Crashing to Desk Top

Crashing to Desk Top when in Edit Town, seems to be connected to recoloring objects. This started about 4 days ago and nothing has changed in my game, same old mods (Nrass) and no new cc or anything else in more than a year. All Mods and everything else are up to date. Help needed. Thanks

Could be that your save file is corrupted. Have you tried doing the same thing in a different save to see if it's crashing too?

One thing I thought of is I had used a custom hair that I'd had in my game for a couple of years and never used. Once I used it the game got corrupted. I spent days working on it and finally tracked it down to that hair. Once I got rid of it the problems went away. Fortunately I usually do a SaveAs and use a different name each time I do that so I didn't lose much game play.

Having the same problem in all games and different worlds. I have used a few objects that I normally don't use, will check them out. Thanks

Another thing that always crashes the game while loading it is having NRAAS Cupcake mod in the mods folder when the bakery set isn't installed.

@airotciv54 - If you're having problems in all worlds, if worst comes to worst you may have to do a complete reset...by pulling your games folder (do that by renaming it and saving it somewhere else on your hard-drive, generating a new game folder, making a new mods folder...then going through your mods/cc in your renamed game folder one by one to find the troublesome mod or cc and transferring them into your new game mods folder. This is why I always put a temp folder in my mods/packages folder to put "new" mods in. At least then I know if something hangs up, then it's one of the ones in the temp folder causing the problem.

Only when I know that the game boots and has loaded completely, do I sort the cc/mod into its proper folder.

I was hoping not to have to do a complete reset, but it looks like that's what I'm going to have to do. Thanks
