    I have installed the following Expansion Packs: All Expansions

    I have installed the following Stuff Packs: All stuff Packs, including Sweet Treats!

    I own the following Store Content: Too much to list, I DON"T own Mother Russia, Grim's Ghastly Manor or Grandpa's Grove though

    I own the following EA-made Worlds: All of them

    Some of my favorite colors are: Natural colors

    I really don’t like this color: Neon colors and black

    I love to use items from this set: Brunch at the Old Mill, Carousel Set

    I prefer to play in this EA-made World: Appaloosa Plains

    I enjoy playing in this custom world (please include link): I play in too many CC worlds to list and most of them have 3rd party CC in them.
    Its okay to build it in an EA world.=)

    I enjoy this style of build the most: (Examples: Craftsman, Victorian, Modern): I love Craftsman, Traditional, Haunted Mansions(XD)

    I really don’t want this in my game: Victorians, they are my least favorite and I usually delete them from the worlds, also modern homes, not particularly fond of them.
    I also would prefer if the rooms weren't all done in one color like "Wooden Walls, Wooden Fridge, Wooden counters" etc.

    I would or would not like lots in the following sizes: I like the lot sizes that come in game, would prefer if it wasn't like 32x24 or odd lot sizes as they are hard
    to place down.
    I want/don’t want berry sims: No thanks, I like to play realistically

    I want/don’t want occult sims: (Be sure to specifically list those that you are fine with or mention which ones you don’t want to see in your game!) Ghosts! I love anything haunted
    and werewolves are fun to!

    I want/don’t want pets in the household: (Like cats more than dogs? Prefer cute puppies to horses? Don’t want any critters? Mention it!) Cats and Small dogs are okay.Large dogs cause an issue with
    free will for me.

    Do you want your sims and/or pets skilled up for you? If so, how much? (Example: A couple of points, but not maxed out) No thanks, I like to earn the skills myself.=)

    Are there certain skills you want skilled because you really like having them ready when you start with a new sim or household? No thanks.

    Are there particular skill items that you really like having in a build? My sims like baking, painting, piano, and sports

    How do your sims travel around town? taxi and cars

    Other:

    Dear Buddy,

    I have many great interest, and I hope some of them will help you build your gift.I absolutely love haunted
    lots/houses.I'm a paranormal investigator in real life, and enjoy anything creepy, Disney's Gracey Manor in
    particular is a favorite of mine.I also enjoy traditional family homes, or farmhouses, I like to have my sims
    live on lots that have lots of activities, such as the tractor, the tea table or the chicken coup.

    Some of my favorite Tv Shows include, Roseanne, Fresh Prince, The Nanny, Everybody loves
    Raymond, so maybe you could take inspiration there as well.

    I do like homes that are fully furnished, and cluttered, with a lived in feeling.And I typically
    play with a family of 4 or five, my sims usually love to host parties, so if there's space to leave
    open for dinner parties or something like that, it would be great.

    Community lot wise, festival lots and casinos are my favorites! but my sims enjoy
    visiting many different lots.

    Here would be a good place to mention what you do NOT feel comfortable making. There are Simmers who don’t enjoy occult things … they shouldn’t have to create that for another or receive that type of gift in return. This is just one example off the top of my head and I’m sure there are other preferences I haven’t thought of. If you would rather send a private message to me with your answer, please feel free to do so.

    I'm not comfortable with making mansions or modern homes.

    I have installed the following Expansion Packs: I have all the EPs

    I have installed the following Stuff Packs: I have all except Katy Perry Sweet Treats

    I own the following Store Content: I own pretty much the whole store. There might be an item here or there that I might be missing.

    I own the following EA-made Worlds: I own all the EA store worlds.

    Some of my favorite colors are: blue, red, green

    I really don’t like this color: I'm not a fan of black or yellow unless they are used as an accent color or as a pop of color in decor.

    I love to use items from this set: Grandpa's Grove, Charmingly Simple Kitchen, Farm Fresh Folk, Country Livin', any of the Bayside sets... these are the few I can think of off the top of my head. I really like to use farmhouse/rustic decor.

    I prefer to play in this EA-made World: Appaloosa Plains, Sunset Valley, Hidden Springs, and Barnacle Bay.

    I enjoy playing in this custom world (please include link): I can't think of a custom world that I favor at this time. I'm really enjoying playing in EA worlds right now.

    I enjoy this style of build the most: Farmhouse. I especially love BIG front porches or even wrap-around porches. :heart: I also love cabins.

    I really don’t want this in my game: Modern builds. It's not my aesthetic. Not a fan of the building style or the decor style.

    I would or would not like lots in the following sizes: I'm good with any size of lot! I got a new computer this year for my birthday (yay!) and it can run the sims well!

    I want/don’t want berry sims: Please no berry sims. Thanks!

    I want/don’t want occult sims: I'm not really a fan of the occult however, I'm okay with witches and mermaids.

    I want/don’t want pets in the household: I LOVE playing with pets! I pretty much have a pet in every household. Cats and dogs are good. I also love horses. (Side note, I work at a horse barn so I wouldn't be mad if you made me a horse :lol: )

    Do you want your sims and/or pets skilled up for you? If so, how much? You can leave them unskilled. I enjoy skilling up my pets.

    Are there certain skills you want skilled because you really like having them ready when you start with a new sim or household? You can leave them unskilled if you wish. But I wouldn't mind one or two skill points in cooking, gardening, writing or painting... but it has to fit with the personality of the sim you create. :wink:

    Are there particular skill items that you really like having in a build? A computer is a must have. I like using the multi-tab so if you have one somewhere in the house, great! If you don't own that store item, no worries! Also a bookshelf somewhere would be nice! I'm open to any other skill items you see fit!

    How do your sims travel around town? Typically my sims travel by taxi because I'm too lazy or forgetful to buy them a car :lol: however, I do typically add a garage to my sims' houses in case I actually remember to get them a car. Also, if they have a horse but don't own a car I'll usually have them ride their horse into town.

    Other: I'd be interested in the possibility of a community lot as a gift. It could be a place that a sim could go on a date. It could be a place to go hang out with friends. Or a place to take the family for a fun day out. I'd also love holiday/winter themed lots! Christmas is my favorite holiday and my favorite time of year. But don't feel confined to this! If you feel like building a house... build a house! Honestly, I'm really easy going and will love anything you (my buddy) makes for me! Let your creative juices flow!

    Hi everyone :D ,

    it's absolutely fabulous to have the chance to take part in another Gift Exchange. Thank you sooo much Addy for deciding to be our awesome host again :)
    There are a few other projects that I'm involved with and RL is taking up quite a big chunk of time but I'm sure I'll be able to squeeze in a build or two for whoever ends up being my buddy.

    Here is my Buddy Letter form:

    Username: Hidehi

    Link to your Sims 3 My Page: (read no. 3 listed above!) https://mypage.thesims3.com/mypage/Hidehi

    I have installed the following Expansion Packs: All

    I have installed the following Stuff Packs: All except Katy Perry

    I own the following Store Content: (List what you own ~ if you own a lot of items, please list what you do NOT own)
    Pretty much everything except early promotional items e.g. Dr Pepper.

    I own the following EA-made Worlds: All

    Some of my favorite colors are: I prefer natural colours , earthy tones, greens, blues mostly turquoise, shades of purple and muted yellows

    I really don’t like this color: I don't dislike any colour, whatever works best in a build ... but very busy wallpaper covering the whole of a room I'm not really very fond of.

    I love to use items from this set: I usually choose bits and bobs of various sets, but I especially like items from the Brunch at the Old Mill set, Country Living, Club Vaindenburger, Once Upon a Time and a fair amount of general clutter ... 'The Lemonade Baron' makes an appearance in nearly every one of my builds ;)

    I prefer to play in this EA-made World:
    I must admit I really do not play a lot with sims in any EA world as I prefer to build and I have a few custom worlds I like to use for that purpose (see below)

    I enjoy playing in this custom world (please include link):
    Great Bear by Johnnywr, https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=5182185
    Any of Rflong7's worlds but mainly Supernatural Island http://www.mediafire.com/file/ywm0lhy036p8t31/Supernatural_Island.Sims3Pack/file and Hidehi's Christmas Village https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=9351087
    or one of my own

    I enjoy this style of build the most: (Examples: Craftsman, Victorian, Modern)
    I have no preference for any particular building style and I'm sure that whatever my buddy feels most comfortable creating will be fantastic.

    I really don’t want this in my game: Nothing that I really dislike ... except maybe third party CC even though some of it looks awesome

    I would or would not like lots in the following sizes: I prefer regular lot sizes up to 40x40. But community lots like parks, festival grounds or farms etc. could obviously be bigger.

    I want/don’t want berry sims: I am not very keen on berry sims

    I want/don’t want occult sims: All occult sims are fine with me

    I want/don’t want pets in the household: All pets are okay but I can't cope with more than one ... maybe two in a single sim household.

    Do you want your sims and/or pets skilled up for you? Not really necessary

    Are there certain skills you want skilled because you really like having them ready when you start with a new sim or household? See above

    Are there particular skill items that you really like having in a build? I enjoy having as many items as you can cram into a build for skill building ... a computer, TV or/and stereo would definitely be great.

    How do your sims travel around town? Taxi ... vehicle ... bicycle/scooter ... horse ... broom?
    No preference here ... my sims use various transport and as they have extremely large pockets to stuff even enormous vehicles into. I personally don't mind if a lot comes with parking spaces or not ... exception: if my sim has a horse I really would like a stable ;)

    Other: (Describe here anything that you’d really like that might or might not have been previously mentioned!)
    I really like rustic wooden cabins, Cape Cod style builds, anything that would fit into an European Alpine world or any kind of fun community lot at the moment.

    As always my main wish is that my buddy has fun and enjoys building whatever they decide to create.

    Here would be a good place to mention what you do NOT feel comfortable making.
    I'm quite happy to try and create whatever I hope my buddy would like ... but I'm still not very comfortable using CFE so that may be something I would probably prefer to avoid.

    Hey, y'all! Since I've tweaked some things so I can actually PLAY again, I've decided to join this time. :) I'll still be helping Addy out with Custard, although I'm not sure how we're going to handle that.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I have installed the following Expansion Packs: Everything
    I have installed the following Stuff Packs: Everything
    I own the following Store Content: Seriously, again, everything. :) (Except the Dr. Pepper stuff, but does anyone actually own that?)
    I own the following EA-made Worlds: All of them.
    Some of my favorite colors are: Purple (all variants), wood tones, silver, gold, white. I have vision problems, so usually prefer bright colors (but not over-saturated) to things that are faded or dull.
    I really don’t like this color: I don't care for orange or cyan except as pops or accents. Just not as a main color.
    I love to use items from this set: Anything rococo, fairy tale, fantasy, or medieval.
    I prefer to play in this EA-made World: Dragon Valley, although I don't object to any of the other store worlds, as I wouldn't mind trying some of them out.
    I enjoy playing in this custom world (please include link): I used to play Cotes d'Ambonnay or pretty much any world by @Rflong7, but I can't until I get my new computer back from an RMA. So right now, no custom worlds.
    I enjoy this style of build the most: Victorian, medieval, fantasy, rural.
    I really don’t want this in my game: Things that are very urban or industrial.
    I would or would not like lots in the following sizes: Any size, although right now I'd be looking for something 20x30.
    I want/don’t want berry sims: I don't mind berry sims, especially if they're purplish. You can make a red Sim if it's someone from Barsoom. :)
    I want/don’t want occult sims: I *love* occults. I very rarely play non-occults; I find them boring. Witches are my favorite, because they're so versatile. I don't play with mermaids or vampires, really; I prefer fairies, witches, and werewolves.
    I want/don’t want pets in the household: I like cats, and maybe a dog if it's small.
    Do you want your sims and/or pets skilled up for you? If so, how much? I would prefer to NOT have them skilled. I like doing the skilling myself.
    Are there certain skills you want skilled because you really like having them ready when you start with a new sim or household? Nope, I don't want them skilled at all.
    Are there particular skill items that you really like having in a build? Cooking is a necessity, of course. An easel is also a good idea. Then anything else that works for the build; I can also add more as I see fit, if there's room for it. I'd love the baking stove as well as a regular stove; I love to make pies.
    How do your sims travel around town? Taxi ... vehicle ... bicycle/scooter ... horse ... broom? Brooms! I do not want a parking lot. Hate 'em. I always delete them in my worlds; they can cause problems with lag.
    Other:
    Although this gift exchange isn't specifically a holiday one, I would absolutely LOVE a Christmas decorated house on a 20x30 lot. (Where the short end faces the street.) I have a lot that size in my game that I'm playing, that I'd love to make my Sims' holiday home. :) There are also 30x40 (either end at the street), 30x30, and even a 25x30 (long end at the street) that could be used, if 20x30 seems too small for my buddy. Any of those would be fine. :) I don't have any empty lots bigger than that in this world, so I'd prefer nothing bigger than those, at the moment.
    It's not a medieval game, although I still don't want a house to look modern. My Sims are already pretty skilled up, and they're both maxed out wizards, so whatever you think would work with that. I would prefer NO farming or gardening stuff; they have all that at their main home. My Sims are wealthy, so price is not an object; you can choose the most expensive of everything, if that's what looks best. There are no children in this family, and I don't play family style, so kids' rooms aren't needed. I can always add them later if/when I do need them.
    I would prefer not only no CC, but no CAP. Also no photos that your Sims have taken, because those show up in Cleaner as CC. I think Sims-made paintings might be OK though; I don't think those show up in Cleaner. I'm pretty picky about that; I don't want to accidentally get any CC in my game that's going to stick to everything else.
    Also...
    I would NOT be a good fit for someone who wants an industrial/modern/urban style of build. I'm not interested in them, and I'm not comfortable making them. I doubt I would do as good of a job as someone more familiar with that style of build. I sometimes see really cool industrial or modern style of builds, but I know I would never think of doing some of the tricks that would make a build of that sort stand out, and not be simply ordinary. Otoh, I am very good with Victorian, Cape Cod, farmhouse, medieval, or more fantasy styled homes. I understand those architectural styles better.
    Are there particular skill items that you really like having in a build? (Example: I love having sims that can cook, garden, paint and write so having those skilling objects would be awe-sim!) i need an easel and computer but try to fit as many as you can
    How do your sims travel around town? Taxi ... vehicle ... bicycle/scooter ... horse ... broom? (Mention your preference and whether you want a parking spot or two, garage, bike racks, stable, broom stand. Some sims prefer to put transportation in their inventory, if applicable.)it depends on the sim just leave an empty garage
    Other: (Describe here anything that you’d really like that might or might not have been previously mentioned!) feel free to make a community lot or residential lot and most importantly have fun <3
    I've never done one of these before and have been going back and forth for over a week about whether to join. But now that I have to make a decision, I figure why not, it'll probably be fun, and I'm not ashamed of asking for help when I need it.
    I have installed the following Expansion Packs: World Adventures, Ambitions, Generations
    Note: I own all EPs and will probably start playing with another one soon but haven't decided which one(s) yet. It'll be Late Night, Supernatural, or University Life (or more than one), so if someone wanted to build me a lot that used a significant amount of content from one or two of those, that would make my decision easy.
    I have installed the following Stuff Packs: HELS and Outdoor Living; I also own Master Suite and Town Life
    I own the following Store Content: A Midcentury Modern Trailblazer, April 2012, April 2013, Best of 2010, Best of 2012, Fun for Kids of All Ages, Go All In, Island Escape, January 2012, January 2013, July 2011, June 2011, Kids 2010, Le Cirque Celebration, Loads of Laundry, Make a Wish, Man Cave, May 2012, November 2011, October 2011, Oh My Goth, Regal Living (all sets), Romanza (all sets), September 2011, Tip Top Toddler, Ultra Lounge 2010
    Note: I have several user folders for various reasons and usually don't install anywhere near all my store stuff in any given folder, so if you use store items in your gift, please let me know which sets I need to add.
    I own the following EA-made Worlds: everything, gold included, except Roaring Heights and the venue from Aurora Skies
    Some of my favorite colors are: light colors, blue, green, subtle purple/lavender, wood as accent
    I really don’t like this color: orange, brown (except for wood), anything overly bright or garish/loud/busy patterns
    I love to use items from this set: no particular set, just anything that "normal," down-to-earth sims would use or wear; expensive or stylish furniture (e.g. Indulgent Living, Muse Luxury); premium items that increase fun or a skill
    I prefer to play in this EA-made World: Dragon Valley right now; also Riverview and Sunset Valley
    I enjoy playing in this custom world: none
    I enjoy this style of build the most: I'm not super picky, but I do like wood cabins and anything with lots of windows. Most important is that houses have multiple children's bedrooms, with enough space for several beds, and room for all my sims' stuff, without being gigantic. Some outdoor space for a small playground and/or a small garden is also a must.
    Anything that goes with the general style of Dragon Valley is great, but it doesn't have to be a perfect match, just something that doesn't look completely out of place in the neighborhood.
    I really don’t want this in my game: overly modern houses, anything steampunk, stuff in the Ultra Lounge or Midcentury Modern (store sets) style; sims that are probably going to treat others badly
    I would or would not like lots in the following sizes: For a house, 20x30 (either orientation) to 40x40 is fine; for a community lot, up to 60x60. I'd prefer no 64x64 because some worlds' lots only go up to 60x60 and I'd love to keep reusing whatever is made for me in various saves.
    I want/don’t want berry sims: no thanks
    I want/don’t want occult sims: no thanks
    I want/don’t want pets in the household: not at the moment
    Do you want your sims and/or pets skilled up for you? If so, how much? no thanks, I love skilling them up myself
    Are there certain skills you want skilled because you really like having them ready when you start with a new sim or household? nope, it's more fun without that
    Are there particular skill items that you really like having in a build? I add skill items as my sims want them, which is not to say I don't want the items in a build, just that they don't need to be there. But at least space for a few skill objects, e.g. a study and a workout room or area (treadmill/weights/martial arts stuff), would be nice.
    Not a skill item, but one of the first things I do for my sims is buy them a bed with at least an 8 sleep rating (or 7 for kids), since it saves them so much time, so a cheap bed would immediately be replaced no matter how good it looked.
    How do your sims travel around town? cars, taxis, and bikes; a bike rack and a parking spot (garage or no) would help
    Other: Many of my sims have the Loves the Outdoors trait, and I often put skilling objects (easel, telescope, sculpting station, etc.) outside, on either a deck or a patio. So a nice little area for that kind of thing would be great.
    I enjoy good-looking builds in almost any style, so if you feel like being extra creative, I'm sure I'll love whatever you make. I just keep needing more houses for my sims' growing families, and houses that are pretty and interesting to look at make me happy to play in them.
    Even though I have preferences for certain styles overall, part of the fun of playing is that I have all kinds of different sims, and an unusual house that suggests a novel storyline would be fun even if it were a bit out of my comfort zone.
    I also don't send my sims around town as much as I'd like to, so if you happen to want to make a community lot instead, especially one with kids' toys and activities, I'd get a lot of use out of it.
    Here would be a good place to mention what you do NOT feel comfortable making. I've never made anything modern-looking, or a haunted house for that matter. I'm also not good with CFE.
    I technically do have all my owned packs installed, it's just that most of them are currently disabled. Since I can enable them with a few clicks, I'm comfortable using all my owned content, both packs and store stuff, when building for my buddy.
