I've been playing without mods because I'm always worried about things breaking and because I can do without most of them, but this one seems really appealing. I wish the devs did more stuff like this. I especially like the various bits about friendships taking a little more time to achieve, but mattering more.
I wanted to give a little time before commenting. So far i'm not impressed enough to see it worth being downloaded yet. The latest "leave" option i know won't work for any amount of time because if you get rid of one annoying random sim, another will show up shortly after, and then another and then another. That's an issue with the way the game autonomy is designed. If CG wan'ts to show some actual depth and improvement, he needs to get into the game and make meaningful change that the sims developers seem incapable of doing themselves.
Kinda wished Sims 4 originally had a hard mode option for this game that worked something like this mod which would allow crazy stuff to happen in it but whatever.
If you are interested in challenges; check out the Reincarnation challenge right at this link! here!| If you want spectator mode; go to this link. (for sims 3) here
Carl fixed the reverting gardening bug in his latest update.
I really need that fix, EA has not fixed it and no other mod has, not like he said, that he completely fixed it.
The only issue I am struggling with is downloading this huge mod but/for a critical bug fix, I don’t really want anything else in it maybe the finance features.
I wish things were separated….,
Anyways, has anyone tested to see if the reverting is gone?
Ah well, I am glad other modders have done mods to fix those stuff too.
My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye..
Sea may rise, sky may fall, My love will never die..
My heart, my heart, My drowning heart, Oh all the tears I've cried
Oh I may weep forevermore, My love will never die..
After testing the mod for 2 days, I found that it can be beat if you have a career that has side jobs like gardening, programming, painting, or writing. I played with a single sim and went down the "Style Influencer Path" that has writing, and painting as part of it's career requirements. My sim was just reaching adulthood when he had over 20,000 simoleons saved from working, painting, and writing to offset Carl's 40% decrease in salary per hour worked. That means if you made 100 simoleons a hour, you really made 60 simoleons a hour x the hours worked for that day. Sounds like a lot? Then consider that most jobs start off at 19hr. With Carls mod that 19hr is now 9hr. Ha Ha Ha. Also if you have any other money coming in outside of your base salary, it's cut in half. So that painting that would have sold for 1000 simoleons is only worth 500 now. If you really want to feel the effect of the mod, then I suggest that you enter a career that has no side jobs. I ran it with a sim in the "Culinary Career Path" and he can barely pay the rent of 763 per week. I still have not bought a computer and I'm real conscious of how and what I spend my simoleons on. I checked out his video and he was right in that it's best to make friends to quickly fill the social meter when it gets low. Non-friends take much longer so pick your friends wisely. The mod has 3 levels. I think I'm playing on medium to hard. I play a single working sim in my games but for those of you who have more than 1 in their home, both should work to build up income. And lastly, don't even think about using the "SNB National Bank" mod with Carl's mod. The set up cost and property taxes will bankrupt you if you're not experienced enough with TS4. That's all folks. I hope that this was not too long. H.N.Y (Happy New Year)!!!
Patron only for now. No ETA of public release. Trying to decide if I want to support because he's doing some good stuff.
Yes, I have nothing against supporting, I do that for several, but always only if it is optional, not forced.

Befriending coworkers is already supposed to boost career gains. I don't think friends outside of work should make a difference.
