I really want Generations or something like that.
  • logionlogion Posts: 4,716 Member
I don't want 1 EP, 1 GP and 1 SP to be the standard to be honest. I think they should have 2 EP's every year, one for summer and one for winter.

Apart from that, I like your suggestions, except pre-teens. I think teens need more stuff to do, not be divided into another life state.

Sadly, this year was limited maybe due covid. Hope 2023 can bring us 2 EPs, 1 GP and 2 SP, plus Kits and Delivey Express.

About Pre-teens, indeed teens must be reworked but pre-teens can have unique traits and interactions.

I like these ideas and would like to see a Jane Austen/Regency Era stuff pack or kit, plus more build items for Modern Farmhouse design, Shaker-style cabinets, curved stairs, pools, and walls with an option for round roofs and maybe spiral staircases. Easier multi-level or split-level homes would be great as well.

And a one-square-wide version of the double Mega window.

Play with life after all, why not play with life in different themed settings. Let the imagination of creativity go wild.

This is all fine and dandy, but can we get some Chinese inspired stuff? I know we got Snowy Escape which is cool for us who love building Asian style architecture, but its all very Japanese. We got the CNY coming up, can we get more Zodiac Statues at least? I can't keep making pig palaces...hell, it looks like my whole town worships pigs. Can we get some Lion dog and Lion turtle statues? Maybe some circular door ways / arches for garden walls. Maybe a rock path for a fountain. Like an old Ancient Chinese garden would be cool. Maybe some wooden murals? The kind you see in temples. Some Chinese inspired furniture. This stuff would be great for building museums too. Don't get me wrong, I really dig the cultural packs...but can we get some Chinese stuff outside of the very limited Old school CNY stuff.

I love the suggestions. I do however hope they go back to 2 expansion packs a year. In addition to what you suggested I would like a hotel themed pack, EP or maybe GP. I would also like a kids/teens summer camp type GP. I would like a pool party SP.

I would love to see a new pack type centered around worlds. Having worlds based on places around the globe with objects and interactions that bring those worlds to life. The sims team does worlds very well.

Like a livable Sixam, Alien sims shouldn't be exiles from their own planet.

I really like these ideas and hope that they do a period based pack rather than a kit. In my mind a kit would be too limiting and there'd be plenty to explore in a stuff pack. To be honest I'm surprised that they haven't already released something like that. Hopefully this year will be the year that they do. :)

Like Federal Japan with Samurai, Ronins (Masterless Samurai), Ninjas, Kunoichi (Female Ninjas), Duels to the Death, Yokai like Kitsunes (9 tailed shapeshifting magical foxes that take human form but with fox ears and tails), Tengu (Crow yokai that hate Kitsunes some have red human faces with elongated noses), Kappas (Turtle Yokai with water on their heads and tend to love cucumbers), Yuki-Onna (attractive women with ice powers, may or may not be ghosts), Oni (demons/Ogres may have 2 horns or 1 horn, comes in 2 flavors red hothead and extroverted or blue calm, collected and introverted).

Don't even get me started on the Jorogumo, fair warning some of you aren't prepared for the arachnophobia that comes with that one.

I got one for a BG update. You know how we have the custom option for rooms, basements, and even pools that have us making them into any shape we want? Why not a custom roof option that can do the same thing so that roofs can fit our weird and amazing custom room shapes?

I'm literally sick of kits all we have is one gameplay kit out of 8 I think.
But I do like generation with Preteens.
    Vehicles is beyond needed.
    I would love lawnmowers.
    Spirals Stairs.
Also hair salon like washing and styling hair.

I would like some generations pack with tweens. However I would also like some special stuff packs, gameplay packs, and expansion packs that focus on special content for first mainly adults and then 2nd elders and maybe providing sub-lifestages within adults life stage and elder life stage and within possible optional regular aging rate geriatric cybernetic lifespan/longevity extension stage life stage and organic-techno artificial eternal youth/slowed aging rate life span/longevity extension lifestage after ordinary normal traditional elder lifestage. With ordinary human sim either gradual and/or abruptly turned/transitioned into occult sim. Since even if the others are additionally for Sims 4 they aren't necessarily exactly brand new to the entire franchise as a whole with Sims 1, 2, 3, and 4.

I guess honestly I am not sick of kits because they are just as much contributed to overall gameplay evolution as expansion packs since it is the individual objects of stuff packs/kits that provide additional things more using in newer and possibly more unique ways for gameplay. Just thinking of the various diverse selection of activities and skill set development gameplay for Sims and if you are honestly and truely sick of gameplay kit then why do you even acquire the same thing in acquiring unofficial mods/creative content that are possibly not as likely to work while more likely to give your computer viruses(even if the modders and creative content designers claim that their is no computer viruses risk there is actually still the risk since even if the mods/creative content aren't necessarily built to contain inbuilt computer viruses there seems to usually be hitchhiker computer viruses from the website and/ online engines that the mods/creative content was downloaded and installed through) from the download/installation in comparison/contrast to ea official gameplay packs, expansion packs, and stuff packs. Not that I am against unofficial mods and creative content. It is simply that both strive to accomplish the same thing but one is while obviously cost a good amount of money over time it is more likely successfully work with not as much computer viruses risk than the other options even if the other options are free and/or cheeper to pay for. Both sets of options have potential costs in benefits and risks associated to them that should be in-depth genuinely unbiased analysis of both options with their directly connected and indirectly connected potential costs in benefits and risks. And I am discussing with any computer game and video game not solely those contained within the Sims franchise.
