Problem with my sim calendar?

I play with age active household only on and when I check the calendar I find sims with birthdays coming up moving one day forward. Is this normal with this method of aging on?

    Play how you like! :)
It's your game. If you enjoy watching the calendar really closely, that's cool.

I play with aging off, but I didn't know you get birthdays pop up in the calendar if you having aging on? That sounds really fun actually. I never have birthdays, but I might turn aging on in a save to see how that works.

Yes, you have 24 simhours to age them up with a cake before they do it on their own and the calendar notifies you of the beginning of the period.
Sorry for the mistakes, English is not my first language ^^'

Of course it'll move forward with that setting. The birthdays means that on that day the aging bar will become full, thus you'll have some time to throw a birthday party. Plus you can plan out you sim's days before they age up.

If you don't want the day to move forward, either:
    a) enable aging for all the households
    b) play with one household long enough that they reach their birthday

Hi @Brd709 , if a household is not to age while you're playing other households, yes the birthdays must move forward for that to happen. The birthday should move forward by however many days you played other households.

Hm, that makes me wonder how I set my aging after I turned it off for Uni. My main Sim became a father the day after graduation. I remembered to turn aging back on, but the others, whom I made certain had babies started via MCCC, have had their babies, but none of them have aged up, yet. They should be right behind my first Toddler. :open_mouth: I would like the cousins to all grow up together.
