I'd like to see new romantic lot types even if we don't get a new world which I doubt we will.
What's a romantic lot type? We have the romantic aura lot trait. Do you want like more lot traits or more venue types? I would like more venues, personally. A movie theater as a date venue would be nice.
Movie theaters,Gardens,A Bed and Breakfast Inn etc. Also romantic lots to make them more romantic needs some heart shaped photo booths,lip sofas,heart arches,heart shaped beds,heart shaped fireplaces and lots of roses.
That's not going to set the mood for me. Looks lumpy.
Maybe I'm just old, but I don't find kitschy stuff like that particularly helpful for a romantic evening, and I love roses. Or maybe it's that I just don't find visuals do much to help me feel romantic, responding better to things like music, scents and textures. I'm also not a fan of the color pink, which is in abundance this time of year.

Sorry but I don't find those kind of furniture romantic but rather cheesey in a highway motel kind of way. I do have a highway motel in my game, so I won't protest a vibrating heart shaped bed though. 🤣

I agree that we could use some furniture that is more decorative than minimalist modern designs. I would love a green and pink velvet couch and armchairs, art deco furniture, gold mirrors and decorations, dark colonial furniture with leather and fur accents and sparkling white bed sheets, even tiki style would be nice and welcome.

Quite possible but unlikely. As of lately they have been cutting major corners on game packs though. Look at Dream Home Decorator. It too was a narrow themed pack. Did they expand on the theme? No, not in the least. They even skimped and cut corners in the extremely limited game play offered. It was also bug filled mess on top of it.
We can't be sure but the last game pack was so lackluster we can't get our hopes up on it containing more gameplay then the name suggests. T
The name (My Wedding Story) suggests it will be the most narrow pack ever with next to no gameplay. It even sounds like a kit name not game pack. Lacking narrow game packs is this games history as of late and to expect more is a good way to be let down. I got my hopes up too often. In fact last game pack didn't even have enough game play to justify a livestream so they skipped it.
I hope I am wrong but history shows I am likely not. Sad thing is I will likely buy it anyway. I love the game and am so desperate for new gameplay I will buy anything offering the tiniest of hope for it. I guess that makes me a fool, but at least I know I am.

I have the attraction system from the ww mod, so I don't need it extra. So slow dancing would be my favorite, with a bonus of child and parent dancing like in sims 3. More variation of bride clothes with the option to choose them by themed. It was kind of frustrating when I wanted to make an tropical island wedding and all I got was the standard wedding clothes. They are nice, no offense, but I was disappointed. Obviously I have never figured out, how to change them in advanced.
You just set up wedding outfits in Formalwear in CAS, and change into the outfits once the event starts. Just remember to remove the outfits after the event, unless you want sims autonomously wearing wedding attire to formal events.
I’m hoping there will be a new wedding category so we can set up our sims outfits and they automatically change into them….. and we can pick the maid of honor/best man outfits, parents, and other guests outfits.
I think several things are important for me for this pack. Among the most important are:
1. An attraction system and new world…. They tie at the top for me
2. New bridal outfits and the trimmings, flowers veils, tiara’s, tuxes, rings, etc., hopefully a new wedding category.
3.,Romance interactions, whether we get them in a free update or in the pack. I want to see slow dancing and other partner dancing. I want to see cuddling in bed and spooning. I want to see a bearskin rug with romantic interactions and whoohoo. I want to see a picnic blanket we can spread out on the ground and have romantic interactions. I want to see sims playing footsies at a restaurants. and cafe etc.
4. New build buy, wedding cakes, choice of some new wedding traditions we can pick. Online dating, and a matchmaker ( city livings doesn’t cut it. ). Wedding showers, bachelor/ bachelorette parties.
5. I would love to have hotels and a casino too…. I hope they don’t forget honeymoons!
I clicked Slow Dancing because I miss that from S2. A new world would be nice, and an attraction system might be fun - or it might drive me nuts. I have zero interest in the Wedding aspect, so I'm going to be waiting a while to buy this one. Unless they suddenly say "Dragons and Werewolves included", of course.
I'm going with wedding planning, but I mean from the point of view of the couple, not a separate career. For me that includes bachelorette parties, attendants, officiants, flower girls/ring bearers, more flower/dress/hair/veils options, and honeymoons. I want to be able to plan all that out and enact it in the game while playing the couple. I might play a career also, and marry off some townies, but I'm only interested if I can also do everything while playing the couple's household, not just the professional planner's.
I picked a new world because since weddings aren't really my thing, a new world is the only thing that would make me interested in a wedding pack. I didn't pick attraction system or online dating (even though I'd love to have both) because they don't really fit a wedding pack and I'd rather have them added to the base game.
Slow dancing and a few more things like table engagement, throwing the bouquet after the wedding, more rings (iirc we are stuck with the same rings since 2014), great veils and wedding dresses and bachelor/ette parties.

So, it's been pretty strongly hinted that we will be getting a wedding pack shortly. Which of course means a ton of different things that we could be getting added to the game. From CAS options, BB options, Gameplay options, there's a lot of things that could come. So I'm curious as to what people are most excited for out of this game pack! Please keep in mind that nothing about the pack has been confirmed, we don't know if anything will or won't be in the pack! It's just some possibilities!
It's hard when you want multiple things from that list. I think that I really want Slow Dancing the most though. I can get by with the CC I have for wedding dresses and the like (although I'd *love* to see more wedding dresses as well as veils, especially long veils.) I also want more parties (such as bachelor/ette parties, but also engagement parties.
People keep talking about an attraction system, but I don't want that to be a key feature of the game pack. That's something I think should be in a free base game update! I just hope they don't go with the "zodiac" system if they do give us an attraction system. They should have any attraction system completely separate from that because the non-Simlishness of "zodiac" symbolism is distracting and people don't boil down to "12 types". People are more individual than that! I also don't like the idea of personalities being "set" by something. It's one of the things I especially disliked about the past Sims use of zodiac attractions. I think that it should use more traits (and include another trait slot) and things like sentiments and like/dislikes.

They might still include it in a basegame update. Then there wouldn't be any reason for them to include it in the "key features" for the game pack.
