Yo, anyone here gonna watch Spider-man: No Way Home?? :O :O
I plan to pay to stream it at home rather than go into a packed theater, even though that movie could get me to even want to go into a packed theater. I'm psyched about it!
Nice ciabatta btw. I made some yeast-raised cinnamon rolls with gooey icing today but didn't take photos.
I thought you were everyone's fav, DeKay. Aren't you like the dorm mother of the forum, second only to Rosemow?
Haha, maybe once upon a time, yes, when I was more active in the Gen discussion. 🤣 But now, I'm only more known to the very few people who hang out in the Off topic section. 🙃
hey, I want to get to know yall so making this, hope your well? I'm ellie im annoying haha
Hello 👋.
I love building in The Sims. Have you tried any of the build challenges? The no mistake build is really hard 😂 🤦🏼♂️.
Or do you prefer live mode and seeing what Sims get up to?
The only build challenge I've done (and It wasn't an official one, just one I challenged myself with) was to see how small a house I could make that still allowed a Sim to meet all their basic needs. It was 4X4 but being that small with just basegame meant using bb.moveobjects so I could have a bathroom smaller than 4 tiles with a diagonal door. Without the basegame restriction, I could get by without an indoor toilet by having a special shrubbery for the purpose, and really with grills and coolers you can get by without a kitchen, but for my challenge it was to see how small I could get meeting all needs *indoors*.
I have enjoyed getting absorbed into a build, but building would mean nothing without gameplay, for me. And if you don't play your build, you can't test it to see if everything really works and is accessible, which is why I rarely download anything from the gallery these days, because too many people will build things that look nice on the surface, but once you try to play them, you find out every surface is clogged with clutter you have to remove, and the layout is bad, limits traffic flow and creates bottlenecks.
But there are some creators I follow who consistently turn out great builds that are tastefully done (for my taste) and also well-constructed for gameplay and don't need remodeling after placing.
