Hello everyone!
So I've been reading old surveys and noticed that the team put theme parks several times in these surveys such as amusement parks, water parks, carnivals. I don't know if something around that idea could come but I kinda hope it could. Carnivals are the ones I easily picture as they could easily add lots of gameplay: Circus related careers (clowns, magicians, acrobats, jugglers); Divination Arts (Tarot, chiromancy, Bibliomancy, radiestesia, etc...) that could be a new skill (divination skill); Talismanic Arts; Amusement rides+ carrousels; Puppeteers+ puppets (different from kids room stuff); stalls, games and booths...
What do you think?

Me too, but I really don't know how they would implement them: a lot or an interactive neighbourhood?
Musts for me:
Rollercoaster with several themes of course, as well as parts to make your own. This would be the "star" of the pack so to speak.
Ferris Wheel - after rollercoasters the most recognizable theme park ride.
Carousel also with several themes- another hugely prominent and ride that everyone's familiar with.
Those are the big three. Personally I'd love to see the below, but some of these would have to be cut for GP.
Tilt-A-Whirl - this is my personal favorite ride, and seems to be fairly popular.
Bumper Cars - also a very popular ride.
Swings - some type of swing ride, the type that goes in a circle, spins the Sims around.
Scrambler (also known as many other names but this is the most common in the US) - hard to describe but easy to google.
Several water type rides - one that's more "slide" oriented and one that's more "boat/raft down a river" oriented.
Teacups (also known as "It's a Small World") - a more relaxed, slower ride.
"The Drop" - also known by many names, the ride that you get on a platform that takes you way up in the sky and then drops you at a fast pace (though I don't know how this would work with lot height limitations in the game.)
Obviously these would have to all be scaled down a bit but I would hope we could at least get 2-4 Sims in each type of ride at one time. Some would be okay on by yourself though, but some, half the fun is when you're goofing around with friends/family/other people (Bumper Cars, Tilt-A-Whirl)
I'd also love to see midway games and a house of mirrors.
Batuu is a theme park: The rides are the different space ships, the games also depends on the faction you play in (sabacc and lightsaber/training with droids) and Dj R-3X is also a sort of attraction and finally there's a souvenir shop!
Of course it's not the classic theme park we are used too...that's why another more generic theme park in the game would be refreshing.

I do hope they will make it where each ride and booth, and hotel is separate so we can make our own amusement parks, hotels, and casino’s…… I hope it’s not like snowy escape where all the activities are tied to the one world. That way there could be a lot of them on the gallery.
In Sims Mobile the amusement park feature comes with a carousel, roller coaster, ferris wheel, a bounce house, a juggling stage, and carnival stalls (kissing booth, fortune teller, high striker), and popcorn & cotton candy stands.
I can see similar features coming to TS4 in a game pack. There could also be a new juggling skill to go with the juggling stage.
Thanks for sharing! I've been wanting theme parks/carnivals forever and I don't play the mobile games so I didn't know all that. Seems pretty promising then for Sims 4. Fingers crossed!
I think a Themepark Pack would be an expansion pack. Gamepacks will probably be limited to Refreshes now.
Definitely a game pack or bigger but not a stuff pack....there is too much to put in such a theme
Yes, if Snowy Escape and Island Living are Expansions, Theme Park is definitely worth an Expansion Pack development
