It was Origin that the US pack prices went up on.

    Underwhelmed thus far..

They just seem to be spare assets held back from previous packs to make extra cash with, MFP style. It’s like, how thin can they spread new content. Disappointing, but not really a surprise with the way TS4 has been managed.

I see the good side to them, well first of all we dont know how many packs the sims 4 has left, all packs go with a theme and all items and gameplay have to go with that theme, with kits because they are smaller they can add content they cant add through packs because it doesn't go with the theme that's coming next, we can have endless possibilities with this, a sleepwear kit, casino kit, arcade kit, smoothie maker etc

And kits that freshen up things you might have become bored with.

Kits look to me like Stuff Packs split up to wriggle more cash out of us.

I'm fine with the kit concept at the $5 price. If they go up in price, they become less interesting. I don't think I need to buy every kit at all or even right away. Since they only contain a small amount of focused outfits, the question becomes literally, "How many of these objects do I like and would I actually use? Does anything in this make me really want it?" I'm guessing some people will just buy them all to have them. That's their choice, but no, I'll need to like enough of what is in the kit to be interested.

Right now I'm guessing that they are trying to have dedicated audiences for some of the new kits. It may also be a way of selling content at a slightly lower price for some cultures such as Morocco and Mumbai based on recent kits. Anyway, as long as they make other packs, kits are fine. If they want to do a kit sale as well, that's cool with me. Yes, I think they need to add new gameplay as well but kits are better than no content and may be a way to reach players who want to add more in a specific area such as building, fashion or specific objects.

If you want what is in them, get them. If not freely ignore them, in my opinion.

thing is though here in the UK kits are costing us the equivilent of $6.80. £4.99 is a fair chunk of money and knowing that other players are paying substantially less than us (£3.67) leaves a very sour taste in your mouth.

I do like them and I do also like them adding more culture to the game however I hope this isn't going to come out the wrong way, I feel recently it's too much culture being focused to the game, snowy escape, courtyard oasis kit and now theres 2 kits with cultured themed stuff, I feel we need a small break from it, I just want a swimsuit kit or 1950s clothing kit lol

If they were like... 2 USD, I'd say it would be fine, but they're 5 USD so... no.

If they want to add more diversity and culture, I would buy a pack/kit focused on Slavic culture and food.

Other than that, I will not buy any CAS/build kits. I've had Korean street fashion for months now, made by Korean players, in beautiful quality, both alpha and MM. So it's difficult to be excited about the kit which will have ten pieces of clothes and cost 6 EUR.

I would buy a gameplay kit, if it truly added something interesting and wasn't bugged.

We got four Kits in rapid succession. A GP is £18, a Kit is £5.

Sounds to me like the Devs have a quota to meet, what with Kit Packs being new and there not being as many of them.

I want to like them, really, I do.

I like the idea of them, a smaller, more niche way of appealing to as many parts of the community as possible. But, there's a couple of things I don't agree with. The two new kits, for example, making people pay just to see their culture more included in game? Not sure I fully agree with that.

Not 100% on the price either based on the kits we've had so far, but I'm definitely hopeful for improvements on the kit front, I think they have potential, they just need a bit of work.

Not bad but overpriced. The cas and object kits shouldn't be more then £3.99 imo. I can understand £4.99 for gameplay kits but so far we have only had one of those so... I would love more gameplay kits tbh.
