the only thing i want is the ablity to have dates at home. cause sims always go out but whats wrong with maybe dinner and a movie at home.
But you could? When you called your lover and choose place for date you could choose home? I always did it bc it is annoyed when stranger come to interupted our date
i know you can but because its not counted as a date sims also have the ablity to leave when they want
It count! I always got date reward event at home. Did you just called then to hang out instead date?
Wish more Recipe/harvestable/woodwork/craftableWish live in businessWish more interactive between sims and activityWish a lot of refresh and Better resize pleaseWish for another colour upgrade swatchWish for pool sliderFix the bug please
Hey, been thinking over this idea for the type A sims out there😆😊
I was just thinking it would be awesome if we could have day planners/agendas for our sims. I have a college sim and trying to keep up with her job, activities, and schoolwork is a pain. I have to keep checking the calender and the calendar doesn't allow you to add tasks or to-do lists.
We can add little stickers and repeat notes and perhaps special University pack sticks telling you to "Do (insert class here) homework" and you can plan when to start studying for the finals. It would make things easier if we can add tasks to the calendar or a daily to-do list so I know which home she has to do when and keep up with her projects and housework.
a little weird but i also would like a urinal for more realism. i know theres a cc one byt if it breaks which it has then you have to wait for updates and we haven't had one since sims 2 as far as i knoq. 3 doesn't always cooperate with me.
Being able to finish a meal in a restaurant in reasonable amount of time!
More activities that are done together that also builds relationships (like cooking)
The hang out interaction back for teens and YA
Kids being able to play with each other without toys (tag, hide and seek, pillow fighting) and building relationship while they play
Slow dancing
More variety of jobs (even just rabbit holes), for instance jobs that reflect the jobs we see in game (nanny, librarian...)
Attraction system (tied to the likes/dislikes)
More age appropriate interactions and differentiation between ages (more traits added as you age up, some specific for older ages)
Phases for all ages - but less intrusive and more impactful
Rebellious kids actually refusing to do things asked of them.
Kids being generally less well behaved.
More "slightly negative" traits (bad cook, harder to learn certain skills, bad sense of humor)
Fears and phobias
Middle age (there are five ages between birth and 30, then only two for the remaining 60 year of a lifespan.)
More forms of wrinkles and other skin imperfections to choose from
More basic male CAS
Glasses added in everyday mode automatically put glasses in the other categories (save for sleep & swim)
Talking while relaxing or sunbathing
Socialisation is fun (at least for some sims)
Open neighbourhoods (To me it makes sense that you would need a loading screen when going further, but can run next door without it. I want kids playing in the park next door while parents are cooking.
Babies that can be moved around (changing tables, baby carriers, play mats, cribs...)
Functions tied to all venue types (museums I'm looking at you!)
Combinable venue types and more useful lot traits
Personality sliders for some traits in addition to the traits (slob-neat, introvert-extrovert, insecure-confident, mean-nice, logical-creative)
Games on table tops in stead of tables
Hotels
Long term rentals
I could keep going, but I'll leave it at that for now.
Moreover, I advise that the cart button must be destroyed!
I would like cars, and garages. I would also like cribs, as the baby carrier does get boring. Plus we could even use those cribs for toddlers as well, but level them up to a bed. All items listed by OP as well, and spiral stairs!
Bigger lots, I feel like the standard square or rectangle shape wastes a lot of space and I'd love to be able to customize all that unused land around my house
Things I would like to see:
1. Story Progression. The world should progress around them.
2. Open neighborhoods. My sims rarely travel anywhere because I hate loading screens. I believe the commercial districts at a bare minimum should be open.
3. Personalities should be a combination of Sims 2 style and Sims 3 style with traits that influence gaining skill levels (negatively and positively), as well as more "quirk" type traits. Aspirations/Lifetime Wishes should be influenced by traits (and an option to randomly generate them).
4. More customization in CAS. Unusual hair colors should be genetic. Maybe not the complete range of HEX colors, but a variety from light to dark in the basic colors.
5. More historical clothing/decor.
I still want them to give us the stuff we're missing after years of waiting. We have nothing fun for our sims to do as a family , a group, or as hobbies beyond knitting and needlepoint. I'm still waiting on a remake of Free Time. I'm still waiting on carnivals or theme parks. I'm still waiting on cool vacation spots like in Bon Voyage. Where is the mechanical bull? Where are our cars? Why do we still not have a pool table? Can we please get some arcade games? Why do we still not have bands? Is there a reason we can't do anything interesting in the pool? Where are our water slides? Where are our spiral staircases? It absolutely boggles my mind that things we had in The Sims and The Sims 2 are "impossible" in The Sims 4. Someone make it make sense.
I also would love bigger lots, spiral staircases, more interactions with babies, more immersive story progression, and improvements to build mode to allow for more creativity.
Freed babies and new items/gameplay including cribs, diaper changing stations, bathing in sink, bouncers, strollers, baby monitors, play pens, baby carriers, nursery items
Cars, garages & fixer uppers
More events for major life milestones: prom, high school graduation, baby showers, gender reveal parties, retirement parties
More traits: rebellious, absent-minded, brave, disciplined, coward, mooch
Return of missing romantic interactions: cuddle in bed, make out on bed/floor, romantic stargazing, skating with partner, kiss up arm, leap into arms
High school gameplay, including more after school clubs/activities, cheerleading, football
Better teen gameplay: sneaking out, throwing house parties, spin the bottle/7 minutes in heaven, dares, learning to drive, having crushes
More venue types: hotels/resorts, malls, movie theaters, amusement parks, sporting arenas, concert venues, banquet halls
Missing objects: treehouses, lemonade stands, pool tables, poker/blackjack/roulette tables, slot machines, hammocks, heart shaped hot tub, vibrating beds, photobooths, pinball machines, cotton candy makers, snow cone machines, see-saws, sandboxes, jungle gyms, hot air balloons, mechanical bulls, TS1 ice cream stand, model trains, soda fountain
Bands
Dancing on counters/tables, “entertainers”, getting juiced
Consequences: burglars, illnesses resulting in death, earthquakes, tsunamis/tornados, getting detention/suspended/expelled, going to jail, death by flies, aspiration failure, midlife crisis
Attraction/chemistry system, more likes/dislikes (such as food), wants/fears, memories, astrology signs
All these are great items and I'd be happy to see any of them, along with cars and the tractor was a cool item in 3. New packs will have to have something I really want in them to get me to buy them.
Personally i'd LOVE to see an equestrian pack... hear me out! Ive seen people say "there isnt a need for horses when there's the cottage life pack" which is true. although, my idea is that the equestrian pack could offer 2 new careers -that you may travel to work with- as a 'professional equestrian rider' in which they train and compete in eventing competitions(x-country, show jumping, and dressage), and a 'horse trainer' in which the job would be to essentially train the horses or fix whatever requested behavior of the selected clients. (ex: the same as the interior decorator career.) This pack i feel could be great as a career-type pack aimed right for the horse people, while also making it a good way to make lots of simoleons!
I would love to build something without mods and heavy CC that is essentially Frank Lloyd Wright a visionary in architecture. He created an open concept for architecture before the term open-concept was even a thought. He create "green" architecture before it was even a phrase used in our modern terminolgy.
I would love to build Falling Water without it being heavy CC.
Next, I want spiral staircases.
I want to build curved Walls. I want the ability to have walls angle in or angle out. San Myshuno would look awesome with The Guggenheim Museum of Modern Art.
I would love vaulted ceilings. I can do a Cathedral Ceiling very easily since it follows the pitch of the roof.
I would love a wide range of styles of architecture to build with and interior design styles such as:
Art Deco
Art Nouveau
Neoclassical
Contemporary
Beaux-Arts
Prairie
Mediterranean
Baroque
Gothic
Victorian
Edwardian
Retro
French Country
Shabby Chic
etc...
etc...
and so much more for all eras that Simmers wish to have their sims play in
Landlines
Billiards
Leaded glass and stained glass
Tiffany Glass (Tiffany Lamps)
Elevators anywhere without mods
More art (There is plenty of art that is in the public domain that can be used and not cost the sims team to use because it's in the public domain.
Larger lots than 64x64
luxury items that would make Nancy Langraab drool and demand that Geoffry let her have every last one... ask CC artists for help with this one.
Tennis courts
Golf Ranges (Nancy says Geoffry needs help with his game.)
Horse stables
Cars that our sims can drive (It could be done in Sims 3 it should be able to be done in Sims 4)
Multi-level and multi-height walls for each level. Platforms can fake multi-level to a point. For example a tall wall for grand entry but medium or short walls for the rest of the level.
Playtesting - not just tabletop games and card games any more. Really that should have been playtested in Beta and not
I won’t hold my breath, but I do want “ video camera” objects back from the sims 4. I missed when your sims video recording their sims family, friends, pets, & etc. of their moments & they can play their videos on their television to look back their moments. Here one explain on the clip in the sims 3: Generations:
Oh, my list is long... But I will only post the most important ones for me:
First: We need a n upright Paino for the Base Game! The Grand Pianos are so limiting, because they take so much space. And also... how many people actually do have a Grand Piano in their homes in real life?
And here come the other things: - glass walls and glass floors - possibility to build apartment builginds - and to have a shop on a rental lot! - spiral stairs - round rooms - an electronic bass - make eyecolors of occult sims useable on normal sims - sorted DEBUG - Swimming Skill, so that people, who can't swim have a high risk of drowning
I wish we had the opportunity to customize our own lightning colors with hex code. I believe we had that function in TS3? I can spend days in build/buy and the lightning plays a huge part of the end result.

More cultural wear and food inspired by Jewish, Native/Indigenous, Black American cultures.
More hobbies and after school activities.
Funerals and graveyards.
More activities for children and toddlers.
Cas update with ability to copy outfits, lock an accessory, and make your own styled looks.
i would love if you could have more relationship options, sorr y you judt made me think of it.
I could keep going, but I'll leave it at that for now.
