Sims choose single bed instead of chairs and armchairs, so they go with the book into the farest room with a single bed, instead of sit down in their own room to read.
Our mod has been broken since CoL patch, please make sure to remove it until we've updated it.
@2facedwifey - I'm not certain what cc is causing you to have issues but if it is not obvious, a 50/50 is generally the best way to figure out what is causing the issue. I know it is a pain as I've done many of them.
FYI - Novvvas is a Russian creator who makes amazing content. She doesn't make mods, just cc. She does offer the occasional set through her Ko-fi page as donation items but they are released for free within 3-4 weeks. Her original Tumblr was deleted and she may be found at her new Tumblr:

Wow, that's really cool to have been in the actual show! I met my husband in high school Theatre Class years ago. We've been together ever since. He doesn't even mind that I love Spock to pieces. LOL

Anybody who also use chingyu123 100base game pack,
I use chingyu_casVer_BasicTraits_V2.2.package but traits are in the rewards menu too! Actually 42 of them. I have never used reward version and it worked fine until 2.2.
(I also use chingyu's Custom Traits in Club Filter v15, Add Traits menu, More Traits Mod Option 7)
Is it me or is it the mod's fault?

Could someone please let the creator who has the Around the Sims 4 site know that the tiny homes cabinets don't have the option for the different shaped cabinets?

If you mean the wall cabinets, they are not supposed to have different parts. She only made the small version. Otherwise, if it's an option for you, she also accepts asks on tumblr at https://aroundthesims.tumblr.com/
About the Next Update
The patch Tuesday is known to include a player-interactive story-progression-like system called Neighborhood Stories. This patch will break many UI mods. It might break many other mods, including mods that control nonplayed Sims, such as MC Command Centre. Modders know to expect this, but please remember that mod updates can be complex and require testing. In addition, not all modders have time available at players' convenience; some are at work or in the middle of exam season. Others, like LittleMsSam, have to priorities themselves right now, for personal reasons. Personally, I'm making a new save that I plan to play mod-free, at least for a while. (Seems like a good time to turn aging on and dip my toes back into some legacy-like play!) I advise all of you who normally rely on mods for your gameplay to back up your saves, move your Mods folder elsewhere, start a temporary/new save, and play vanilla for a bit.

See page 1 for what's known broken & updated. Delete localthumbcache as well (it's game memory that can accumulate and get glitchy, though that's not common like it used to be). Test to see if it's a mod (see page 1 for how). If you need help with that, please go to a support server on Discord. If not - if updating mods, deleting localthumbcache, and testing mods still leaves the problem in place - it's a game issue. Head over to AHQ for support. This isn't a support thread.
