It's been quite a while since I've been simming. I haven't felt well and had sort of a..breakdown but I'm feeling better now and trying to get back to normal. I'm over playing such a large family so I've aged up the Young-Fraunkenstein brothers and have decided to focus on Dana for now. Dana has left his family in Lunar Lakes and time traveled to the distant past for a more adventurous start in life. He's now living in Lucky Palms where he hopes to become a Rock Star. He's also inherited Callum's jacket and seems quite proud to be wearing it.
@Satanu_Reeves Sorry you have been going through a bad time but it's good that you are feeling better now
After a break from simming, I find it easier to start with a small family instead of rushing back into my usual style of playing large families. I remember Callum's jacket! Have fun with Dana and his wish to become a Rock Star
@Mikezumi He's doing very good so far. He's advancing in his career quickly and I'm thinking of expanding the family soon. It's nice to be enjoying the sims again.
This is Coy Clavell. Coy was a criminal but really had to have been the worst one ever. He kept going to jail and all his coworkers hated him. So now he's quit and plays cards for a living. He's actually the breadwinner of the house.
Dana and Coy have good chemistry and quickly fell in love.
In fact they didn't waste much time adding a little punk to the household.
Charlie was born today and I'm so happy with his traits and favorites. He's an Aries, a green thumb, and loves the outdoors. His favorite music is Dark Wave, he loves firecracker tofu, and the color green. I love that plant babies are easy to take care of and can be cured as young as toddler, it's really cute that all they need is attention and sleep. I think he'll be a gardener when he grows up or maybe an angler.
I made a Sim... But, I'm so bored of her! She has no social life! Her job, fun need, and skill learning take up all her life! She can't go out and socialize! >_<
I'm very Psy New Face right now. So... In need... Of Social... And, her social bar was fine!? No, no, no. That's not healthy. She was all alone in life for days straight without loneliness. I can't go back to her, she's torture.
So, I'll eventually be making a new family that IS a family. And, if these next people self-isolate, I'm going to delete them, too. I have zero interest in anti-social sims. I'm civilized, I love socializing. :'(
@HillyBeth Congrats on getting your game running Looking forward to seeing what sim/sims you play with
@Nikkei_Simmer Sorry about your computerless state I can't imagine how I would have coped through this darned pandemic without mine! I hope your financial situation improves so you can get back to River
@Natsu1986 Sims need more/less social interaction depending on their traits. I personally find playing single sims quite boring so maybe you are the same and a family would suit you better. Although my sims do spend time alone they often seek each other out for company. I play with freewill on high and, with a family, there's always something happening in my households.
I'm playing my sims 4 founders(see Avi) in sims 3. They live in Riverview. He's a PI and she's in the Culinary career. Ryan may switch to Law Enforcement though. Pics will come whenever I play long enough to take pics.

I just started a new household a few game days ago:
Mick Kennedy has the traits Slob, Neurotic, Socially Awkward, Genius, and Computer Whiz; his LTW is Scientific Specialist. Frances Marcelino has the traits Flirty, Virtuoso, Irresistible, Inappropriate, and Artistic; her LTW is Master of the Arts. Just started them a few game days ago in Elmira City, which I recently downloaded. At the moment they're at university. They're currently good friends; not sure where that's going to go.
@Nitroglycol Thanks for sharing pics of Mick and Frances Their traits should make for an interesting pairing if you do decide to go that way! I should send more sims to university. I always have fun when I do but tend to only send first generation sims as I get too caught up in the raising of families, getting heirs skilled and ready for their lives, and finding partners for spares so I don't feel bad about letting them loose in town when they are old enough to leave the nest. I know no time elapses for family members left at home but, once I start a family, don't like going back to playing just a single sim for the time it takes to get a degree.

If doing a family I sometimes send the first kid to work until the second is of age and send them both at once. Or I'll get one into a relationship and move the partner into the household and send them together.
@movefan89 Take a screenshot by pressing the C key, or by clicking on the camera button near the bottom of the screen. It’s as simple as that
This won’t capture the HUD, though (that’s the bar on the bottom that shows your Sim’s needs, the buttons for build and buy mode and a bunch of other things). If you want to capture the whole screen, including the HUD, you’ll have to use another software such as Xbox Game Bar. If you’re on Windows 10 or 11, press the Windows key followed by G to bring it up, then click the camera button on the Game Bar to take a shot of the whole screen.
Anyway, to avoid double-posting:
I’ve been wanting to try the acting career from Late Night, as well as the celebrity system and other features from the pack. So, in this save, I’m playing a couple of silver-screen sweethearts who are, in Maxis’ words, “inseparable both on-screen and off”.
The reason I mention Maxis is because, they’re originally from The Sims 4. They appeared in a trailer for the Get Famous pack, and are available to download from the Sims 4 Gallery.
Since I’m not great with coming up with original characters, I decided to just recreate them in my game, with loads of CC and custom sliders, of course their names are Alexandrea Cole and Christian Harp
@TinySpaceFox You did a brilliant job on Alexandrea and Christian! Your TS3 versions are way better looking than their TS4 counterparts!
I think I remember reading in the What's Happening thread that you are now finished with your studies. If this is the case, congrats!
So I'm still playing the same two Sims that I was a month ago, but things have moved along. Most notably, they've gotten married and had a couple of kids:
That's Suzanne to the left of Mick, and Corazon to the right of Frances. As I remarked in another thread, genetics is weird in this game. That was a little while back; they're now teens:
This time it's Corazon on the left and Suzanne on the right. Corazon's traits include Artistic, Virtuoso, Rebellious (hence her changed hairstyle) and Inappropriate, while Suzanne has Brave, Genius, Handy, and Computer Whiz. She also already has selected a LTW - Renaissance Sim.
On the subject of LTWs, Mick and Frances have both gotten theirs. They've also both gotten 3 degrees (Mick's new academic trait is Handy while Frances has Ambitious), age freezing (while still young adults), and a few other lifetime rewards but they both have a surfeit of points right now; I'm trying to decide what to spend them on. Nice problem to have I suppose. Mick is at level 10 of the Science career, Frances is at level 9 of the Music career (rock branch).
They're currently living in this house:
Main floor:
Basement:
Oddly, it's Suzanne who's sleeping in the basement, rather than her rebellious sister.
