I really want a singer career in The Sims 4, and band-forming. A pack evolving around singing, dancing, more musical instruments, and bands would be great. We have singing skill, but we can't be a professional singer? A World for this pack could have an opera house, and various concert halls.
You could also give us a Refresh that gives a voice acting career branch, please.
An internet pack would be cool, greatly adding to what and all our Sims can do online. Online dating. Forums boards that are for more than trolling. MMORPGs they can start relationships of different kinds in, and play together with their loved ones of various kinds. MMORPG dates, and weddings. MMORPG roleplaying. Forum roleplaying. Instant messengers, and roleplaying in them. The RPing could increase writing skill, imagination skill, creativity skill, social skill, charisma skill, acting skill, conflict resolution, emotional control, research & debate skill, etc. Fanfiction writing. Fanart creating. Original art sharing. Original fiction and non-fiction sharing. Blogging. Etc.
A circus, and gymnastics pack would be cool.
A dancing pack would be nice that greatly adds to dancing, such as lots of various kinds of dances.
A martial arts pack that gives various martial arts schools/styles, so you could play a master that masters everything. This pack could give a Chinese World, and could give the acting career option of martial artist acting.

The most likely next Packs besides the announced are: More disabilities & disability benefits to go with it all (one of the staff promised it to the disability community); a pack with the singer career, band creation, and gig doing to make more money than just in the rabbithole career.
I don't know about you... But, my one "alien" species are clearly Gecko youkai, which are kind of dragon youkai. Kind of a let down there's not really aliens, though. Geckos are from Earth.

I'm also wondering about a new EP. It feels like we have so many little packs which add negligible differences to the game, but we're overdue a big pack. I absolutely love Cottage Living but for me that was more GP level, not really a full EP. No new careers or depth of gameplay beyond gardening (again, I love it, but what a missed opportunity to add some kind of extended farming gameplay!)
On the flipside, I was soooo happy and surprised with the Spooky SP and the way that changed my games up. The new wedding pack looks alright - although I am a teeny bit disappointed that it's not Greek inspired like I saw rumoured last week... was looking forward to plate smashing!
If I look at past versions, the parts still missing in TS4 are mostly within the generations/family play, or world adventures space. If it's generations, they have to add more depth!! My sim adopted a kid and she arrived with almost full friendship! It would be way more fun to have to build that trust up and unlock new interactions as relationships grow.
If the devs and designers are listening to the community then it has to be an expanded family play style pack next - hopefully with cars, family-friendly lots (hotels??), extended baby gameplay and all the other stuff people are wanting. Personally babies don't bother me as I age them up quickly anyway, but I do think a lot of the things the community is dissatisfied with could be resolved with a proper, well thought-out EP.
I guarantee we're getting a singing/band pack based on a South Korean city at some point. EA has been trying VERY hard the past few years to follow trends. E.g. we got Snowy Escape close to the Tokyo Olympics and Cottage Living right after Cottagecore was a huge trend. Given how popular K-pop is it would be insane for them not to make some sort of pack centring around it at some point.
I'm still holding out hope for some sort of generations pack that focuses on teenagers and elders (the least fleshed-out life states imo), and some sort of supernatural pack with dragons. I think a high school based pack might also come at some point, which could be inspired by any number of countries.
Aside from me wanting updated babies, I really want a high school pack. Teens feel pretty neglected to me. It’d be awesome to have prom, graduation, sports games, cheerleading, after school clubs/activities, learning how to drive, sneaking out, spin the bottle/7 minutes in heaven, crushes, throwing parties while the ‘rents are out, etc.
I’d also like malls and proper movie theaters. I feel like we need more retail stores/lots. Having stalls just feels sort of cheap to me. We need more community lots, or at least more BB assets to make them. This would tie into the teen gameplay since a lot of teens hang out at malls or theaters, or at least I did!
The banking sector of San Myshuno (the part with the gym) always feels like it's inside a mall. That sort of design and feel could work for an all-commercial neighbourhood.

I thought that too. I, personally, think that the next big thing will be updated babies, like how we got toddlers and a Generations EP following right behind. I would be over the moon happy if this was the case.
I know a lot of people want Generations, but after the wedding pack, I would personally like to see an EP like Freetime or Supernatural (new occult & occult careers).

I don't think that all missing occults should be placed in a Supernatural EP b/c unfortunately I don't think that they would all be properly fleshed out. But, I think it would be a good place to focus on one of the bigger omitted occults (werewolves or fairies), one or two smaller ones (like genies or dragons) that may not rate a full GP, along with new occult careers, & a new spooky world, b/c while l love Forgotten Hollow, it is not nearly big enough. A Supernatural EP could also come with a base game update so that we can finally get proper PlantSims or updated ghosts.
I'm still "not so" patiently waiting for horses to make a return. I don't think an ep would be a good idea though but maybe a gamepack.
Not in a big rush for another expansion but wouldn't be disappointed with a generations type if it meant freeing the babies.

I believe we are actively getting a Generations EP - it’s just being broken down into individual packs now instead of one EP.
Generational play is being provided (albeit slowly and for more money) but we are still getting it. Similar to how occults are being broken down into individual packs (for the most part) instead of one big supernatural EP.
I would like something for teens and/or elders for the next expansion. Babies too, eventually, but I want the others more as they have their own autonomy and the stages are longer.
For teens I'd like something about maturing, both physically though puberty and mentally though self-discovery. It's an age where people gain more autonomy from their parents in regards to the activities they do, people they socialise with and things they believe in. I'd like for them to deal with struggles regarding gender identity, sexual orientation, first forays into romance, conflicting worldviews with peers and parents and finding lifelong friends and hobbies/interests.
For elders, I'd like to split the life stage into two:
Healthy, active Seniors who can retire, take up new hobbies, travel, exercise and woohoo without fatigue, spend time with grandkids and nag single grown kids to settle down and give them grandkids.
Feeble, declining Elders with less energy and increasing health issues who may need extra care on their way out and can time tie up loose ends, bequeath items/money/property and spend their final days doing things they enjoy.
An elders pack could also come alongside a patch for disability aids such as mobility and hearing devices, and assistance animals.
If they come as separate packs, I'm ok with that as it means there will be more content for each.
After the My Wedding Stories, I really hope they focus on refreshing older packs, or base game.
I hope they do both. I want a good EP this year, but also I’d love to see Dine Out and especially Outdoor Retreat refreshed. Granite Falls needs a lake so badly.

Did it come with a heart bed?
Did it come with new romance interactions?
There's a Mariachi Love thing too coming for Sims freeplay so maybe we'll get a Mexican Theme Pack for the wedding/Love Game Pack?
