For me, it's been the first time in a while to pull up Sims... @Silverofdreams30 I've been playing SWTOR too much. Now that Double XP is over...(it was over on the 2nd of November, but haven't felt the urge...).
Made a new toon in SWTOR. Anyone who has done the Sith Inquisitor storyline will remember her. Poor Khem Val (my Sith Inquisitor's Dashade) "You have done this to torment me, Little Sith..."
...so this is the first time I've actually pulled up Sims 3 in over a month.

Meet Laura Baxter. She loves the outdoors, has a green thumb, and is a natural gatherer. She's also fairly handy and an angler, but her main love is gardening. (I cheated to give her level 7 gardening... so she could plant everything right away )
This is Laura's wife, Natalie. Natalie is a wannabe journalist.
This is their friend, Hugh Jones. He wishes to be an astronaut.
This is Hugh's wife Katherine. She has no real career ambition, but she does enjoy bot-building and advanced technology.
Almost as soon as they moved into their house in Lunar Lakes, Laura went to acquire some plants and began her garden.
Katherine had heard tell of a mysterious 'portal' somewhere. It turned out to be located in a small park, that was otherwise empty aside from a few trees and a lone bench. She stepped forward to investigate the portal, and was immediately almost blinded when it lit up.
Katherine was surprised to see a man with blue hair step out of the portal.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Emit Relevart," he said. "I bring you the Time Almanac. It will be your guide to the future. Use it well."
"Umm... okay..." Katherine replied.
Katherine stepped forward into the portal and felt herself being yanked forwards. Her surroundings were a blur of colour. Before long, however, she'd come to a halt and was stepping out of the portal.
"Oh! Wow! This must be the future!" she smiled, looking around. The almanac told her that she was somewhere called Oasis Landing.
She immediately went to take a space training class at the observatory, travelling there in a taxi that seemed to be gliding above the ground. This is so cool, she thought. She couldn't wait to tell Hugh, Natalie and Laura about this place. Perhaps they could all come together sometime.
Katherine had loved learning about advanced technology, and was intrigued by the lifts at the base camp. Unfortunately, she was still only an advanced tech beginner, and got a rude awakening when she left the lift.
"Ugh! That was painful!" she groaned. "I need a little more practise."
Armed with some bot-building books she had bought at the bookstore, she decided to head home.
Her husband Hugh, meanwhile, decided to head to the gym; one needed to be physically fit in order to become an astronaut.
After practising her writing skills for a bit, Natalie spent a little time with her wife.
Natalie wished she could start a family, although she knew that it would be a little trickier for her and Laura than for a heterosexual couple. Aside from the usual option of adoption, she discovered that it was apparently possible to engineer a baby, who would be genetically related to both her and Laura. It cost 5000 Simoleons, though, which was money she did not have.
"Ah well," she muttered, "better start saving up. And it gives me time to get more settled in my career."
Katherine took it upon herself to make a dinner of autumn salad that evening. No one in the household was naturally good at cooking; Katherine hoped to one day build a Plumbot who could serve as the family chef.
The next day, Katherine visited the bot emporium which had recently opened in the town. After inspecting a few Plumbots for sale, she realised that it would be cheaper to construct her own.
Later that evening, the three women sat down to watch TV.
"Funny how Halls of History just seems to show World War Two documentaries," Natalie said.
"Mmm," Laura agreed. "Sure there's footage of the Second World War, but surely they can do reenactments for other periods?"
"It's still fascinating, though," Katherine said.
Having learned of Katherine's Plumbot ambitions and done a little research, Laura purchased some crystal flowers (spot which ones she got from the bot emporium versus which ones came from buydebug ) She resolved to spend a little time each day imbuing the flowers with various emotions.

I had a little issue with the household not going to work (Natalie in journalism, Hugh in the military and Laura in science) so I had to do "Fix Homeworld" with Debug Enabler. The game also stopped working as I was quitting, but it had already saved so no harm done.
And then one sim in the town kept getting trapped... constantly! That went on my nerves and i decided to do a Master Controller' Reset Everything and bam... my sim that has been for almost 2 weeks in the boarding school also was reset. I didn't remember about her and was impulsive... and now she's back home without the school perks, without any skill development, nothing... ahhh i'm going to lay down now, not playing anymore today
I've just loaded the game and realized that even having interrupted my sim's stay in the boarding school she did developed some skills: she's now level 2 in painting and level 1 in photography! Happy to realize she did some progress and it wasn't all lost time...
Currently on a mini break for a few days, and figured out a way of keeping my Store Content installed (I have to make sure everything is downloaded and installed before I play). The roof for the extension is in place, now the builders are putting the tiles on before the electricians and plumbers arrive. Hopefully the extension should be done by the New Year, so hopefully soon I should get my own room
Katherine just got the wish to be given the Pioneer of Plumbotics statue… which is worth 20,000 Lifetime Happiness points! I’d say that’s one wish worth trying to achieve! She’d better get cracking on building a Plumbot!
@texxx78 Good to hear. You can change skill levels under MC Advanced and school performance under MC Intermediate/Career, if you need it.
A town reset is best done after saving and if the game hasn't been running for a long session yet. It's also advisable to save a couple minutes afterwards, as the game tends to become unstable after a reset. All in separate saves.

@Karritz Thanks, I also hope I get away without the wound infecting. Great pics. Those huge gardens still amaze me. I thought the indoor sprinkler issue had been patched, or is it just a basement thing? I don't think I had any issues with sprinklers not working on the ITF mats.
@Brandontaylor Oh, I certainly forgot the name of the yodeling cowboy. We kids just played that record as a joke .
@Turjan lots of people tell me sprinklers are fixed and they now work indoors. My sprinklers don't seem to have got the message. I think a mod might be involved in the fix and I'm pretty sure I have it. I haven't tested to see if my sprinklers work indoors above basement level, but they don't work in my basements.
@texxx78 I've never uploaded to the exchange in any game, ones partially since all my houses ended up looking like a textureless box with doors. (Don't look at my Sims 1 PS2 saves if you somehow find my memory card!) and mostly since I always had issues with the exchange deleting installed content, I can upload it directly as a file somewhere though.
The family now has a Plumbot! I tried to call her Lisa, but messed up and now it’s called “Lisac” It has the Limitless Learning chip and is already level 7 in martial arts. Katherine also managed to buy a Sentience chip from the bot emporium I placed in Lunar Lakes! I haven’t installed it yet, I’m planning to wait until Katherine is level 10 in bot building and she’s upgraded Lisa (I’m ignoring the rogue ‘c’) to Future Tech quality, which are the requirements for the Pioneer of Plumbotics statue. Katherine’s LTW is “More than a Machine”, for which she needs to achieve level 10 bot building and give a Plumbot Sentience.
I know I’ve been talking more about Katherine than the others, that’s mainly because she’s unemployed right now and so I have to control her during the day.
The household has almost earned enough money to allow Laura and Natalie to engineer a baby! That will be fun.
Proper update to come later, but Laura and Natalie are now parents to a little boy, Theo! He’s got the surname Baxter for now but I’ll change it to Baxter-Price when he’s older.
Oh, and Hugh and Katherine are due to become parents soon too…
Lisa quickly achieved the Timber Terminator skill challenge for martial arts, and now finds gems when breaking space rocks. She’s already found two Soulpeace gems, hopefully soon she’ll find some Tiberium and the household finances will increase. Having a Plumbot do martial arts has been a great idea, since she never gets exhausted or smelly, although she needs an occasional tuneup and recharge. I’d like to get her the Solar Power trait chip so she can recharge whilst outside, collecting all those gems.
The family's dog met the Grim Reaper But Grim was so nice that it wasn't so hard to watch...
Monica came back from the Le Fromage arts boarding school sooner than she should (thanks to one mistake i made) but she developed the photography skill (level 1) and the painting skill (level 2). I was expecting her to get a trait too, but the rough interruption made my plans fail Anyway not all the time she spent there was lost.
Thanks to Theron's alchemy ability he could use an elixir to be instantly BFF with his boss It helped him to get to level 9 in the criminal carrer (when he joined the family he was already level 7).
Olivia wants to get a degree in science so she started developing her logic skill. I think i'll make her learn the science degree later...
Valeria met Theron's ex-wife and things didn't end well She didn't know that he had an ex-wife and two sons!! Neither did i!! He never thinks of them...
Anyway Valeria defended herself and could understand why Theron left and forgot her... Such an agressive woman! She went home and all she wanted was a romantic night with her husband. The next day Valeria found out that she was pregnant again! Just 3 days away from being an elder...
Meanwhile, Olivia and Monica aged up to teens. Monica looks very much like her mother, only more cute! But i kind think Olivia is cute too
Valeria had another pair of twins! She has now 4 girls. Meet Felicity and Lucy! In this save my sims only had twins... Valeria herself has a twin brother.
Olivia is a loner, she's got almost no friends... She takes her baby sisters wherever she goes though...
Monica is more the hard working kind (she's a workaholic). She works hard in school, always does her homework, has a part time job and is already learning to drive in the family's new (amazing!) car...
With two more kids born, i'll have to wait a good time to know who's going to be the next heir... Although when babies age to toddlers i can get an idea of how they'll look i think i'll wait untill the youngers age to kids...
In this episode only one of the three new couples go on dates together and they eventually manage to get engaged. The wedding will be early in episode 40.
I added the brain enhancing machine to the household and a couple of sims took advantage of it for their own purposes. Since a lot of the household members will be returning the Cake Island relatively early in episode 40 I decided it was time to operate on Clara's traits and she is finally rid of that annoying unstable trait.
Some of the Imaginary Friends Made Real have wishes to grow a forbidden fruit. So far two of them have planted their forbidden fruit seeds and one of them has picked himself a plant sim baby boy named Jacob. The other, planted by the evil Lucy, will be picked in the next episode. I haven't played forward so have no idea what'll happen when the time comes to pick it.
Evil Klaus, the new household member has begun learning some skills and doing a bit of reading. He seems to be getting along well with a few of the female imaginary friends. I discovered his lifetime wish is Master Romancer so that'll be why he's got an eye for the ladies. I haven't seen any action yet.
There is a mass outing to the casino where most of the machines and the three types of table (poker, blackjack and roulette) are used by various household members.
Jack and Joni spend time exploring the Magic Gnome's Magical Treasure Park. They ride the roller coaster and balloon. They explore a mysterious little building that is full of mirrors and traps and holes in the floor. Jack finds a magic mirror and has a long chat with it while Joni explores the holes in the floor.
There is plenty going on with this episode. I hope you enjoy it.
Rachel: Oh William...did I tell you...
William: Whatever it is, you did and yes you still have to go.
Rachel: Darn it.
Carlton: William, you look
William: Nice? Thank you Carlton and no you still can't go.
William: Now where are those tickets....
Denise: You lost them, didn't you?
William: No, I know where they are..They are in my office desk...downtown
Denise: Of course they are.
Rachel: No tickets? That means we can't go...darn..

William: Yes, lets go.

William: You can get up Rachel, its over.
Rachel: The ground moved....
William: You're fine, its over please get up.
Rachel: I'm not fine...the ground moved!
William: It was just a small one...please get up.
Rachel: I wanna go back to philly, where the ground stays still
and the people move.
William: Aww, Rachel, your fine...Its over..
William: Would it help if I told you, I think you look really nice.
Rachel: Pink's not really my color, but thanks!
William: I'm hungry, let's go.

Rachel: I'm Rachel, and that's very nice of you, thank you.

with you.

In the last three months…back at the Winter Festival...
After a long cuddle and a few soothing words from Abigail, the pain from Sebastian’s crash landing subsided. There wasn’t anything his girl couldn’t make better for him.
“I swear someday I am going to learn how to heal people through my magic,” Abigail told him.
“That would be amazing babe!”
“Put Harvey out of business...,” Sam chortled, mostly joking.
“No,” Abigail kindly objected. “I could never do that to him.”
“Maybe you could have a partnership with him,” Sebastian suggested. “Modern medicine combined with magic. That would be pretty sweet actually.”
“Yeah,” she agreed, looking thoughtful. “Harvey might think so too. I’ll have to approach him about it someday...when I master that kind of magic of course.” After being under the tutelage of my dad, she grinned.
“Hey,” Sebastian addressed them both, standing up from the bench. “Let’s see if we can catch some snowflakes on our tongues! There’s so many falling right now…”
“I’m down with that! Come on Sam!”
When that got boring, the three took notice of a very small “pond” off to the side of them.
“That’s too small to be a pond,” Sam noted. “It’s gotta be a puddle that froze over from all that rain we got at the end of Fall.”
The couple shrugged.
“Dare me to walk on it?”
Just when he asked that, the sun began to peek through the thick clouds, illuminating the entire area and warming it up a touch. The snowfall even slowed.
“Wow,” Abigail admired. “That’s nice. Now we can see better and not feel so cold!”
Little did she know that while her attention was drawn to the sudden change in weather, Sebastian and Sam were silently planning something through their eyes and nodding at each other.
“On the other hand,” Sam countered to his previous question, “we could just toss Abby onto it and that will let us know pretty quickly if it’s frozen or not.”
“What?” the girl asked, but before she knew it, Sam grabbed her by the arms while Sebastian gripped her ankles. She screamed, which caught the attention of Harvey and Penny nearby.
“HEY! PUT ME DOWN! Oh my gosh! SAM DON’T YOU EVEN!” she yelled at him.
Sam just laughed.
“SEB!”
“I dunno...sounds like a good idea to me,” he answered her with a wink, the two beginning to swing her back and forth to gain some force.
“Noooo!” she cried through a grin, playing along. “You wouldn’t!”
“Oh yes we would!”
“No! Ahh!” she squealed this time, trying to wriggle out of their grasp. “My stomach tickles! Eeek! Help me! Someone save me since my boyfriend won’t!”
“Don’t you two dare!” Harvey sternly addressed, coming onto the scene.
“Chill out Harvey,” Sebastian said under a chuckle, “we’re just horsing around. Do you think I’d actually throw my girl onto a frozen pond?”
“Sometimes I don’t know what to expect from you two…,” came the answer.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Sam asked in a tone of offense.
But Sebastian ignored it. “We’re just teasing! Cause Abby is super fun to tease.”
“It’s true Harvey,” the hanging girl admitted, “they find opportunities to tease me all the time, but thank you for coming to my rescue anyway.”
Penny giggled.
Harvey just shook his head with a sigh.
Sebastian soon carried Abigail away from the pond - Sam following - giving her a few kisses as he did.
“You know I would never, ever do something like that right?” he asked while setting her down.
“Yes,” she lovingly grinned, then put on a serious look. “But you’re gonna have to be extra careful now since you know I’m a witch and if you do anything to hurt or anger me I can just throw a nasty spell at you like THIS!”
Sebastian didn’t have any time to react before he was floating in the air, a look of utter fear written all over his face. Sam laughed out loud.
Little did Sebastian know that all she cast on him was a “love charm,” but no matter. Two could play at the teasing game. Sam’s guffaw was beginning to annoy her.
“Oh you think that’s funny, pretty boy? The same applies to you!” She cast her hands towards him.
“Wait, wha--”
Sam’s arms flailed around as the magic elevated his body, did its work, then set him down. Abigail suppressed a laugh.
“What did you do to me!?”
“Oh you’re fine...it’s just a simple ‘good luck’ charm. But remember, that was a warning spell. Next time it might not be something pleasant,” she winked.
“A good luck charm? Sweet!” I sure could use some luck… He couldn’t deny thinking about Haley in that moment.
“So...what was it you cast on Seb then?” he asked.
“Oh my dearest Abigail,” came the voice of his best friend, in a higher and airy tone than usual, with his hands clasped upon his heart. “My heart beats wildly for you my bonny, purple-haired, witch...it pines for you when you are not in my arms.”
“Oh puleeeeze…,” Sam whispered with an eye roll. Since when did he turn so sappy?
“Prithee warm my heart with your presence my dearest. It grows colder by the minute in this frozen landscape; I just cannot bear it! Come to me my love. Oh prithee come to me!”
“Oh Seb,” Abigail lovingly chuckled, holding a hand to her heart, “this is so not you...and I’m not sure if I really care for it...but of course I will come to you!” And with that she pulled him into a deep and passionate kiss. True love's kiss would break the love charm.
"Oh, I see," Sam realized.
As soon as moans started being expressed, he felt all the more uncomfortable being around the kiss. “Alright you two, get a room.”
Meanwhile, shivering Elliott and Leah hurried over to the concession stand to order some hot cocoa.
“It’s so cute to watch the ‘kids’ play, isn’t it?” she joked again with Elliott as they watched and sipped.
“Sure is,” he replied, “though I’d prefer to be watching our own children…”
“Oh you…I know.” She sighed. “Someday.” Hopefully soon...back home.
They chuckled watching Alex and Haley humorously conversing with an android security guard. It was apparent the two were having some crazy fun messing with it.
Some happy voices could be heard from behind them as Sebastian, Sam, and Abigail made snow angels.
And to the right of them was Harvey, Penny, Shane, and Emily engaging in an intense snowball battle.
“Oooh! Did you see Penny whack Shane with that one?” Leah grinned. “Sounded like he got the wind knocked out of him.”
“I did!” Elliott gaped. His heart thumped nervously at the sight for some reason, but he quickly figured out why. “I shudder to think how the old Shane would’ve reacted to that…”
“Pfft! She wouldn’t be anywhere near the old Shane, let alone chuck a snowball at him!”
“True.”
“Oh you’re gonna pay for that one Penny…,” Shane teased, raising his snowball.
He felt it was a pretty good launch.
“Ha! Missed me!”
Da’mmit. Next thing he knew Penny was chucking one back at him. He dodged it just in time.
“Not this time girl!”
“Aww…,” Penny whimpered, but smiled.
Harvey knocked Emily down onto her bum with a good throw…
...which she was not happy about so she fired the biggest snowball she had back at him.
A perfect hit! Though she was hoping it would have knocked him down onto his bum too.
“Get ‘im babe,” Shane winked at her.
The activities caused many of them to get wet, which along with the freezing air, chilled them to the bone. Sniffles could be heard left and right. Harvey suggested they all sit down by the fire pits to warm up and relax. No one opposed to that; in fact it sounded downright divine!
“Hurry it up Sam!” Abigail ordered through chattering teeth, shivering so much that she was finding it a struggle just to sit down.
“The fire won’t freaking start!” he replied in frustration. “The kindling in here su’cks!”
“I’ll go look for some better kindling,” Maru offered. “I think I saw a pile of old grass clippings next to the dumpster that haven’t been touched by the snow.” She quickly went to go fetch some.
“Thanks Maru.”
They had a roaring little fire going in no time. The warmth it provided soothed the sting of the cold and they were able to relax and carry on some pleasant conversation with each other.
Sam and Haley talked and laughed hysterically while the same went on between Alex and Maru. The four seemed completely oblivious to Abigail and Sebastian's presence. It caused the couple to shoot some curious glances at each other as they listened.
Back at the other fire pit, Shane returned to the group from the concession stand and told them they had marshmallows for roasting. “I grabbed a bag for all of us and some sticks. So whenever you all feel like roasting some," he raised the bag, "here they are,” and placed it down beside him. “I’m roasting mine now.”
“That was sweet of you Shane,” Emily thanked with a smile.
“Yes, thank you Shane,” Penny added. “Those smell good already.”
“You’re welcome. Too bad they didn’t have the fixings for s’mores…”
“Maybe they don’t know what s’mores are in this world,” Harvey expressed.
“If so they don’t know what they’re missing,” Leah stated, making everyone nod in unison.
Eventually they all started roasting marshmallows, except for Leah and Harvey who stood up to warm their hands and bottom.
“Hey there cute tushie,” Penny whispered to Harvey with a smirk.
Shane overheard and shook his head while saying, “Gross!”
“Hey!” Sam called from the other group. “You guys got marshmallows? Can we have some?”
Now everyone in the other group was roasting marshmallows as well, except Alex and Maru who got up at the same time to warm their hands before doing the same.
“You really have the worst gloves in the world there dontcha?” he asked.
“I do. They must be formal gloves or something. Better than nothing.” She shrugged.
“True.”
He wanted to offer his gloves to her, but then he would be left without. I know my hands won’t fit in those awful, girly gloves! Even if I wanted them to wear them!
Once everyone was all warmed up, they headed right back to the festivities. Harvey stayed at the fire pit with Penny, of course, as she was still enjoying some marshmallows.
“You want another one?” she offered him.
“No thanks. I’m alright.” He smiled, then sighed as he watched the others disappear into the various different areas of the festival.
“Life here has been going so well for all of us lately, and it’s truly been wonderful,” he expressed, leading into a foreboding tone. “But why can’t I shake the feeling that this is the calm before the storm…”
Penny finished chewing before answering. “I don’t think that's the case,” she comforted. “I think this is the calm that is leading us right into completing the quest and transporting home.” She always tried to think positively since her panic attack to keep her worrisome thoughts away.
Harvey was trying to as well - and for the most part he felt the same way she did - but sometimes the weight of leadership makes it difficult to not consider all possible scenarios and outcomes. He still made a promise to bring all of them home safely and darn it he was going to hold true to that! But with such a promise, comes great responsibility. The kind a single man cannot bear alone. Cannot do alone. And sometimes things happen that are just out of the realm of his control. He knew it, but wasn’t quite willing to accept it.
“I hope you’re right,” he sighed.
Over at the snowboarding halfpipe, Shane and Emily stood before it for a moment, debating within themselves.
“I wanna give it a try so bad, but I’m kinda scared…,” Emily admitted.
“I’m a little nervous too,” Shane admitted also, but only ever to her. “I got into it for a bit when I was thirteen, but,” he paused, “I never kept up with it. Mostly cause I just...forgot about it…”
Emily knew his thoughts and rested her cheek on his shoulder.
“Let’s see how much I remember.”
“Okay, but please be careful,” she lovingly implored.
“I will,” he assured, giving her a peck on the lips.
As he ascended the ladder, Emily gave him a little cheer. “You got this babe!”
Shane took in a few breaths as he readied himself for take off. Alright, show Emily what ya got! It’ll come back to you, it always does. You DO got this! You’re not gonna crash. You never did before, cause you’re flippin’ awesome! Remember that! Plus you don’t want to give Harvey another reason to play doctor on you…, he ended with a sour look. “H**L no.” He shook his head to swish the thoughts away and took off with confidence.
He gained some good air on the first flip. Emily's dazzled heart fluttered.
“Oh yeah, I still got it.”
“WOO HOO! Look at you go Shane! WOO! You’re amazing!”
Having Emily as his cheerleader in life now, made it so much easier to succeed at everything.
One epic flip made Emily feel especially nervous. Oh Lord, please bless him to land safely. I don’t want my sweetheart getting hurt…
Sure enough Shane didn’t crash at all. A coincidence? Not at all.
It was high time for a meal, in Harvey, Penny, Sebastian, and Abigail’s minds, so they gathered at the concession stand to see what was available and sounded good to eat. The men let the ladies order first.
They sat at one of the tables underneath the pretty, lighted gazebo and enjoyed each other’s company while they ate.
Meanwhile all the others took to the skating rink. Maru still didn’t like how crowded it felt, but it was nice to converse and laugh with the others. It really made the activity all the more enjoyable.
Emily eventually found the courage to give snowboarding a try when Shane was done and did pretty well considering it was her first time. Shane was thoroughly impressed; and turned on. That’s my girl.
He might’ve said a similar prayer to Emily’s at one point as he watched her prepare to go airborne.
It was a sticky landing and scared Emily enough to decide that she was done. Shane was very proud of her for facing her fear and expressed as much.
When sunset arrived, Elliott and Leah left the rink to grab some dinner. Sam and Haley held hands and twirled together on the ice; practically lost in each other’s eyes. The smiles and laughs they were exchanging seemed extra bright and extra giddy to someone who was casually watching. Purely genuine. Haley even seemed like a completely different person; in a good way.
It caused Maru to pause and wonder for a moment, developing concern over how Alex might feel coming back from the bathroom and witnessing the two so close together like that. She knew Sam and Haley were hanging out more together - as she and Alex were too - but it was only because they were friends. However, watching those two looking at each other in such a way, she began to fear that maybe Haley was beginning to reciprocate Sam’s feelings for her. And that would not bode well for Alex.
Thankfully, Sam and Haley broke their twirl just before Alex came back to the rink.
“Hey babe,” Haley addressed him, coming to the edge of it. “I’m freezing my butt off! You wanna warm up with me by the fire pit?”
“Umm,” he paused, looking over at Maru. Maru wasn’t sure why he did. He wanted to skate some more, but remembered Maru saying earlier how much she wished the rink was bigger and he finally figured out what she had meant by that. He decided to allow her to have the rink all to herself. “Yeah, that sounds nice,” he replied to Haley. “I’m cold too.”
“I’m gonna go see what Seb and Abby are up to,” Sam told them while exiting the rink, ever staying nonchalant in their presence. “See ya guys!”
How nice, Maru thought with a grin, I finally have the rink all to myself.
It was mesmerizing watching Maru and all the spins she was doing, in the faint evening light with snowflakes falling all around her. Landing like an Olympic champion with such form and...beauty. Alex struggled to keep his attention on Haley while she gabbed on and on about photography and winter fashions. He couldn’t figure out why Maru was continually impressing him with her skills and he wished he’d seen all these amazing things about her long before now. Teenage Alex never knew what he’d been missing in his life.
Just then, one of Maru’s spins resulted in a failed landing and she expressed a yelp during the fall.
“Oh sh**!” Alex cried, bursting from his chair. “Maru fell on the ice!” He didn’t wait for Haley to respond, he bolted straight towards her.
“Hey!” Haley expressed, watching him go to Maru’s aid. She wanted to follow, but really didn’t feel like venturing away from the warm fire and getting her pants wet again. Alex has got this, she thought, turning back to the fire, he’s familiar with sports medicine I’m sure. She was surprised Harvey didn’t notice or hear Maru fall. That seemed strange. He always seems to have a radar for that sort of thing…
“You sure your ankle isn’t sprained?” Alex asked Maru as he tenderly helped her up onto her feet.
“Yes,” she smiled. “I’ve seen many a sprained ankle at the clinic. It just got twisted a little. It’s fine. Really.”
“Okaaay, if you say so. But I’m not going to let you go until the wobbling stops.” He chuckled.
“Okay,” she chuckled in return. Since when did he become so sweet?
“You skate like a champ you know,” he said after a minute of silence.
“Oh goodness, I wish!” she dismissed. “But thank you.”
“So did you take some ice skating lessons or do you geniuses not require lessons for anything?”
She laughed. “Sometimes we do, oftentimes we don’t.”
“Lucky a$$...”
“Excuse me?”
“Sorry, I didn’t mean that to be rude. It’s just…so not fair that the rest of us have to work super hard to be good at stuff in life while people like you easily ride through it.”
“Wellll…,” she paused, choosing her reaction carefully. “I know one thing that we all have to work super hard at to achieve; that doesn’t come easily to anyone.”
“What’s that?”
She held a grin for a long moment before replying, “The perfect body.”
There was the widened, handsome smile she was expecting. “Gah. Once again you got me. Good one!”
“Thank you.”
The two gazed into each other’s eyes for a moment, neither knowing how much the other’s heart was fluttering. When Maru realized Alex was giving her the same eyes Sam and Haley had given each other, her stomach tightened, her heart slowed, and the ache in her ankle suddenly returned.
She slipped and fell again, taking Alex with her. “Ow!” the man cried, falling hard on his bum.
“Oh gosh, I am SO sorry!” Maru expressed. “Are you okay? Do you need help up?”
“No, I got it. Plus I don’t want you putting any more weight on that questionable ankle.”
“Guess it might be a little sprained after all...huh?”
“Yeah most likely.”
He took her hands again once they stood to keep her from falling again. “How about we have Harvey take a look at it okay?”
“Yeah. Sounds good.” Whew…
Meanwhile while Haley was continuing to keep warm by the fire, Sam approached, turned around, and pointed his bum at it. “Ahhh,” he breathed. “That feels nice.”
Haley glanced down at his cute bottom with a smirk. “You have a really nice a$$.”
“Yeah…I know,” came the smug response.
For that, she spanked his bottom.
“Hey!” He broadly smiled at her.
“Keep your butt away from my fire! The last thing I need is for you to fart and shoot flames at my beautiful hair!”
“What!?” he laughed. “Did you actually just say that!?”
“Yeah! You guys are always full of farts and never hesitate to crank one off! Especially when you’re pointing your butt at something!”
Sam heartily laughed again, almost wishing he had a fart brewing and ready to go. Perhaps that would impress her, after getting over her disgust by it of course. That would be SO awesome!
After taking a quick look at Maru’s ankle, Harvey suggested that she head home and keep off of it for the rest of the evening. Everyone else decided it was a good time to head home as well. It was getting dark and very very cold.
“Before we go,” Harvey said, turning towards Penny. “Let’s get our picture taken together at the photo booth.”
“Alrighty.”
After getting two copies of their lovely photo, the suave android photographer reached over and lightly caressed Penny’s cheek, which made her feel horribly uncomfortable. “Such beauty Mademoiselle,” he complimented, “you would make a fine ice princess model for this year's Winter Festival. Would you like to be my ice princess?”
Penny shot Harvey a nervous, wide-eyed look of curiosity which made him shrug.
“Here is ze set,” the android pointed at a snowy backdrop in the corner, with magical snowflakes falling from the lights above. Then he pointed at the other corner of the booth where stood a tall and ornate partition. “There you will change into ze dress and crown and then moi will magically style your hair and take many pictures. How about it Mademoiselle?”
Penny looked at Harvey again and he could sense her shyness and reservation. “Only if you want you,” he said.
She thought for a moment. “Could I see the dress?” she asked the android.
“Oui, yes, yes!” And he went to fetch it.
When Penny’s eyes met with the dress, they lit up. It was the most stunning dress she ever laid eyes on. Harvey noticed and smiled.
“Twould make you feel like a princess, non?”
“Yeah,” she blushed. Oh how many times had she wanted to dress up like a princess as a little girl, even just for some photos, but her mom would never buy her clothes like that, or do those kinds of photos. She sighed as the painful memories stung for a bit.
Harvey could sense her thoughts and wrapped his arm around her. “I think you want to wear it,” he whispered in her ear.
“I really do.”
“Then I’ll be waiting right here for you. I can’t wait to see how you look in it.”
Penny grinned at him and happily went behind the partition to change.
“C’est génial! Magnifique!” the android expressed in between taking many pictures of Penny in front of the snowy backdrop. Harvey’s eyes sparkled at her graceful poses and exquisite beauty.
Penny’s favorite photo out of them all was of her holding out her hand to catch the perfect snowflake.
Harvey couldn’t help taking his love into his arms and kissing her dearly when the photoshoot was done.
“My gosh you’re one gorgeous ice princess!” he expressed, then kissed her again. “Mmm...
...If I could, I’d marry you right now!”
“Oh Harvey…”
“But no. I want you to have the wedding you’ve always dreamed of,” he said in a tone of promise as he stroked her curly hair. “Then you’ll be my princess.”
Her face beamed. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too.”
“Aww,” came the android’s reaction, holding his clasped hands to his cheeks. “Merci dear lovers. Merci Mademoiselle. Au revoir.”
“Au revoir to you sir,” Harvey and Penny said at the same time, which made them laugh.
What a fun-filled day it had been!

Today, Edward Birch finally graduated college. He got his diploma and left the University grounds with a smile on his face. He only finished his term with a C because things went south the second week (Again, ugh!), but that won't likely stop him on the field.
He's now a fully fletched scientist, and I've already put him to work over the "Elyixion Corporate Tower", a recently made Bridgeport building that includes an extensive laboratory and an office building belonging to the so-called Elyxion Corporation. This lab has a lot of university science objects, as well as the generations chemistry bench and a large garden. All a scientist needs to advance his research and skills. It's also stunning to look at (I'll post pictures over at my other thread). Edward works over at the Marine Science Research Facility during the day, and then spends his nights at the Corporate Tower, researching on his own projects.
In other news, Jebediah, Edward's father, has started frequenting the local bar. Waylon's haunt to be specific. If only he knew that this is where Crystal, his wife's deceased sister, started her rise to the top of the local music scene. There's even a picture of her behind the bar, from her young adult days.
And yes, this is probably the only picture of Jeb that I've ever posted.

Sadly no Tiberium for Lisa yet (officially changed her name with the bot workshop), but she did get a Pink Diamond! I’m already planning things for little Theo… I gave him the Eccentric trait, so he can become an inventor and hopefully construct a Simbot one day, which I’ve not done before! A heart-shaped pink diamond is one of the ingredients, so things are already coming together nicely.
Katherine and Hugh had a little girl, Amy. Perhaps she and Theo can get married one day… but they’re still only babies, I’m jumping ahead of myself here

Chapter 14.8 – Sunset Valley May 2022 – Spring Party Time
The first thought on Ingrids mind was of course making money from her political career, but today was Spring Festival Day, so there would be no opportunity to go to work.
She practiced making pancakes for breakfast with her new found cooking skills and they turned out pretty nice. Reading books can sometimes pay off..
Next she donated 250 simoleons to "The Rich" before heading to the park, hoping to spot a raccoon... Ingrid has inherited the good trait from her father, Jonathan, which has inherited it again from his mother, Lucie.
Ingrid lives right next door to the Reppe family, and we will visit them later for Kristina Reppes 13th birthday.
She didn't spot any raccoons at the park, but she quickly found the dance floor where she began flirting with Mikael Bastiansen.
Ranveig Motorsen (Oliver Freddys mother) eventually joins them at the dance floor, and I don't think I have ever seen her dance this lively before, but it pleases me to watch that she can escape her struggles for a while to let loose and have some fun.
Ahmed Mohamed also heads over to the dance floor, not to dance, but to give Ingrid flowers. She is very happy about the flowers, and they too flirt for a while. Ranveigs youngest son, Robert Bråge, is seen in the back left wearing a silver paper crown.
Ingrid doesn't get the hearts for him though, and he leaves after a while to tell a ghost story that no one goes to listen to. Mikael points at him and makes a joke about a marriage being underway, much to Ranveigs amusement. Ingrid wasn't all that entertained by the joke, though..
Though she didn't get the hearts for him, she has the attractive company moodlet, and she is jokingly expressing love for something. And a wise poet once said that a lot of truth is said in jest, but I think it is perhaps to early to conclude about anything... :P The attractive company moodlet could be because of Mikael, or both. I don't really know.
Anyway, they just keep dancing and dancing and dancing, until Ranveig eventually stops and gets a little nervous as she becomes aware that she is surrounded by a bit to many people for her liking... Ranveig is a bit of a loner by nature, something she has been ever since her school days, and prefers most of the time to stay at home watching tv or maintaining her chess skills...
She leaves the dance floor to stand alone in the shade for a while, before she feels content enough to return to the dancing.
Taking it a little slowly in the beginning, before gradually getting more energetic.
Ingrid leaves the dance floor for a while, to admire her own reflection in the mirror.
Ingrid returns and continues conversing with Mikael, while Ranveig leaves to practice more chess...
Ranveig captures and eats an imaginary fly, and once she realizes what she just did, she gets a little anxious and hopes nobody saw that one..
Ingrid keeps on dancing and dancing until a horse walks across the dance floor....
"That was much more interesting and bigger than a raccoon" she thinks and follows it to watch it.
She wants to pet it, but is a little to afraid to get close. This is the first time she has seen a horse... there didn't use to be wild horses in Sunset Valley before, so it must have migrated from somewhere..
After this its just more dancing, before she finally decides to head home, super excited about this day of dancing, flirting and horse spotting. She just had to stop to pick up a washing machine on the way home.. it could be a necessary item to have in ones home, maybe, to enjoy the smell and feeling of clean clothes, or something. :P

-- Part II – Kristinas birthday --
A little over halfway through the month it was time for a celebration, when Kristina Reppe, Inges younger sister, would have her last day as a child and make the transition into becoming a teenager...
Kristinas mother, Iselin, wasn't to good with making pancakes for breakfast.. maybe this explains Inges struggles with just the same a bit earlier.
Anyway, Iselin naturally wanted to throw a party for her daughter aging up, so she invited over her all her friends, as well as Ranveig and her sister Monica (because there were no more kids to invite, and they were the closest adult friends of the family).
Two unknown kids (to me) were the first to arrive, and the first known guest was Ranveigs sister, Monica. Typical of the Motorsen family, she came a bit warmly dressed for such a nice spring day...
The second known guest to arrive, was Kleopatra Motor-Karlsen, that had just recently aged up to a teenager herself. Ingrid was not invited, because she doesn't know the family well enough, and Kristinas older sister Inge could not attend because she is at university preparing for her exam...
Then came Ranveig, also in her outerwear, just like her sister, but she quickly changed to her formal wear, even though that wasn't necessary because the invitation said it was fine to come over in casual everyday clothes. :P
Bjørn-Yngve and Morten came shortly thereafter, and went outside to play tag.
Robert Bråge, Ranveigs son had come alongside his mother (there were so many kids, I forgot to get a screenshot of him), and Lise Veronica, the daughter of Monica, was the last to arrive.
Then it was time for the big moment, and Kristina would blow out the candles. Deep breath, and blow! Robert Bråge is now seen standing to the left.
And boom! There you go with fireworks and sparkles, Kristina is now a teenager! She inherited the family oriented trait from one of her grandparents, probably...
Kristina and Kleopatra, the towns freshest teenagers. Kristina displays her new personality trait already, immediately talking about babies...!
Kleopatra is not at all interested in babies. She thinks they're to noisy and smelly to have around the house...
Jarle goes upstairs to play be... juice pong with Monica, and I guess now I see where his oldest daughter got her juice pong skills from, as he throws the first ball right into Monicas mouth..
Blergh!
Later Jarle begins to flirt with Ranveig, which is at first not really popular with anyone..
Kristina goes upstairs to play a regular round of ping pong with Monica. Of course, no juice for the teenagers.
Jarle continues to flirt with Ranveig, and Ranveig eventually responds positively..
While the flirting goes on, laughter is heard from upstairs as some of the kids are there pillow fighting.
Jarle keeps on flirting with Ranveig, now right in front of both his wife and his daughter..
None of them like it very much, and even Monica, Ranveigs sister, shows up to display her disgust.. this makes Jarle leave, though he is still thinking about Ranveig...
Neither Iselin nor Kristina is mad with Ranveig, though. Its not her fault Jarle keeps flirting. Ranveig has shown that she likes it, but she never flirted back. Kristina begins to repeatledy engage Ranveig in a university mascot slogan dance... go gerbitz!

Kristina goes upstairs to play a game of ping pong with Kleopatra, and it looks like Kleopatra is winning this one, and does a corny victory dance. :P
The flirting commences and everyone has eventually began to ignore it and just let it happen...
Kristina goes for another game of ping pong with Kleopatra. She wants 'vengeance', and it looks like she is getting it this time.
Huzzah! After this Kleopatra decides it was a good party, and goes home, and the rest of the kids leave too, except for the Motorsen sisters, Ranveig and Monica, along with their kids, Robert Bråge and Lise Veronica...
Jarle keeps flirting with Ranveig, but eventually she decides she has had enough and says its probably time for her and her son to leave the party...
"Come along Robert, I think we're going home..."
The birthday child eventually changes into her sleepwear to go to bed, and the party is officially over.. it still takes a while for Monica to take the hint and leave, though...
But eventually she gets the point, and calls her daughter to head back to their own house, where her equally eternally faithful husband is probably waiting for her... Good night!
Lisa has found TWO rainbow gems and TWO pink diamonds. And now she's Solar Powered too, so she can recharge whilst searching for gems. Oh, and she found a Tiberium gem too! In fact, the only gems she hasn't found are fluorite, opal and moonstone.
Proper update to come later, but here are the kids!
Theo Baxter-Price has the Loves the Outdoors and Eccentric traits. He's got slightly lighter skin than Natalie. I was able to choose his hair and eye colour, plus his traits.
Amy Jones has the Brave and Athletic traits. She's got Hugh's skin and hair. She looks a little grumpy here, but she's got a similar face to Katherine.
@Karritz I took your advice to start an underground garden and it's going well! This is only a fraction of it. I'm planning for Laura to eventually grow every single plant in-game. I'll probably end up using buydebug to get some of the items.
@Lucy_Henley well done. I see you have her on the watering cans. The big watering and fertilizing things that came with the greenhouse set work in basements too, but they reserve space in the floor directly above for the light that flashes when they start to water. That means you have to decide what to do about it - choices I've come up with so far is leave out the floor above them, or use move objects on to place objects on the reserved squares. I don't think sims will walk on those squares either which can be confusing when they insist something is on the floor when you can clearly see there is nothing there.
These are the things I mean and can't remember the name of right now.

Meet Laura Baxter. She loves the outdoors, has a green thumb, and is a natural gatherer. She's also fairly handy and an angler, but her main love is gardening. (I cheated to give her level 7 gardening... so she could plant everything right away
This is Laura's wife, Natalie. Natalie is a wannabe journalist.
This is their friend, Hugh Jones. He wishes to be an astronaut.
This is Hugh's wife Katherine. She has no real career ambition, but she does enjoy bot-building and advanced technology.
Almost as soon as they moved into their house in Lunar Lakes, Laura went to acquire some plants and began her garden.
Katherine had heard tell of a mysterious 'portal' somewhere. It turned out to be located in a small park, that was otherwise empty aside from a few trees and a lone bench. She stepped forward to investigate the portal, and was immediately almost blinded when it lit up.
Katherine was surprised to see a man with blue hair step out of the portal.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Emit Relevart," he said. "I bring you the Time Almanac. It will be your guide to the future. Use it well."
"Umm... okay..." Katherine replied.
Katherine stepped forward into the portal and felt herself being yanked forwards. Her surroundings were a blur of colour. Before long, however, she'd come to a halt and was stepping out of the portal.
"Oh! Wow! This must be the future!" she smiled, looking around. The almanac told her that she was somewhere called Oasis Landing.
She immediately went to take a space training class at the observatory, travelling there in a taxi that seemed to be gliding above the ground.
This is so cool, she thought. She couldn't wait to tell Hugh, Natalie and Laura about this place. Perhaps they could all come together sometime.
Katherine had loved learning about advanced technology, and was intrigued by the lifts at the base camp. Unfortunately, she was still only an advanced tech beginner, and got a rude awakening when she left the lift.
"Ugh! That was painful!" she groaned. "I need a little more practise."
Armed with some bot-building books she had bought at the bookstore, she decided to head home.
Her husband Hugh, meanwhile, decided to head to the gym; one needed to be physically fit in order to become an astronaut.
After practising her writing skills for a bit, Natalie spent a little time with her wife.
Natalie wished she could start a family, although she knew that it would be a little trickier for her and Laura than for a heterosexual couple. Aside from the usual option of adoption, she discovered that it was apparently possible to engineer a baby, who would be genetically related to both her and Laura. It cost 5000 Simoleons, though, which was money she did not have.
"Ah well," she muttered, "better start saving up. And it gives me time to get more settled in my career."
Katherine took it upon herself to make a dinner of autumn salad that evening. No one in the household was naturally good at cooking; Katherine hoped to one day build a Plumbot who could serve as the family chef.
The next day, Katherine visited the bot emporium which had recently opened in the town. After inspecting a few Plumbots for sale, she realised that it would be cheaper to construct her own.
Later that evening, the three women sat down to watch TV.
"Funny how Halls of History just seems to show World War Two documentaries," Natalie said.
"Mmm," Laura agreed. "Sure there's footage of the Second World War, but surely they can do reenactments for other periods?"
"It's still fascinating, though," Katherine said.
Having learned of Katherine's Plumbot ambitions and done a little research, Laura purchased some crystal flowers (spot which ones she got from the bot emporium versus which ones came from buydebug

I had a little issue with the household not going to work (Natalie in journalism, Hugh in the military and Laura in science) so I had to do "Fix Homeworld" with Debug Enabler. The game also stopped working as I was quitting, but it had already saved so no harm done.
I've just loaded the game and realized that even having interrupted my sim's stay in the boarding school she did developed some skills: she's now level 2 in painting and level 1 in photography! Happy to realize she did some progress and it wasn't all lost time...
A town reset is best done after saving and if the game hasn't been running for a long session yet. It's also advisable to save a couple minutes afterwards, as the game tends to become unstable after a reset. All in separate saves.

I know I’ve been talking more about Katherine than the others, that’s mainly because she’s unemployed right now and so I have to control her during the day.
The household has almost earned enough money to allow Laura and Natalie to engineer a baby! That will be fun.
Oh, and Hugh and Katherine are due to become parents soon too…
Lisa quickly achieved the Timber Terminator skill challenge for martial arts, and now finds gems when breaking space rocks. She’s already found two Soulpeace gems, hopefully soon she’ll find some Tiberium and the household finances will increase. Having a Plumbot do martial arts has been a great idea, since she never gets exhausted or smelly, although she needs an occasional tuneup and recharge. I’d like to get her the Solar Power trait chip so she can recharge whilst outside, collecting all those gems.

Monica came back from the Le Fromage arts boarding school sooner than she should (thanks to one mistake i made) but she developed the photography skill (level 1) and the painting skill (level 2). I was expecting her to get a trait too, but the rough interruption made my plans fail

Anyway Valeria defended herself and could understand why Theron left and forgot her... Such an agressive woman! She went home and all she wanted was a romantic night with her husband. The next day Valeria found out that she was pregnant again! Just 3 days away from being an elder...
Meanwhile, Olivia and Monica aged up to teens. Monica looks very much like her mother, only more cute! But i kind think Olivia is cute too
Valeria had another pair of twins! She has now 4 girls. Meet Felicity and Lucy! In this save my sims only had twins... Valeria herself has a twin brother.

Monica is more the hard working kind (she's a workaholic). She works hard in school, always does her homework, has a part time job and is already learning to drive in the family's new (amazing!) car...
With two more kids born, i'll have to wait a good time to know who's going to be the next heir... Although when babies age to toddlers i can get an idea of how they'll look i think i'll wait untill the youngers age to kids...
30 Grandchildren Episode 39. I'm getting excited.
In this episode only one of the three new couples go on dates together and they eventually manage to get engaged. The wedding will be early in episode 40.
I added the brain enhancing machine to the household and a couple of sims took advantage of it for their own purposes. Since a lot of the household members will be returning the Cake Island relatively early in episode 40 I decided it was time to operate on Clara's traits and she is finally rid of that annoying unstable trait.
Some of the Imaginary Friends Made Real have wishes to grow a forbidden fruit. So far two of them have planted their forbidden fruit seeds and one of them has picked himself a plant sim baby boy named Jacob. The other, planted by the evil Lucy, will be picked in the next episode. I haven't played forward so have no idea what'll happen when the time comes to pick it.
Evil Klaus, the new household member has begun learning some skills and doing a bit of reading. He seems to be getting along well with a few of the female imaginary friends. I discovered his lifetime wish is Master Romancer so that'll be why he's got an eye for the ladies. I haven't seen any action yet.
There is a mass outing to the casino where most of the machines and the three types of table (poker, blackjack and roulette) are used by various household members.
Jack and Joni spend time exploring the Magic Gnome's Magical Treasure Park. They ride the roller coaster and balloon. They explore a mysterious little building that is full of mirrors and traps and holes in the floor. Jack finds a magic mirror and has a long chat with it while Joni explores the holes in the floor.

Continuation of Chapter 16...
In the last three months…back at the Winter Festival...
After a long cuddle and a few soothing words from Abigail, the pain from Sebastian’s crash landing subsided. There wasn’t anything his girl couldn’t make better for him.
“I swear someday I am going to learn how to heal people through my magic,” Abigail told him.
“That would be amazing babe!”
“Put Harvey out of business...,” Sam chortled, mostly joking.
“No,” Abigail kindly objected. “I could never do that to him.”
“Maybe you could have a partnership with him,” Sebastian suggested. “Modern medicine combined with magic. That would be pretty sweet actually.”
“Yeah,” she agreed, looking thoughtful. “Harvey might think so too. I’ll have to approach him about it someday...when I master that kind of magic of course.” After being under the tutelage of my dad, she grinned.
“Hey,” Sebastian addressed them both, standing up from the bench. “Let’s see if we can catch some snowflakes on our tongues! There’s so many falling right now…”
“I’m down with that! Come on Sam!”
When that got boring, the three took notice of a very small “pond” off to the side of them.
“That’s too small to be a pond,” Sam noted. “It’s gotta be a puddle that froze over from all that rain we got at the end of Fall.”
The couple shrugged.
“Dare me to walk on it?”
Just when he asked that, the sun began to peek through the thick clouds, illuminating the entire area and warming it up a touch. The snowfall even slowed.
“Wow,” Abigail admired. “That’s nice. Now we can see better and not feel so cold!”
Little did she know that while her attention was drawn to the sudden change in weather, Sebastian and Sam were silently planning something through their eyes and nodding at each other.
“On the other hand,” Sam countered to his previous question, “we could just toss Abby onto it and that will let us know pretty quickly if it’s frozen or not.”
“What?” the girl asked, but before she knew it, Sam grabbed her by the arms while Sebastian gripped her ankles. She screamed, which caught the attention of Harvey and Penny nearby.
“HEY! PUT ME DOWN! Oh my gosh! SAM DON’T YOU EVEN!” she yelled at him.
Sam just laughed.
“SEB!”
“I dunno...sounds like a good idea to me,” he answered her with a wink, the two beginning to swing her back and forth to gain some force.
“Noooo!” she cried through a grin, playing along. “You wouldn’t!”
“Oh yes we would!”
“No! Ahh!” she squealed this time, trying to wriggle out of their grasp. “My stomach tickles! Eeek! Help me! Someone save me since my boyfriend won’t!”
“Don’t you two dare!” Harvey sternly addressed, coming onto the scene.
“Chill out Harvey,” Sebastian said under a chuckle, “we’re just horsing around. Do you think I’d actually throw my girl onto a frozen pond?”
“Sometimes I don’t know what to expect from you two…,” came the answer.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Sam asked in a tone of offense.
But Sebastian ignored it. “We’re just teasing! Cause Abby is super fun to tease.”
“It’s true Harvey,” the hanging girl admitted, “they find opportunities to tease me all the time, but thank you for coming to my rescue anyway.”
Penny giggled.
Harvey just shook his head with a sigh.
Sebastian soon carried Abigail away from the pond - Sam following - giving her a few kisses as he did.
“You know I would never, ever do something like that right?” he asked while setting her down.
“Yes,” she lovingly grinned, then put on a serious look. “But you’re gonna have to be extra careful now since you know I’m a witch and if you do anything to hurt or anger me I can just throw a nasty spell at you like THIS!”
Sebastian didn’t have any time to react before he was floating in the air, a look of utter fear written all over his face. Sam laughed out loud.
Little did Sebastian know that all she cast on him was a “love charm,” but no matter. Two could play at the teasing game. Sam’s guffaw was beginning to annoy her.
“Oh you think that’s funny, pretty boy? The same applies to you!” She cast her hands towards him.
“Wait, wha--”
Sam’s arms flailed around as the magic elevated his body, did its work, then set him down. Abigail suppressed a laugh.
“What did you do to me!?”
“Oh you’re fine...it’s just a simple ‘good luck’ charm. But remember, that was a warning spell. Next time it might not be something pleasant,” she winked.
“A good luck charm? Sweet!” I sure could use some luck… He couldn’t deny thinking about Haley in that moment.
“So...what was it you cast on Seb then?” he asked.
“Oh my dearest Abigail,” came the voice of his best friend, in a higher and airy tone than usual, with his hands clasped upon his heart. “My heart beats wildly for you my bonny, purple-haired, witch...it pines for you when you are not in my arms.”
“Oh puleeeeze…,” Sam whispered with an eye roll. Since when did he turn so sappy?
“Prithee warm my heart with your presence my dearest. It grows colder by the minute in this frozen landscape; I just cannot bear it! Come to me my love. Oh prithee come to me!”
“Oh Seb,” Abigail lovingly chuckled, holding a hand to her heart, “this is so not you...and I’m not sure if I really care for it...but of course I will come to you!” And with that she pulled him into a deep and passionate kiss. True love's kiss would break the love charm.
"Oh, I see," Sam realized.
As soon as moans started being expressed, he felt all the more uncomfortable being around the kiss. “Alright you two, get a room.”
Meanwhile, shivering Elliott and Leah hurried over to the concession stand to order some hot cocoa.
“It’s so cute to watch the ‘kids’ play, isn’t it?” she joked again with Elliott as they watched and sipped.
“Sure is,” he replied, “though I’d prefer to be watching our own children…”
“Oh you…I know.” She sighed. “Someday.” Hopefully soon...back home.
Some happy voices could be heard from behind them as Sebastian, Sam, and Abigail made snow angels.
And to the right of them was Harvey, Penny, Shane, and Emily engaging in an intense snowball battle.
“Oooh! Did you see Penny whack Shane with that one?” Leah grinned. “Sounded like he got the wind knocked out of him.”
“I did!” Elliott gaped. His heart thumped nervously at the sight for some reason, but he quickly figured out why. “I shudder to think how the old Shane would’ve reacted to that…”
“Pfft! She wouldn’t be anywhere near the old Shane, let alone chuck a snowball at him!”
“True.”
“Oh you’re gonna pay for that one Penny…,” Shane teased, raising his snowball.
He felt it was a pretty good launch.
“Ha! Missed me!”
Da’mmit. Next thing he knew Penny was chucking one back at him. He dodged it just in time.
“Not this time girl!”
“Aww…,” Penny whimpered, but smiled.
Harvey knocked Emily down onto her bum with a good throw…
...which she was not happy about so she fired the biggest snowball she had back at him.
A perfect hit! Though she was hoping it would have knocked him down onto his bum too.
“Get ‘im babe,” Shane winked at her.
The activities caused many of them to get wet, which along with the freezing air, chilled them to the bone. Sniffles could be heard left and right. Harvey suggested they all sit down by the fire pits to warm up and relax. No one opposed to that; in fact it sounded downright divine!
“Hurry it up Sam!” Abigail ordered through chattering teeth, shivering so much that she was finding it a struggle just to sit down.
“The fire won’t freaking start!” he replied in frustration. “The kindling in here su’cks!”
“I’ll go look for some better kindling,” Maru offered. “I think I saw a pile of old grass clippings next to the dumpster that haven’t been touched by the snow.” She quickly went to go fetch some.
“Thanks Maru.”
They had a roaring little fire going in no time. The warmth it provided soothed the sting of the cold and they were able to relax and carry on some pleasant conversation with each other.
Sam and Haley talked and laughed hysterically while the same went on between Alex and Maru. The four seemed completely oblivious to Abigail and Sebastian's presence. It caused the couple to shoot some curious glances at each other as they listened.
Back at the other fire pit, Shane returned to the group from the concession stand and told them they had marshmallows for roasting. “I grabbed a bag for all of us and some sticks. So whenever you all feel like roasting some," he raised the bag, "here they are,” and placed it down beside him. “I’m roasting mine now.”
“That was sweet of you Shane,” Emily thanked with a smile.
“Yes, thank you Shane,” Penny added. “Those smell good already.”
“You’re welcome. Too bad they didn’t have the fixings for s’mores…”
“Maybe they don’t know what s’mores are in this world,” Harvey expressed.
“If so they don’t know what they’re missing,” Leah stated, making everyone nod in unison.
Eventually they all started roasting marshmallows, except for Leah and Harvey who stood up to warm their hands and bottom.
“Hey there cute tushie,” Penny whispered to Harvey with a smirk.
Shane overheard and shook his head while saying, “Gross!”
“Hey!” Sam called from the other group. “You guys got marshmallows? Can we have some?”
Now everyone in the other group was roasting marshmallows as well, except Alex and Maru who got up at the same time to warm their hands before doing the same.
“You really have the worst gloves in the world there dontcha?” he asked.
“I do. They must be formal gloves or something. Better than nothing.” She shrugged.
“True.”
He wanted to offer his gloves to her, but then he would be left without. I know my hands won’t fit in those awful, girly gloves! Even if I wanted them to wear them!
Once everyone was all warmed up, they headed right back to the festivities. Harvey stayed at the fire pit with Penny, of course, as she was still enjoying some marshmallows.
“You want another one?” she offered him.
“No thanks. I’m alright.” He smiled, then sighed as he watched the others disappear into the various different areas of the festival.
“Life here has been going so well for all of us lately, and it’s truly been wonderful,” he expressed, leading into a foreboding tone. “But why can’t I shake the feeling that this is the calm before the storm…”
Penny finished chewing before answering. “I don’t think that's the case,” she comforted. “I think this is the calm that is leading us right into completing the quest and transporting home.” She always tried to think positively since her panic attack to keep her worrisome thoughts away.
Harvey was trying to as well - and for the most part he felt the same way she did - but sometimes the weight of leadership makes it difficult to not consider all possible scenarios and outcomes. He still made a promise to bring all of them home safely and darn it he was going to hold true to that! But with such a promise, comes great responsibility. The kind a single man cannot bear alone. Cannot do alone. And sometimes things happen that are just out of the realm of his control. He knew it, but wasn’t quite willing to accept it.
“I hope you’re right,” he sighed.
“I wanna give it a try so bad, but I’m kinda scared…,” Emily admitted.
“I’m a little nervous too,” Shane admitted also, but only ever to her. “I got into it for a bit when I was thirteen, but,” he paused, “I never kept up with it. Mostly cause I just...forgot about it…”
Emily knew his thoughts and rested her cheek on his shoulder.
“Let’s see how much I remember.”
“Okay, but please be careful,” she lovingly implored.
“I will,” he assured, giving her a peck on the lips.
As he ascended the ladder, Emily gave him a little cheer. “You got this babe!”
Shane took in a few breaths as he readied himself for take off. Alright, show Emily what ya got! It’ll come back to you, it always does. You DO got this! You’re not gonna crash. You never did before, cause you’re flippin’ awesome! Remember that! Plus you don’t want to give Harvey another reason to play doctor on you…, he ended with a sour look. “H**L no.” He shook his head to swish the thoughts away and took off with confidence.
He gained some good air on the first flip. Emily's dazzled heart fluttered.
“Oh yeah, I still got it.”
“WOO HOO! Look at you go Shane! WOO! You’re amazing!”
Having Emily as his cheerleader in life now, made it so much easier to succeed at everything.
One epic flip made Emily feel especially nervous. Oh Lord, please bless him to land safely. I don’t want my sweetheart getting hurt…
Sure enough Shane didn’t crash at all. A coincidence? Not at all.
It was high time for a meal, in Harvey, Penny, Sebastian, and Abigail’s minds, so they gathered at the concession stand to see what was available and sounded good to eat. The men let the ladies order first.
They sat at one of the tables underneath the pretty, lighted gazebo and enjoyed each other’s company while they ate.
Meanwhile all the others took to the skating rink. Maru still didn’t like how crowded it felt, but it was nice to converse and laugh with the others. It really made the activity all the more enjoyable.
Emily eventually found the courage to give snowboarding a try when Shane was done and did pretty well considering it was her first time. Shane was thoroughly impressed; and turned on. That’s my girl.
He might’ve said a similar prayer to Emily’s at one point as he watched her prepare to go airborne.
It was a sticky landing and scared Emily enough to decide that she was done. Shane was very proud of her for facing her fear and expressed as much.
When sunset arrived, Elliott and Leah left the rink to grab some dinner. Sam and Haley held hands and twirled together on the ice; practically lost in each other’s eyes. The smiles and laughs they were exchanging seemed extra bright and extra giddy to someone who was casually watching. Purely genuine. Haley even seemed like a completely different person; in a good way.
It caused Maru to pause and wonder for a moment, developing concern over how Alex might feel coming back from the bathroom and witnessing the two so close together like that. She knew Sam and Haley were hanging out more together - as she and Alex were too - but it was only because they were friends. However, watching those two looking at each other in such a way, she began to fear that maybe Haley was beginning to reciprocate Sam’s feelings for her. And that would not bode well for Alex.
Thankfully, Sam and Haley broke their twirl just before Alex came back to the rink.
“Hey babe,” Haley addressed him, coming to the edge of it. “I’m freezing my butt off! You wanna warm up with me by the fire pit?”
“Umm,” he paused, looking over at Maru. Maru wasn’t sure why he did. He wanted to skate some more, but remembered Maru saying earlier how much she wished the rink was bigger and he finally figured out what she had meant by that. He decided to allow her to have the rink all to herself. “Yeah, that sounds nice,” he replied to Haley. “I’m cold too.”
“I’m gonna go see what Seb and Abby are up to,” Sam told them while exiting the rink, ever staying nonchalant in their presence. “See ya guys!”
How nice, Maru thought with a grin, I finally have the rink all to myself.
It was mesmerizing watching Maru and all the spins she was doing, in the faint evening light with snowflakes falling all around her. Landing like an Olympic champion with such form and...beauty. Alex struggled to keep his attention on Haley while she gabbed on and on about photography and winter fashions. He couldn’t figure out why Maru was continually impressing him with her skills and he wished he’d seen all these amazing things about her long before now. Teenage Alex never knew what he’d been missing in his life.
Just then, one of Maru’s spins resulted in a failed landing and she expressed a yelp during the fall.
“Oh sh**!” Alex cried, bursting from his chair. “Maru fell on the ice!” He didn’t wait for Haley to respond, he bolted straight towards her.
“Hey!” Haley expressed, watching him go to Maru’s aid. She wanted to follow, but really didn’t feel like venturing away from the warm fire and getting her pants wet again. Alex has got this, she thought, turning back to the fire, he’s familiar with sports medicine I’m sure. She was surprised Harvey didn’t notice or hear Maru fall. That seemed strange. He always seems to have a radar for that sort of thing…
“You sure your ankle isn’t sprained?” Alex asked Maru as he tenderly helped her up onto her feet.
“Yes,” she smiled. “I’ve seen many a sprained ankle at the clinic. It just got twisted a little. It’s fine. Really.”
“Okaaay, if you say so. But I’m not going to let you go until the wobbling stops.” He chuckled.
“Okay,” she chuckled in return. Since when did he become so sweet?
“You skate like a champ you know,” he said after a minute of silence.
“Oh goodness, I wish!” she dismissed. “But thank you.”
“So did you take some ice skating lessons or do you geniuses not require lessons for anything?”
She laughed. “Sometimes we do, oftentimes we don’t.”
“Lucky a$$...”
“Excuse me?”
“Sorry, I didn’t mean that to be rude. It’s just…so not fair that the rest of us have to work super hard to be good at stuff in life while people like you easily ride through it.”
“Wellll…,” she paused, choosing her reaction carefully. “I know one thing that we all have to work super hard at to achieve; that doesn’t come easily to anyone.”
“What’s that?”
She held a grin for a long moment before replying, “The perfect body.”
There was the widened, handsome smile she was expecting. “Gah. Once again you got me. Good one!”
“Thank you.”
The two gazed into each other’s eyes for a moment, neither knowing how much the other’s heart was fluttering. When Maru realized Alex was giving her the same eyes Sam and Haley had given each other, her stomach tightened, her heart slowed, and the ache in her ankle suddenly returned.
She slipped and fell again, taking Alex with her. “Ow!” the man cried, falling hard on his bum.
“Oh gosh, I am SO sorry!” Maru expressed. “Are you okay? Do you need help up?”
“No, I got it. Plus I don’t want you putting any more weight on that questionable ankle.”
“Guess it might be a little sprained after all...huh?”
“Yeah most likely.”
He took her hands again once they stood to keep her from falling again. “How about we have Harvey take a look at it okay?”
“Yeah. Sounds good.” Whew…
Meanwhile while Haley was continuing to keep warm by the fire, Sam approached, turned around, and pointed his bum at it. “Ahhh,” he breathed. “That feels nice.”
Haley glanced down at his cute bottom with a smirk. “You have a really nice a$$.”
“Yeah…I know,” came the smug response.
For that, she spanked his bottom.
“Hey!” He broadly smiled at her.
“Keep your butt away from my fire! The last thing I need is for you to fart and shoot flames at my beautiful hair!”
“What!?” he laughed. “Did you actually just say that!?”
“Yeah! You guys are always full of farts and never hesitate to crank one off! Especially when you’re pointing your butt at something!”
Sam heartily laughed again, almost wishing he had a fart brewing and ready to go. Perhaps that would impress her, after getting over her disgust by it of course. That would be SO awesome!
After taking a quick look at Maru’s ankle, Harvey suggested that she head home and keep off of it for the rest of the evening. Everyone else decided it was a good time to head home as well. It was getting dark and very very cold.
“Before we go,” Harvey said, turning towards Penny. “Let’s get our picture taken together at the photo booth.”
“Alrighty.”
After getting two copies of their lovely photo, the suave android photographer reached over and lightly caressed Penny’s cheek, which made her feel horribly uncomfortable. “Such beauty Mademoiselle,” he complimented, “you would make a fine ice princess model for this year's Winter Festival. Would you like to be my ice princess?”
Penny shot Harvey a nervous, wide-eyed look of curiosity which made him shrug.
“Here is ze set,” the android pointed at a snowy backdrop in the corner, with magical snowflakes falling from the lights above. Then he pointed at the other corner of the booth where stood a tall and ornate partition. “There you will change into ze dress and crown and then moi will magically style your hair and take many pictures. How about it Mademoiselle?”
Penny looked at Harvey again and he could sense her shyness and reservation. “Only if you want you,” he said.
She thought for a moment. “Could I see the dress?” she asked the android.
“Oui, yes, yes!” And he went to fetch it.
When Penny’s eyes met with the dress, they lit up. It was the most stunning dress she ever laid eyes on. Harvey noticed and smiled.
“Twould make you feel like a princess, non?”
“Yeah,” she blushed. Oh how many times had she wanted to dress up like a princess as a little girl, even just for some photos, but her mom would never buy her clothes like that, or do those kinds of photos. She sighed as the painful memories stung for a bit.
Harvey could sense her thoughts and wrapped his arm around her. “I think you want to wear it,” he whispered in her ear.
“I really do.”
“Then I’ll be waiting right here for you. I can’t wait to see how you look in it.”
Penny grinned at him and happily went behind the partition to change.
“C’est génial! Magnifique!” the android expressed in between taking many pictures of Penny in front of the snowy backdrop. Harvey’s eyes sparkled at her graceful poses and exquisite beauty.
Penny’s favorite photo out of them all was of her holding out her hand to catch the perfect snowflake.
Harvey couldn’t help taking his love into his arms and kissing her dearly when the photoshoot was done.
“My gosh you’re one gorgeous ice princess!” he expressed, then kissed her again. “Mmm...
...If I could, I’d marry you right now!”
“Oh Harvey…”
“But no. I want you to have the wedding you’ve always dreamed of,” he said in a tone of promise as he stroked her curly hair. “Then you’ll be my princess.”
Her face beamed. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too.”
“Aww,” came the android’s reaction, holding his clasped hands to his cheeks. “Merci dear lovers. Merci Mademoiselle. Au revoir.”
“Au revoir to you sir,” Harvey and Penny said at the same time, which made them laugh.
What a fun-filled day it had been!

Today, Edward Birch finally graduated college. He got his diploma and left the University grounds with a smile on his face. He only finished his term with a C because things went south the second week (Again, ugh!), but that won't likely stop him on the field.
He's now a fully fletched scientist, and I've already put him to work over the "Elyixion Corporate Tower", a recently made Bridgeport building that includes an extensive laboratory and an office building belonging to the so-called Elyxion Corporation. This lab has a lot of university science objects, as well as the generations chemistry bench and a large garden. All a scientist needs to advance his research and skills. It's also stunning to look at (I'll post pictures over at my other thread). Edward works over at the Marine Science Research Facility during the day, and then spends his nights at the Corporate Tower, researching on his own projects.
In other news, Jebediah, Edward's father, has started frequenting the local bar. Waylon's haunt to be specific. If only he knew that this is where Crystal, his wife's deceased sister, started her rise to the top of the local music scene. There's even a picture of her behind the bar, from her young adult days.

Was just CAS editing one of the stray generic-faces with the sausage-wizard hats, and I only just realised his name after saving and heading back in game.

Sadly no Tiberium for Lisa yet (officially changed her name with the bot workshop), but she did get a Pink Diamond! I’m already planning things for little Theo… I gave him the Eccentric trait, so he can become an inventor and hopefully construct a Simbot one day, which I’ve not done before! A heart-shaped pink diamond is one of the ingredients, so things are already coming together nicely.
Katherine and Hugh had a little girl, Amy. Perhaps she and Theo can get married one day… but they’re still only babies, I’m jumping ahead of myself here
I used to play swotr a few years ago, but not log on since then, it was

Chapter 14.8 – Sunset Valley May 2022 – Spring Party Time
The first thought on Ingrids mind was of course making money from her political career, but today was Spring Festival Day, so there would be no opportunity to go to work.
She practiced making pancakes for breakfast with her new found cooking skills and they turned out pretty nice. Reading books can sometimes pay off..
Next she donated 250 simoleons to "The Rich" before heading to the park, hoping to spot a raccoon... Ingrid has inherited the good trait from her father, Jonathan, which has inherited it again from his mother, Lucie.
Ingrid lives right next door to the Reppe family, and we will visit them later for Kristina Reppes 13th birthday.
She didn't spot any raccoons at the park, but she quickly found the dance floor where she began flirting with Mikael Bastiansen.
Ranveig Motorsen (Oliver Freddys mother) eventually joins them at the dance floor, and I don't think I have ever seen her dance this lively before, but it pleases me to watch that she can escape her struggles for a while to let loose and have some fun.
Ahmed Mohamed also heads over to the dance floor, not to dance, but to give Ingrid flowers. She is very happy about the flowers, and they too flirt for a while. Ranveigs youngest son, Robert Bråge, is seen in the back left wearing a silver paper crown.
Ingrid doesn't get the hearts for him though, and he leaves after a while to tell a ghost story that no one goes to listen to. Mikael points at him and makes a joke about a marriage being underway, much to Ranveigs amusement. Ingrid wasn't all that entertained by the joke, though..
Though she didn't get the hearts for him, she has the attractive company moodlet, and she is jokingly expressing love for something. And a wise poet once said that a lot of truth is said in jest, but I think it is perhaps to early to conclude about anything... :P The attractive company moodlet could be because of Mikael, or both. I don't really know.
Anyway, they just keep dancing and dancing and dancing, until Ranveig eventually stops and gets a little nervous as she becomes aware that she is surrounded by a bit to many people for her liking... Ranveig is a bit of a loner by nature, something she has been ever since her school days, and prefers most of the time to stay at home watching tv or maintaining her chess skills...
She leaves the dance floor to stand alone in the shade for a while, before she feels content enough to return to the dancing.
Taking it a little slowly in the beginning, before gradually getting more energetic.
Ingrid leaves the dance floor for a while, to admire her own reflection in the mirror.
Ingrid returns and continues conversing with Mikael, while Ranveig leaves to practice more chess...
Ranveig captures and eats an imaginary fly, and once she realizes what she just did, she gets a little anxious and hopes nobody saw that one..
Ingrid keeps on dancing and dancing until a horse walks across the dance floor....
"That was much more interesting and bigger than a raccoon" she thinks and follows it to watch it.
She wants to pet it, but is a little to afraid to get close. This is the first time she has seen a horse... there didn't use to be wild horses in Sunset Valley before, so it must have migrated from somewhere..
After this its just more dancing, before she finally decides to head home, super excited about this day of dancing, flirting and horse spotting.

-- Part II – Kristinas birthday --
A little over halfway through the month it was time for a celebration, when Kristina Reppe, Inges younger sister, would have her last day as a child and make the transition into becoming a teenager...
Kristinas mother, Iselin, wasn't to good with making pancakes for breakfast.. maybe this explains Inges struggles with just the same a bit earlier.
Anyway, Iselin naturally wanted to throw a party for her daughter aging up, so she invited over her all her friends, as well as Ranveig and her sister Monica (because there were no more kids to invite, and they were the closest adult friends of the family).
Two unknown kids (to me) were the first to arrive, and the first known guest was Ranveigs sister, Monica. Typical of the Motorsen family, she came a bit warmly dressed for such a nice spring day...
The second known guest to arrive, was Kleopatra Motor-Karlsen, that had just recently aged up to a teenager herself. Ingrid was not invited, because she doesn't know the family well enough, and Kristinas older sister Inge could not attend because she is at university preparing for her exam...
Then came Ranveig, also in her outerwear, just like her sister, but she quickly changed to her formal wear, even though that wasn't necessary because the invitation said it was fine to come over in casual everyday clothes. :P
Bjørn-Yngve and Morten came shortly thereafter, and went outside to play tag.
Robert Bråge, Ranveigs son had come alongside his mother (there were so many kids, I forgot to get a screenshot of him), and Lise Veronica, the daughter of Monica, was the last to arrive.
Then it was time for the big moment, and Kristina would blow out the candles. Deep breath, and blow! Robert Bråge is now seen standing to the left.
And boom! There you go with fireworks and sparkles, Kristina is now a teenager! She inherited the family oriented trait from one of her grandparents, probably...
Kristina and Kleopatra, the towns freshest teenagers. Kristina displays her new personality trait already, immediately talking about babies...!
Kleopatra is not at all interested in babies. She thinks they're to noisy and smelly to have around the house...
Jarle goes upstairs to play be... juice pong with Monica, and I guess now I see where his oldest daughter got her juice pong skills from, as he throws the first ball right into Monicas mouth..
Blergh!
Later Jarle begins to flirt with Ranveig, which is at first not really popular with anyone..
Kristina goes upstairs to play a regular round of ping pong with Monica. Of course, no juice for the teenagers.
Jarle continues to flirt with Ranveig, and Ranveig eventually responds positively..
While the flirting goes on, laughter is heard from upstairs as some of the kids are there pillow fighting.
Jarle keeps on flirting with Ranveig, now right in front of both his wife and his daughter..
None of them like it very much, and even Monica, Ranveigs sister, shows up to display her disgust.. this makes Jarle leave, though he is still thinking about Ranveig...
Neither Iselin nor Kristina is mad with Ranveig, though. Its not her fault Jarle keeps flirting. Ranveig has shown that she likes it, but she never flirted back. Kristina begins to repeatledy engage Ranveig in a university mascot slogan dance... go gerbitz!

Kristina goes upstairs to play a game of ping pong with Kleopatra, and it looks like Kleopatra is winning this one, and does a corny victory dance. :P
The flirting commences and everyone has eventually began to ignore it and just let it happen...
Kristina goes for another game of ping pong with Kleopatra. She wants 'vengeance', and it looks like she is getting it this time.
Huzzah! After this Kleopatra decides it was a good party, and goes home, and the rest of the kids leave too, except for the Motorsen sisters, Ranveig and Monica, along with their kids, Robert Bråge and Lise Veronica...
Jarle keeps flirting with Ranveig, but eventually she decides she has had enough and says its probably time for her and her son to leave the party...
"Come along Robert, I think we're going home..."
The birthday child eventually changes into her sleepwear to go to bed, and the party is officially over.. it still takes a while for Monica to take the hint and leave, though...
But eventually she gets the point, and calls her daughter to head back to their own house, where her equally eternally faithful husband is probably waiting for her... Good night!

Theo Baxter-Price has the Loves the Outdoors and Eccentric traits. He's got slightly lighter skin than Natalie. I was able to choose his hair and eye colour, plus his traits.
Amy Jones has the Brave and Athletic traits. She's got Hugh's skin and hair. She looks a little grumpy here, but she's got a similar face to Katherine.
@Karritz I took your advice to start an underground garden and it's going well! This is only a fraction of it. I'm planning for Laura to eventually grow every single plant in-game. I'll probably end up using buydebug to get some of the items.
