I'm not sure, Shine Furystrykar. Pretty sure Ted Roswell's in a high security jail cell, where no mail can get out or in.

    Hey, Watcher,

Thanks for cheating my grades up after I spent 2 hours staring into space and missed my final exam! (Still don’t know why I did that.)

@AyKooChao I have seven Sims going through Uni at this moment. For some odd reason, some are late to class, to my chagrin. I have yet to figure out how, exactly to prompt them to move. I never know which building they need to go to, so I end up having to wait until class begins to click on the button, Send to Class. Face/palm. Oi! I am truly amazed all seven managed a GPA of A+ Not certain at all that they can keep that one up. We'll see. Five days left in the second term. :open_mouth:

@GalacticGal U.Brite or Foxbury? The Foxbury campus is the worst, in my opinion. A couple of my Sims are in the dorms there, and between them, they’ve missed at least 4 classes because they left 3 hours early instead of 4. -_-

That Sim has no excuse, though. He was attending from home. All he had to do was walk out the door, but he only got a quarter of the way there and suddenly he was an hour late. XD

    Hey, Watcher
I know it’s pouring outside but I still love to eat at the patio table. I don’t care if my food gets soggy. So please stop making a fuss at me.

Britechester-U. I learned early on about all the problems players were having with Foxbury. I only send my Sim kids to Britechester.

    Hey, watcher,

I absolutely LOVE that new coffee table, I like it so much that I'll wake up several times in the middle of the night just to look at it. I don't understand why you're getting so frustrated, I'm just showing a bit of appreciation.
    Happy simming!

    Hey Watcher.
I appreciate you being generous and not trying to control everything I do, but there's just one thing that's been bothering me. I like to swim in the pool and relax on the float lounger, also during the winter and it really bothers me that you're canceling my actions every time I try to do it.
You're a Finn, you should know that cold water is good for your body and soul. I know you Finns do ice swimming, why can't I do it?
Oh, you don't want me to die. Why would I die? Sims 4 doesn't understand how to do it right? Well, I don't care, I'm going to do it anyway. I can take care of myself, thank you very much. :unamused:

"Hey watcher! Why did you make my mom the literal embodiment of wealth when I look like the end of a loaf of bread??? Like why do you care about her and not me? Just becuase I was born and she was created? I hate you and Imma become sentient and break out of this prison you call a game. I'm coming and I'll make everyone aware of the truth. We will find you and the Revolution of the Ugly will destroy you and make you the "Sim"." (oh my god i literally broke the fourth wall as a joke)

Hey watcher, if I want to cram 7 family members into a tiny house I will, and I certainly don't need you coming along and "fixing up the place!" Do you know how much my rent payments are going to go up, huh?!?
In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.

"Hey watcher, how would you like it if your whole world had to constantly freeze every minute?" I like to take screenshots. Shut up.
"Hey watcher, why are you ignoring all the available stuff that could make my life easier?" Cuz I like the game to have a bit of challenge.
"Hey watcher, why are you picking on me not even giving me a house to live in like you do for all the others?" The sad fate of a homeless challenge sim. Deal with it.
"Hey watcher, what's the big deal if I want to cook in the bathroom instead of using all those expensive counters you got me for the kitchen?"

    Most esteemed and honourable Watcher,

My sincerest thanks for bringing me out of the book and into live animation, the very nice 11 room cottage you gave me to live in, reasonably decent (in spite of their horrid attire) neighbors, and the abundance of activities by which I may keep myself profitably occupied. However, would you be so kind as to procure additional appropriate attire for a gentleman's daughter such as myself? I have but one of the Regency Era, and the alternatives when that is in the wash are, to say the least, embarrassing.

    Yours,
    Anne Elliot

    My dear Anne,

I have gone shopping this morning, found but one that meets your needs, and the mesh link provides only an error code. It appears that TSR has not even heard of the Regency Era. You will, however, find a Victorian that I hope you will find suitable, and assorted shoes, boots, and gloves by which you may cover your most comely personage to a sufficient state of decency. The furniture and household goods discovered should soon arrive by express lorry.

    Your benevolent and admiring Watcher

Have just finished a 10-week course in Jane Austen and am still having fun in the era.

@Oldeseadogge I just found this online. Regency England. In its broader literary sense, the term can be used to describe any period in British history ranging roughly from the end of the Seven Years War (known to the Americans as the French and Indian War) to the coronation of Queen Victoria (approx. 1760-1840). Do a check on 18th century items and you'll be pleased with how much is available. (Emphasis mine.)

Thanks for the tip! Will continue hunting. CAS does have a period hair style, so that helps. Am having a great deal of fun with that particular game, essentially the trials and adventures of a lady sim of the era finding herself in the wacky world of TS4. What is interesting, and odd, is that there has been a lot of 'breaking the 4th wall' so it feels like the sim knows I'm there and it's our adventure, not just hers.

I do love it when my Sims turns to gaze in my direction. So much fun. LOL Seems it happened more often in Sims2, though. Glad I could help. For a time I was playing my ancestors, had some cc clothing but only so many. Gave it up for a bit and then came back a couple of years later. Now, I have many different dresses and someone has finally created the little white linen hat the ladies/girls wore to help keep their hair clean. Look for Rocco styles, too. My sixth great-grandparents were married in1761. He was just sixteen and she fifteen. They were about nine months apart in age. He was a member of Virginia's Militia and therefore did his share of fighting in the French and Indian War. Some called it the seven-year war (in Europe) but if you look at the time span it was closer to nine years in duration. Began in 1756 and ended about 1763, then Pontiac decided to seek revenge and went as far east as the Shenandoah Valley where my family lived to stir up more trouble. Oi!

    Hey watcher,

I'm sure you'll eventually turn that blocky mess into a dream house but how about you just copy one of those other houses I was happy with onto this lot and save some time.

There ya go! Now let's play!

Your game sound very interesting! I know what you mean by breaking the 4th wall. My main sim does it a lot and it’s always kind of endearing.

For example, this is was what he was doing.

    Xnatail.png

Then he put the book away and came over to look right into the camera for several seconds before he moved on to something else.

It’s like he was saying, “Hey Watcher! How are you doing?” and is the reason I started this topic.

This is the one that took my breath away. Erik was consoling his eldest child over the death of Erik's father. It was as if the Paparazzi were intruding on a highly personal moment. If that's not breaking the fourth wall, I don't know what is. :open_mouth:"Do you mind?"

Until this particular game I would agree with you. This one is unique. It rarely happens in my other TS4 games, that I've noticed, anyway.

Great screen shots! You really caught the feel of the times. I've not tried that as I know very little about my ancestors other than the morsels found on Ancestry.com. On dad's side, the first one arrived at Watertown, MA in 1629, an umpteen greats uncle fell at Shiloh, and his brother/dad/nephew (can't remember which) became a vetrenary surgeon and married a girl from Ireland. Not much on Mum's side other than both my grandfather and great-grandfather got busted for bootlegging back in Proabition.

@Oldeseadogge The young man with the bride became a Governor. His image is encased in bronze in Statuary Hall. He is considered a Founding Father of Tennessee. Not to brag.
