My Sims' family home is surrounded by a fence and the gate is locked. Two celebrities reside here. Louise was busy tending the garden (which is a garage turned into a green house, with a glass ceiling). Suddenly a YA Sim by the name of Julia Wright is standing right next to her.

I took a moment to make certain the gate was locked, and it was. There are no other access points. So, how on Earth did she get in? Took me three tries for MCCC to remove her from the premises.

I wish our Sims could call the police. This was a clear case of trespassing.

Celebrity stalkers! I get them too. Still no clue how they get through the locked gate, let alone into the HOUSE which is also locked. *shrug* Starting to think they need to install gun turrets.

Haha, that’s a university student studying physics. Sometimes Sims get in my house even if I lock the front door I think they just walk through walls

Transportalate or magic broom as a spellcaster? Teleportation from the Wellness skill? Mist or Bat form as a Vampire?
Or....Ability-to-walk-through-solid objects as a general skill that all sims seem to possess on and off?

So many ways she could have gotten there.

@Stormkeep All good ideas. Only problem is (sh, I don't have occults in my game. Zip, Nada, None). Even the Obsessed Fans generated via the Road to Fame mod can't just get in. Oh, wait, they did get into my Sims house two iterations ago … Is there no safe sanctuary for the Rich and Famous? What is this world coming to?

@GalacticGal, the Wellness skill gives teleportation and is not an occult.

I don't think non-player controlled sims ever use it autonomously though.

Yes, but you did mention a magic broom, Mist or bat. Yes, some of my Sims can teleport themselves to various places.

Have you tested your fence and gate? I discovered that sims can walk through the fence surrounding the Strangerville secret lab. Maybe some fences available to us have the same weakness.

Now, there's a scary thought! No, the only 'testing' I did was to make certain the gate was locked. I found it odd that I only got her name and age from Louise's perspective. However, Julia was hanging around in the street (they live in Del Sol Valley at the top of the hill which is a cul-de-sac) so the Paparazzi, Obsessed Fans, et al, often just stand in the street. When Erik got back she had the Stan label. She's his Stan.

She traveled upstairs when she was in the house, so I kept the camera on her. Guess I was right. They are said to 'borrow' items as mementos that belong to their celebrity of choice. I made certain she couldn't make off with Erik's awards, of which he has seven at the moment. Two Fan Meet & Greets and one RTF Meet & Greet, plus the four EARNED Best Song Accolades. The boy has worked hard for that. Phew, dodged that phaser blast. They have the old-style fencing. Not quite a worm-fence, but round logs even so. As short as they are, this is the very first time (and I have played this lot for at least the last four iterations of Erik) that any Sim has managed to get into the house when the gate was locked.

I just don't know what to think about that.

She probably walked through the fence, that's fairly usual behavior in the Sims 4.

Come to think about it, I did write up a post two iterations of Erik ago. I ended up having him overreact to the situation wherein he could no longer live in his home and sought to have it torn down and rebuilt. Twice. Yeah, Erik was going over the edge. But then again, the Obsessed Fan(s) left tiered cakes (as always) in his front foyer and then a partial one along with a plate of Ambrosia in the bedroom of his eldest kid who at that time was only a Toddler. Scary stuff. But, the kind of thing that sets one tingling. That story is all down in the Creative Corner. I won't be adding to that until Road to Fame mod has been fixed and updated.
