Wouldn't it be awesome if we could do that??

Well if you have another monitor it's easy enough to do so. :D

I was thinking we can access the Gallery with in the Game easy enough so perhaps we could enter the forum in a similar way. 😊 I only have one desktop.

I usually just Alt-Tab between the two; I'm often on the forum while playing, but I'm not doing both things simultaneously, it's more like "brb, sims, Watcher's gotta go talk to the rest of the gods."

A single desktop can have multiple screens depending on how many ports you have to work with. Even laptops can do this... But it's totally understandable if you don't have the extra space or screen.

I played with one monitor for many years since I had to share desk space with my husband. Now that we both have more space, it's so nice having that extra screen.

I have two monitors too that helps so you can have social media on one screen and a game on the other. Really useful for doing my taxes as well. I have two screens at work too.

I just use the forums on mobile lol
Adding images is a pain though because you gotta type out the whole [...img] thing every time

I kinda have this habit to multitask whenever playing the Sims so I use Windowed Fullscreen setting and constantly Alt+Tab. With the game minimized you can hover over the icon in taskbar and it shows a thumbnail of what's happening in the game. Especially useful if you Alt+tab during loading so you can then take a peek whether it's ready.

I play Fullscreen and just hit the Windows key to tab out to my browser when uploading screenshots etc. If I'm just looking up something I'm more likely to check via my phone browser.

I sometimes Alt-Tab out to forums while I'm in a game. But I've never felt a need or even a compelling wish to multi-task (anything at all) if I don't have to. And when it comes to games and forums, I don't have to. :)
FYI: Just because you can see my signature, don't assume that I can see yours.
Because I can't; I keep all sigs turned off. ;)

I play in windowed mode and have other things open at the same time, but my monitor is huge.

I only have a 15” screen, so I try to do just one thing at a time.

I do always have my iPad next to me, so it’s easy enough to look things up if I feel the need.

I also use my phone or iPad, when I switch using windows button it slows down the time for a bit and takes a moment for it to get back to normal

I don't divide my attention that way. I will save my game, hit pause and then since I use Windows, I am able to punch a certain button on my keyboard which squishes my game. Then I will go to the Forums to share whatever it was that took place in my game that I wanted to share. Also, I do believe there is a feature on Origin that will allow you to do what you're asking for. Like I said, I don't play and share simultaneously. My Sims are all too tricksy for me to let them just play on without my full attention. LOL

I sometimes read the forums on my iPad while I play.

I play on laptop. Sometimes I’ll pause the game and go back to Windows to look something up, or use my iPad for that, but I’m not usually on the forums while playing. To me they are two separate activities and I really don’t feel the need to multitask them.

I use two computers, one to play the game and the other to access the forum.

I usually just pause and switch screens when I want to access the forum. If my game is running smoothly, usually there's not too much of a lag :)

I don't normally have the need (or desire) to access the forum when I'm in the game. On the super rare occasion that I have, I just press the "Windows" key and minimize the game if I need to search for an answer to something or google search the answer (like cheats, because I'm horrible at remembering them.)

The only thing hitting the windows key does for me when Sims 4 is in fullscreen mode is lock up my computer

I play my game in windowed mode, so my toolbar shows up at the bottom of my screen so that I can just click on the Google button whenever I want to browser the site or the internet.
