Eurydice: My mother was a very good cook, often serving food at weddings and stuff like that. While she was pregnant with me, she gained some fame from it, and then after giving birth, had an offer to accept early retirement and get a lump sum of cash, or continue, get some fame, and etc. She took early retirement, but still was an avid cook.
Naturally, as I got older, this rubbed onto me as it usually happens. I gained progress very fast, my mom got fat from my cooking, and I sent a request to Foxbury, hoping to get a scholarship or distinguished degree in cooking. It didn’t happen that way, unfortunately.

Orpheus and I have discussed me going back to university. I haven’t brought up the subject to start a family to him yet, deciding if I want to do this, it needs to happen now before we have a baby. He wants me to be happy so of course he agreed, but I know he’ll mourn himself over me being gone.

So yea, basically, I want to be an experienced cook. If I get some spotlight from it and a lot of promotions, maybe I can be the sole provider. If I graduate, that would help..

Did you ever have any childhood friends or young love?

Lucian: "Well, I guess I do now..."

Cassiopeia: *giggling, holds out her hand to display a rather impressive ring* "I know how crazy it sounds, but our parents gave us their blessing and we've set the date!"

Lucian: "We're from an unusual family and it's gonna sound weird, but Cassie and I have known each other our whole lives, as we've lived together since I was born, well, made...whatever...uh...-"

Cassiopeia: "-What Lucian means is, he's a clone. My oldest brother Orien made him, using our human dad's DNA sample, and this is weird but, we're not siblings though we've always been that close." Lucian blushes hotly, looks down. Cassie puts her hand on his, and continues:

"It sounds offputting to human cultural taboos, but we have a family of medical researchers, scientists, and geneticists, who say that my being half-Sixamite means we don't face any genetic issues if we have kids. Sixamite reproduction isn't analogous to that in humans, or I couldn't be the product of two fathers. For this reason, our family's geneticists and doctors all agree that there is nothing worrisome about us marrying."

Lucian: "Most people think we're not ready just because of our ages, but no one can say we don't know each other well enough, and if age is the only objection, we're still planning to finish our education and become stable in life before having a kid."
    *Laughs nervously*

What place that you haven't been, do you want to go visit?

Morgyn: I’ve visited most of our known world and have homes in quite a few places. I might like to visit Selvadorada when I can get some time away. The jungle sounds intriguing. I love a mystery and cursed relics are right up my alley. A friend of mine is currently visiting a town in the desert that is also somewhat unique. I was going to join him, but he said I shouldn’t. Some kind of weird outbreak going on there, apparently.

Q: So, how about that Eliza Pancakes?

Kio: "Hmm, I've never heard of that recipe. Which is strange because I know and have made quite a few different pancake mixes for breakfasts before. What region is it from?"

What flavour would you put in your dream fizzy juice?

Dior: I’ve never tried it (I’m on that diet called vampirism, where you only crave one drink. You should really try it! I could help you get started ;) ), but I imagine cherry and passion fruit.
Speaking of passion…you wanna go out sometime? I fix some killer pancakes. You could introduce me to those fizzy drinks, I could introduce you to the girl of your dreams (myself of course)..and some other things.
How about it? Come on. Don’t worry, you won’t make my other men jealous. They’ll never know!

Q: Have you had the unfortunate “honor” of being a twin?

Mom has something with twins because all 8 of us were (4 pregnancies, can you imagine?). I was born with the boring twin, Vis’ is no fun, y’know? Hopefully the new twins mom just popped out will be more interesting. I need w side kick.
Maybe if Vis could actually see all the sexy men, she’d be more on my side of things, but apparently them cloudy eyes of hers have more of a downfall then just being ugly.

Norrell and Tadeo: (eyeing each other) "Yes we have."

Norrell: "And I totally relate to having a boring twin. Mine just wants to spend all his time in his room on his computer."

Tadeo: (frowns) "I'd actually love to have a twin who was a bit less... 'exciting.' Or, at least, one who can walk down the street without making weird things happen or having to draw attention from the entire population.

What's the weirdest experience you've ever had (or caused)?

Dr. Strangelove: "Being lifted up in a beam of light, brought onto a UFO, and being asked some questions before losing my memory, and a lot of time, waking up at home. Or at least, that would have been the strangest thing, if it hadn't been followed with frightening physical changes culminating in my giving birth through anatomy I hadn't owned, prior to all this, to a green baby.

Meeting and then marrying the actual pollinator, the other parent of our child, was something they say is very rare. But we're a big happy family now, with two strapping green sons and a lovely green daughter, our youngest looks just like me because well, in a way, he IS me, being my clone.

In fact, and this is uncomfortable for me, because I have the human taboo on this that Sixamites don't share: my daughter just got married. To my clone. I get why that bothers practically every human. But as my Sixamite spouse attests, there's no actual problem involved, except human bias, because genetically, despite his DNA being a direct copy of mine, her being half Sixamite removes any concerns about their choice to marry.

It also feels less weird to me personally because he didn't feel like my son, but more like a...cousin's kid, or great nephew or something. He was raised primarily by my spouse, and his creator, my oldest son Orien. At least Lucian will have experience, when and if he and my daughter have a child. Hey, at least I know the family background of my daughter's husband. *laughs nervously*

Morgyn: I have fond memories of traveling the worlds in a caravan when I was very young. Of course, the Romas weren’t my real family, but they made sure I understood the ways of the world and had a safe place to begin exploring my early powers before I went for official training in the Magic Realm. My best friend in those days was Esme. She was like a sister to me and understood me better than anyone else. It’s difficult to watch her grow old while I remain youthful, but that is the price of being one of The Ancients and a fully manifested Mage. Her family continues to grow, though, so there will be Romas in my life for years to come.

What would you say is your strongest talent?

I got a little to rowdy as a rebellious teen and made the choice to be a necromancer, raising dead, all that stuff, y’know? ..It’s really not that scary, just displeasing, I swear it.
I still wouldn’t suggest it, even if you really really hate your parents and want to show them that..like yours truly. One who spends time so closely to death reek of it. I was a pretty girl who didn’t know what she had, like so many. A side of my face is now sunk in slightly, my body is devoid of fat, and I know that sounds pleasant and all, but not when you start looking like one of the souls you revive that’s been dead since the Victorian Ages.

So yea, I guess my talent is bringing the dead back.
A lot of people don’t understand why I can’t bring back everyone I once loved. Some simply aren’t meant to be brought back, like the Victorian guy I talked about earlier. Mistake in my early years.

But anyhow, I have recently been approached by Vlad Straud about my talents, who simply won’t die no matter how long the years rip into him.Vampirism..yay. He’s finally got some little Straud spawns going on, 8 of them….. So apparently he wants me to marry one of them.
Cadell, I think he’s called? Apparently he’s been away studying business at a vampire only school since 9. 9. Oh yea- he’s still not even back.
But yea, Im wanted because Vlad thinks my necromancy can prove useful to the family, even though they are all vampires.
Imagine trying to marry off your son that you basically sold off at 9 to study an adults job? And for this long? I know it’s a needy job, but surely it doesn’t need this much time.

What display of horrible parenting have you seen?

Alfred: when a toddler is hungry but one parent will put them in the high chair and the other will take them out before they can be fed, repeatedly until the toddler is way too hungry because the parents can't decide who's on first. I say, just get rid of the high chair if it's so confusing!

Gregory: Once when I was younger I accidentally started a fire in the living room and almost burned the house down. My mother didn't let me out of my room for a week! She gave me food and I has access to a bathroom, but still it was terrible and very boring.

I'm definitely more of a dog person than a cat person.

Edit: Oops, I thought that this was the "Ask Me Anything" thread. Oh well, My sims always have dogs instead of cats, anyway.

In your opinion, what is the most underrated movie?

Morgyn: You know that movie where the puppy gets lost then comes home again? I like that movie. Other Sages think it’s just a children’s movie, but it’s really a metaphor about life’s journey. Really. It is. And, no, I don’t cry. Really. I don’t.

Kio: I guess when I was possessed by the Mother plant and unknowingly tried to enslave humanity to an alien species. But I noticed something was up when I kept having these blackouts and waking up in places I'd never been before. My friends helped sever the Mother plant's connection with everyone's minds.
I then decided to make use of my former mental connection to the Mother and negotiated a truce between her plants and the citizens of Strangerville. I'm kind of really proud of that actually. For a guy who spent most of his life living underground I can't quite believe I managed to pull that off. I mean, heh, vampires saving humans isn't really something you see every day so I hope that maybe it encouraged humans to see that we're not all parasitic bloodsuckers you know?

Chad: my own high-maintenance nature. I'm a spa specialist making a name for myself on social media, but I need upkeep too, you know! Clients must come first or so they say, but to be the best of the best, I have to BE at my best. It takes a lot of hustle to fit in my own mudbaths and mani pedis, around giving hot stone aromatherapy massage and teaching mindfulness meditation. But it's worth it, I could live at the spa and I practically do. Maybe someday I'll buy it outright.

Did I tell you about that awful dream I had last night? It was so weird and upsetting, I just can't get it out of my mind. Want to join me in the steam room and I'll tell you all about it?

Oh, and what about you, ever had a really upsetting dream?

Ikkanu: I did once dream that I was being chased by an enormous Yamachan. I don't even know what a Yamachan is, or how I knew it was one in the dream, but somehow I knew, which really disturbs me. Is this Yamachan going to keep visiting me in my dreams? What is a Yamachan? What does it all mean?!

Just to let Albert know, there is a 'toilet bush' in the bluffs, as well as a nappable natural stone bench near the ancient Roman baths (the murky green water where some of us still like to go in for dips) but it is a very hard place for my homeless/penniless Sims to be invited out to for all the reasons you mentioned. And in my experience, the very best bars and nightclubs, including a vampire bar, are in the city of Bridgeport, but you have to go to Sims 3 to get there and even then, the best of them are very exclusive and you have to be somebody, or know somebody, to get past the bouncers.

    Nathan:

Of them all: of Sulani (Sims 4), Island Paradise (Sims3) and Twikii Island (Sims2) Twikii Island was just the best vacation ever.

All of them offer gorgeous scenery, but the service, amenities, and activities at the beachfront resort in Twikii, the romance of the lanai facing the ocean, and the ability to scramble down to the beach directly from the hotel room, made it the most memorable of them all, and the most relaxing.

Everyone who has ever been on vacation knows the problem with vacations often feeling like a lot of work, but if you just want a real retreat for R&R, instead of active adventure/missions to carry out, you can't beat Twikii Island. It was the most restorative experience, to eat gourmet food brought to my room by attentive staff, out on the lanai while watching the moon rise over the ocean, to take a hula class, and spend my first few days just sunning on the beach, swimming, making sandcastles, then lazing around in bed. Room service was prompt, cleaning was done while I was out, the staff were friendly and engaging, without being pushy or intrusive, and I got to explore the rest of the island at my leisure, including fleak markets and local curiosities. I also had the freedom to change my itinerary and check out of the resort, to try out the private beach bungalows, and I enjoyed both, though the full-service resort won my heart.

I've been to Sulani, been to Island Paradise and while they are enjoyable, especially Island Paradise, for pure stress-free relaxation and soaking up an experience, Twikii tops the rest. Of course it goes without saying at any popular vacation destination, take precautions, there are pickpockets about.

What's your best travel experience, then?
