Oh, I'm going to have to refer you to the posts I made: page 189, fourth entry entitled Newsflash, and the follow-up on page 190 of the "What Happened In Your Game Today, the Non-Serial Version.
Definitely keep it. I wish we had more scars, including body scars. I keep meaning to make more scarred sims. My recent vampire sim had a scar but in the first instance he died when I took my eyes off the screen for a bit, then I reloaded and went back to a previous iteration of his save, and that time he glitched to the point I had to stop playing him. If only I was able to focus on one save for a significant period of time before I get bored...
One of the spellcasters I just created got a vampire skin detail when I made her in CAS, and I don't know how to remove it. I decided just to embrace it and maybe I can even come up with a cool story for why she got it. So I vote yes, scars can be cool and have a backstory too.
The scar gives him a story to tell and some individuality in the world of Sims who are all conventionally attractive in all the same ways. Gives him some swagger.
Definitely let Erik keep the scar. I think it makes him more than "just another pretty-boy singer," and might actually increase his popularity with a wider range of fans who might identify with a dude who looks like he's walked some mean streets.
It was traumatic and he was taken by ambulance to the hospital. If you desire to know more you can click here. It's my fourth story entry called Newsflash.
@Benjamlian He's got plenty of Simoleons to afford the plastic surgery, is one of the reasons I asked. I think he'll end up keeping it as a reminder to himself to remain humble.
@mcrudd I don't possess the modding skill you have displayed, else I would try that.

I have to admit that even creating a new neighborhood in Sims2 took me years to try. Then with Sims3 CAW was just plain over my head! I never could wrap my brain around that one.

If he's got it he should keep it, since that's how scars tend to work.

Thank you. I'm partial to him, too. And I love the original NCIS. I love how Gibbs used to slap Tony on the back of his head. LOL

I wish I were more like Gibbs IRL. Heβs my favourite character. Loved the head slap as sometimes heβd change when he did it. π

That was an incredible read! I'd love to hear more of your story and follow along, but I have the hardest time keeping track of things like that.
