, you might have well over 200. Sims 3 packs packed several Sims4 packs into each single pack, whereas sims4 divided everything up to sell in smaller and smaller parcels. They essentially took a Supreme pizza, removed a few toppings entirely, cut it into 12 slices instead of the usual 8, sold them by the slice for about half the pizza, then cut the remaining pieces into many more, much smaller pieces.
Yes, the whole pizza now consists of 64 slices of varying sizes, so if you want the same 2 slice serving you would have had before, you will need one bigger slice plus several more of the tiny ones, each purchased separately. And yes, because it still doesn't have all the toppings the last pizza did, it still seems incomplete.
