    What is the worst trait do you think in game?

    The worst trait is Meanspirited for me. :D I have meanspirited sim and he enjoys pointing his family with his finger for insulting. But good point is that meanspirited sims can BEAT UP the burglars.
    The 2nd worst trait is inappropriate. :D I think they have the better ability to make love more than flirty or hopeless romantic sims. It's almost unable to guess what they will do the next action. Sometimes, they act like the meanspirited or hotheaded sims, sometimes, they act like the flirty or hopeless romantic sims. They can kiss with other strangers. :D

      Proper. I like the idea, but sims changing into formal wear repeatedly is truly going to be a part of my eternal torment in Hades.

      I can find something endearing about most TS3 traits, but the two I absolutely have no use for are Diva and Bot Fan. :)

      Absent minded because sims just won't do half of the stuff they are supposed to do, and Bot fan just changes into the cardboard robot :/

      Jealous, it's just too much when they lash out at their partner even when they're talking to mutual friends

      mine do that without the trait. i have been trying to finish my legacy for abut 5 yrs now my family has minds of their own.

      I have some experience with diva sim before. My diva sim was friendly unless other sim insult him. 🤫 But he always slapped whenever other sim tried to offend him. 🤣

      Oh yes I want to try jealous trait in next game play. Also I’d love to see what is different between the sims 3 jealous and the sims 4 jealous too. It sounds like more the sims 4 jealous from your story. 😄

      @igazor I’m not a huge fan of the Diva trait but every once in a while I like to give it to a very dramatic sim for effect lol

      OMG.. i had a look the trait list in sims wiki and you are correct. 🤣 I totally got confused with the sims 4.

      oh i just saw this was for sims3 that last story was for 4. but i havea funny sims 3 story too so hopefully you all won't mind much i was just beyond exhausted so didn't pay attention to where i posted. i attempted a regular 10 generation legacy in 3 i made one male sim got him a job and attempted to get him a single female. the key word is actually attemted cause he was beyond determind to get with nancy landgrab married with 3 kids nancy landgrab . no matter how many times i tried to get him with someone else. did i mention my sims can be stubborn?

      For me it's probably a tie between unflirty and maker. Everyone in my game ends up getting together at some point, so unflirty throws a wrench in that LOL! Maker just annoys me because I kint irl so in my mind a maker would make knitted things, but knitting doesn't count towards the maker trait. It's a tad annoying...

      Yes it's kind of annoying, so I set the same outfit as everyday and formal for my proper sim. :D And this is the good part for proper sim.

      When the proper sim gets upset, the sim slaps other sim using his glove. :D Oh! This is his everyday suit and also formal suit. So I don't mind how many times he changes to his formal wear. :D The sim is being slapped is Jacob Salaman in Uni world. He enjoys insulting and fighting against other sims. My proper sim is giving him a good education with his glove.

      Actually, your first comment could more correct for the sims 3 sims. :D I feel they have their own mind. Sometimes, they don't listen what user ask them to do in the sims 3 too! Sorry about your Nancy story..as I didn't fully understand what was going on. I know the word 'attempt' but do you mean that your sim tried to marry Nany Langraab with her 3 kids so many times? Is that why you say your sim is stubborn?

      Sounds like you are talking about the sims 4 traits. :D This is the Sims 3 forum. :) I don't own Eco Lifestyle but heard there's a maker aspiration? I don't like Unllirty in the sims 4. They complain to see her parent sims are flirting each other. It's not her issue but anyway she complains because she witness any kind of romance. I asked her parents go down to basement so that their unflirty teen daughter cannot witness their romance but it failed. The daughter came down to the basement and complained again. As long as they were in the same lot with her, they had no freedom to make romance. It's frustrating. But the sims 3 unflirty sims are fine. They don't like to do romance with acquaintances and strangers. They don't have any issue for loving with friends, good friends and best friends. :) They don't complain about other sims' romances.

      Whoops, I didn't even realize that I was on a Sims 3 one lol! I can't remember any Sims 3 ones I didn't like, but I can think of a handful of ones that I miss from 3! lol!

      i meant i tried hard to get him with single sims and all he wanted was nancy landgrab. his boss who was maried and had 3 kids. i was still tired yesterday so hopefully it makes more sense today. works been absolutely nuts so i get tired easy even though its only 4 hours 2 days a week. also i never read the first page of the thead here so i wasn't sure what it was. i think i found my way here yesterday

      Ahhh now I got it!! He might have a hopeless romantic or family oriented trait. :D Yes I was talking about the worst traits in game. :) If you got tired of his behaviour, then it's the correct thread.

      no i didn't get tired of his behavior . before that i never played drama. but he broke up a happy family. my sims 3 game broke for a a while but after finding this i might go back its fixed now but my legacy is in 4.

      i play both too. my dad knew i wanted 4 since we didn't have a release date he gave me money for it. now hes been gone 4 yrs so i lke it cause when i play its like hes there. 3 is fixed kind of . i can play but since i bought discs not downloads i have to check all the packs in the launcher to make them show up simaller to when you download from the store.

      There are several traits I don't care for but none I'll change faster than 'Flirty'! Flirty Sims don't know HOW to flirt! WHEN to flirt! And, can't seem to make up their minds about WHO to flirt with! Everyone is fair game. In my game this is more of a trouble-maker trait.

      Too bad when the attraction system was being designed their designer(s) didn't add a way for flirty Sims to use their personality trait a bit better.

      I actually have NRaas Story Progression set to prevent any sims from ever getting the never nude trait. It's such a total waste of a trait slot.

      I generally dislike a lot of expansion traits, just because for some dumb reason, no sim can learn them! So your partner for life forever has ???? on the trait list, due to EA bugs. Nraas mods havent fixed it either.

      Other issues with expansion traits is that many are just ' I do this one skill/career better than others' , without really unlocking new socials or behaviours.
      • Perceptive sims mostly have a wasted slot if they arent Investigators plus 'Your Sim will learn traits of other Sims more quickly through socializing' is useless due to above bug where most expansion traits cannot be learned.
      • Savvy Sculptors are one-dimensional sculpting gods, and I beleive they cannot get sculpting items from 'lucky failures', nor can you get amusing things like headless statues, so its a 'perfection or nothing' trait.
      • Photographer's Eye is another one-dimensional trait, but at least it has its own socials. Not a single premade sim has this trait either, so you have to go out of your way to make a cameraman to ever use it.
      • Loves the Cold/Loves the Heat are redundant due to reward traits from lifetime happiness, they do almost nothing. Sims 4 later made this kind of trait a hidden trait, instead of a full one.
      • Adventurous basically locks you into running off to the vacation destinations constantly and has no use in everyday life.

      Just to point out some of the real bad ones. Negative traits are great as they actually give personality to sims, like people being utterly terrified of water, being needlessly cruel for the hell of it, or just simply mucking up everyday moments.
      Rebuilding Sims 2 inside Sims 3 one lot and sim at a time.
