This is more of a French world hint but the gurus are still tweeting abt the "porc du jour" object. That's French for pork of the day. Also a guru tweeted (jokingly) that live mode is pronounced "lee-veh" which sounds like a French pronunciation to me.

I think it's a definant hint to a French World coming soon.

    I want:
    1. Werewolves
    2. Fairies
    3. Romance Pack
    In that order.

Werewolves and Fairies could be done in the same pack.

Not really, since Vampires and Spellcasters got their own packs. The themes between the two are very different. At least per Pop Culture. And even getting into the folklore versions of them. Werewolf stories are about hunger and greed. Fair Folk stories are about messing with things that should be best left alone. It's more likely to see either one folded into an EP than the two together.

The only way I see them working together is in another Ecological pack with Werewolves and Faeries being different aspects of a Nature that needs protecting. Not that it would be a bad thing for me, but I can see it getting on other people's nerves.

Werewolves and Fairies each need their own separate game pack. I just saw a comment you made on another thread saying that romance should be its own pack and not included in generations. Please understand that people who play occults feel the same way about them.

Romantic casino and hotel pack, please and thank you? Eloping is so often tied to casinos, sooo... it just makes sense.

I'd prefer a non-Vegas styled casino, though, because as much as I love the hot/desert-themed locations we have so far, I'd prefer something different. Bit I am not going to argue on that.

I would like to order one Casino/Romance EP in November and one Werewolf GP in...October, I guess? WEREWOLVES FOR HALLOWEEN.

I hope we could make our own hotel/casino’s.

If we can't that would be a missed opportunity. Hopefully they won't repeat this with Hotels like they did with Apartments.

I've been wanting hotels for a long time. I was surprised that they weren't in Sulani, as that would've been the perfect time to introduce them. Hopefully they will bring them back in the next release.

Werewolves and Fairies would be great I agree each need their separate game pack but at this point I just want them so bad that even if they came in the same pack I would just be happy to finely get them but if they do mix them an
expansion pack would be best like sims 3 Supernatural

Sims Community has just posted an article about a building a honeymoon suite and as we mentioned previously, other game changers have been building hotels. So I am almost sure its romance and hotels.

As much as I hate to say so. I think the situation is vice versa. Increasing amount of hotel/romance builds is not due to "insider" information on upcoming pack. But because of the amount of speculations/wish lists about this topic. For sure top content creators pay attention to what's popular now. And since everybody's speculating about hotels/weddings they start to center their content/builds around it. And then their followers pick this as a hint and that spirals to the expectations hype. So I'm always very skeptical to these assumptions.

That said Romance pack would be a great thing to have! Though my personal #1 would still be generations.

I agree; I've felt for some time that these things seem to be self-perpetuating. And although I'd not be displeased at all if we get a romance-themed pack, my own personal #1 wish would be something very musically-themed.

@RedShoe7, I like your idea of Fairies & Werewolves being in the same pack. In the Fairies/Werewolves pack could be a big contrast world where one half of it is all bright with multicolor rainbow & the other half could be very dark with a lunar moon. Also, both halves got 6 lots each.

I keep looking at all these things and being surprised all over again that they aren't in Sims4 even still. Body hair is a given in sims3, as is cuddling, making out, relaxing in bed together, snuggling and spooning, slow dancing as separate from dancing together generally or just dancing, but beside each other and not really "together". Hoping sims4 gets those basic things that make sims feel less atomized in their interactions, before too much longer.

So I was actually kind of onto something with my presumption.

My must have features for the new Gamepack are:

    slow dance
in-law relationship bits (preferably also in-law to be relbits)
faithful and unfaithful preferences (or traits)
    table proposal (and holding hands)
    cuddling in and on bed
photo booth and new photo poses
functional bear rug and picnic blanket (from TS1)

    What are yours?

(+return of the ones forgotten from ts1-2-3)

How much would I use a romantic pack?! I start a new game with a new Sim, whom gets a job travel around the worlds to meet other Sims and build skill. Once my Sim meets another Sim who he/she gets along with, they date one or two times and if they still seem to "click" they move in together and then we're buck to skillbuilding for the new Sim. Then they probably gets children and since the Sims never get tensed due to lack of romantic attention from their partner, romantic interaction is never a top priority.

I had married sims that refused to woohoo and even sleep in the same bed as their spouses because they have neglected the romantic interactions in their relationships. Not ideal situation if you want more children.

Yes ofcourse thir romantic feelings gets lower as times goes, but one woohoo interaction, when you notice that one of them feels flirty and it's right on top. But it hardly demandes that they go on a date.

I don't have any particular wants for a Romance pack, but I can say one thing I hope it doesn't do - define things as specifically Not Romantic unless your sim has certain traits.

What I mean is, if I want to take a couple who don't have the Geek Trait on a date to GeekCon, I don't want to now be fighting with the AI for them to do romantic interactions because GeekCon isn't traditionally romantic and I prioritized other traits over Geek when creating the Sim(s). Or the Flea Market, which doesn't have any traits I can think of that would work. I want to continue to be able to have Spooky themed weddings, where the bride wears Black without having the Gloomy trait. (Perky Goths exist.)

Now, I wouldn't mind if a given individual sim's definition of Romantic or Not Romantic were tied to traits - or better still, likes and dislikes - but I don't want the game to suddenly go "Sims will actively find GeekCon to be a bad place for Romantic Actions unless the have they Geek Trait" or "Sims will react badly to the Bride wearing Black unless they have the Gloomy Trait"

I'd like to say that I don't think the team would do that, but there are still times when I get those Teaching Moments in Parenthood where nothing fits what would be the "right" answer for my Sim (or even what I think should be the "right" answer) so there is precedent for a game pack defining something more narrowly than I'd like.

All this is spot on but we really need in-laws. This is something we need. If you're going to ask for a hand in marriage, we need to see the relationship levels of mother, father and sister in-laws. We had all these relationships + more in the Sims 3.

I would also like Sims to be invited to weddings but I doubt that will happen.

I was surpised to see today that this discussion as well as the one about a Paris themed world has been featured in the last Friday Highlights post. Does anyone know if it's common to mention pack speculation threads there? I don't remember reading of any before but I must admit I haven't watched out for them before.

Anyhow, I feel the announcement of the next pack is heading nearer.

So this was a definite hint 👀 interesting

I'm actually feeling optimistic about this pack, even if it is just an GP, purely because it was hinted about for so long. I feel like back as far as Seasons I was seeing hints, and SO MANY in item descriptions in the last year. Which suggests it's been worked on for a while, and that they know it's a big subject for the Sims. DHD has lowered my expectations of a GP massively, but I also feel like that wasn't hinted at much - like no-one saw it coming - so it's not really in the same league? I'm still prepared to be disappointed of course, but I'm currently feeling hopeful for all the things you've mentioned and more! Including my Gay Paree, and a love-lock bridge.

    My personal wishlist:
    Slow dancing definitely!
In laws and asking for permission.
Conflict if marrying when the in-laws deny.
    Dad walking bride down aisle
    Veils
    LOTS of wedding dresses
Able to hold flowers while getting married
    New ways of proposing
New marriage animations because the one now is just plain with a bunch of recycled animations.
    Step children
A lot of fancy hairstyles. Would like some with jewels and flower intertwined in them.
Able to choose people for roles in the wedding, such as bride maids and such.
New casual romantic interactions in general.
    Woohoo spots

I agree. Dhd was specifically focused for builders. Which is different because there has never been a pack that had a focus on build mode. I don't think dhd is a representation of how gps will be like. And I don't think it will be focused on building like dhd again. I am on the more optimistic side but I usually always am. So yeah.

Do you remember the future cube hints that were added a while ago? When you read them now, they were clearly hinting at Cottage Living with this one:
I see a gnome wielding a frozen rabbit riding atop a llama into battle against an udder'ly impressive foe. (new gnomes, rabbits, llamas, cows)

By now the only one that remains unsolved is this one:
The most popular destination to elope is not yet known.

While I think it possible that they might have meant the ruins in the Bramblewood that come with a special sentiment if you get romantic there, I still think this is probably hinting at a Romance Pack that is already in development, because the Bramblewood ruins are really not that special and popular is also a weird term for some abandoned place in the woods (though the German term "heimlich" would actually fit pretty well). I'm still thinking of a Paris themed world for a Romance Pack and this would fit the future cube result extremely well.

Now with the new 100 baes challenge, there's one more hint towards a romance pack coming soon.

Another sign of a Romance pack being in the works is the preferences system they added lately. I'm convinced they gave us part of it in advance because they are planning to make use of it in the Romance Pack and maybe wanted to get a bit of it out in advance to see how it is received and if there are any serious flaws that have to be fixed for the Romance Pack, also that way they would not have to do all everything at once.
That would also explain why they didn't add on to the system yet since they released it (except for enabling existing wellness preferences for children, which was super easy) if they are carrying our feedback into the pack to be released.

What do you think? Might we be getting a Romance Pack as the next bigger pack (GP or EP)?

That’s awesome that there were hints all along, and that you called it, wow! 😀👍

Romance pack would be great! 🤗👍

I would accept a Wedding Pack as well, but it depends on what content is in it. I’m curious what the gameplay or system or career would be in it, since it’s a Game Pack and not like a Stuff Pack, hmm…
