How Eerie It Is When the Game Mirrors Real Life

This past week, plus two events today, have come so close to stuff in Real Life it's positively eerie. For instance, I have the crew of the Original Star Trek in my game. Not only does my Sim, Erik Cantrell, get a notification that Scotty has passed. But just moments ago he gets the notification that Dr. Leonard McCoy has passed away. In Real Life, for those who don't watch the Original Trek, the actor who portrayed Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott, aka Scotty passed away. A Few years later, the actor for Dr. McCoy passed away. Odd that in my game Scotty and McCoy passed away in the same order. Today, before I lost McCoy, Erik's brother came to call and made a serious pass at Erik's wife. Erik was down at the Recording Studios as the time. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Now, in RL this did NOT happen to me, but my late mother shared with me that my favorite uncle (one of Dad's five brothers) called on her in the middle of the day. She said he always seemed to know when she was baking cookies. Well, my uncle foolishly made a pass at her. A grudge, sadly, she never got over. :open_mouth:

Odd how the game autonomously makes things happen that mirror things in Real Life. (Yes, I do use MCCC, but I never touched the 'cheat' under relationships.)

Feel free to share such moments from your game.

I made a not-so-accurate Sims version of my family, but with my youngest sister especially, her Sim makes facial expressions that are frighteningly spot-on to the expressions she makes irl. For a moment, it looks like she's actually been trapped in TS4.
