What has been your favorite travel experience?

Riding a horse in Egypt. It was a perfect memory I'll live into my death with.
    @Sorak4
Wow that sounds so amazing! I have watched some travel videos on youtube of horse riding trips in the desert and they look so incredibly beautiful.

I'm not sure if interesting is the appropriate word, but I've recently learned that beef, lamb, and veal brains contain a lot of cholesterol.

This week I learned all about fog on YouTube after my brother and I drove through some pretty heavy fog on a drive in the country. It was pretty interesting. I thought so anyway lol

    Today's Q Q is:

If your mind were an island, what would it look like?

It probably would look like the Skull Island or something. Dark and gloomy always.

Oh wow. That is a deep question. I feel like I could explain this better if I drew it, but mine would be a mixture of different areas. Some very brightly coloured with lots of vibrant plant life and insects, other areas cracked and rocky with volcanic activity. The volcano itself is usually dormant but has the occasional eruption when the pressure builds up too much.
The whole island would be populated with a variety of unusual and odd looking wildlife, all fighting for domination of island territory, though they usually all calm down after eating.
Oh and there would be caves, lots of underground caves which the surface wildlife sometimes get lost in.

Reading that description, I just want to assure everyone that I am sane and quite placid in real life! 😅

It looks boring but actually interesting. There're many strange creatures. Most of the time it's calm and tranquil, can be earthquake under certain conditions

I don't know. I can't imagine my mind looking like an island.

What would you order at your dream diner?

Fish n chips is divine, gotta admit. Especially with vinegar! Making my mouth water.

I made something kind of like that for dinner: sliced some boneless skinless chicken breast, and battered and fried it in a skillet. It was good. Made me want fish done like that though.

Would you rather live where it only snows or the temperature never falls below 100 degrees?

The hot one. I'm more prepared for that. XD

Snow all the way. Even though things like dry skin and hypothermia can be a problem, it's relatively easier to get warm than to cool down.

Yikes! Snow please. I find 30 degrees too much, let alone 100! Oh wait, are we talking degrees celsius or farenheit?
(Pauses to Google both). I'll still take the snow. I hope you mean farenheit because 100C is the boiling point of water!

    Hard to pick just one.

This one is at least in the top 10: "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor E. Frankl, the father of "Logotherapy' the basic tenet of which is, that those who have a why, will find a way. A Holocaust survivor examines resilience and survival and what separates those who can keep going after horrific trauma and abuse, from those who do not.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy has been a big influence on my writing and sparked my interest in satire, though I was introduced to the radio series first. I particularly like when Douglas Adams takes aspects of society that are mundane or annoying and turns them into whole planets or alien species.

I'd rather lose pictures. I don't have that many anyways. 😂

Depends on how much money, like if we had 100K in savings and stood to lose every dime? No way would I part with that even to save pics. But less than $5K? We can regenerate that fairly quickly, save the pics.

Would you rather have your own way in all things, but be alone the rest of your life, or have a devoted and loving partner to share your life with?

Well, it does say lose all your money so I'm guessing savings count as well. 😢

The second one of course. You didn't explicit say that my partner will object every single thing I wanna do which means I won't have my own way of doing anything. 😂 Which means, there still might be some things I could do on my own while also have a devoted partner.

I wouldn't like to lose either as I have pictures from past projects and exhibitions that I put a lot of time and effort into making. They are insured and I digitally scan all of my work as well, but it would still be a disappointment if someone took the originals (for starters, I'd like to be paid for them!)
Out of necessity though I would have to pick losing these instead of losing my savings.

When this band announced they were doing a cover version of a song for this channel, I was hoping they'd do a Muse song. So glad they did!! Dream come true!

Can we just appreciate these vocals from Jacob? My God.
