@alanmichael1 , thanks
The armchair at least is named after Johnny, why I felt he should move in there
My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye..
Sea may rise, sky may fall, My love will never die..
My heart, my heart, My drowning heart, Oh all the tears I've cried
Oh I may weep forevermore, My love will never die..
I experimented yesterday with the new Industrial Loft kit. I used everything except the bed. Basically, I renovated a starter home I'd already built in Del Sol Valley. Made it into a small brownstone. Started simple. I'll be doing some rethinking later, but for now, I just wanted to see how things looked. I like the new items.

I did a few tweaks to my industrial attic reno. I also exchanged the industrial dresser for a piano since the household had a dresser downstairs. I did a bit more rearranging, but haven't tried to industrialize the downstairs yet. I'm spending way too much money! I spoil my sims, but try to keep it within reason--most of the time.
I did give them another counter in the kitchen and opened that area up a little more. Put glass railings on the stairs.
I took the microphone stand upstairs and added a globe bar, piano, and a few new clutter items.
I love going to community lots, and wanted another home for that hideous but awesome cupcake machine, so when GT first came out, I built this as a nightclub. Today, I completely renovated it with all new content - inspired by the industrial kit - and changed it to function as a cafe where you go to do all sorts of crazy things!
functional robots, cupcake machine, alien computers, books - sims will autonomously use the cupcake machine and other sims will help themselves to the goodies. If you turn on the bots they'll perform their tasks - included a cleaning and fixing bot.
upstairs you can hire a mixologist and/or a DJ for dance parties
Outside you can paint a mural, swim, dive, rock climb, make robots, and play cards
Inside there's a candle making station and juice fizzing machine
I am really like the industrial loft kit now that I have seen some photos of the content. I think a pub would be a nice way to use the items or a restaurant and for me right now the kits are an inexpensive way to add new items without breaking my bank account.
I always bulldoze lots when I first get a pack, cause I like to build something custom for my simmies. Couldn't think of anything for this old train station lot at Port Promise. Then I thought of the wicker fox deco that came with COL - and came up with this industrial theme, with a little cottage twist.
Yashica is charming and outgoing. She has got a lazy nature and loves to sleep. Yashica has got a very imaginative mind and is always thinking up stories. Which is why she wants to become an author.
Decided to add a new couple to my game and dress them in some of the new CAS kit items. This is Noel and Darion. They are going to be friends with my farmer, Daniel, and his fiancée, Emily.

@Freckles1971 I'm sorry. No it isn't. I don't pay attention to whether I've used CC or not, so I haven't uploaded anything to the Gallery yet. I also sometimes resize a few things (rugs, etc.) or use MOO to place non-activated items. Not a lot, but I do. With this lot, I later added a CC piano. But I could replace that and upload the lot if you would like to test it.
Made my first ever industrial loft with the kit, it's also the first time I've ever built or had any Sims live in a penthouse. My current challenge Sims live there. I'm very happy with how it turned out. It's on the Fountainview Penthouse lot in San Myshuno. Very personalized with all the photographs and collections/memorabilia from gameplay each month this year so far. Here's a few quickie screenshots of the build.

@Freckles1971 and @Isharell I uploaded the lot to the Gallery. Originally, I had the house placed on the large empty lot in Del Sol Valley, but I uploaded two versions of the house: one on the original 50x40 lot and another on a 30x20 lot. In game, search in the Gallery for item name Beginners Brownstone or Beginners Brownstone 2. I think you'll also need to check Custom Content. My EA ID is lanlynk.
Thank you @Isharell glad you like it! No, it's not on the Gallery. I built it using MOO, the T.O.O.L. Mod, a lot of packs and most decorations are all personal things to my challenge Sims. I didn't build it to upload. However, if you have a lot of packs too, and the MOO and T.O.O.L. use wouldn't bother you, I could take out their personal items and upload it if you want it. Let me know.

This dress is perfect for my superstar Sim.
I really like the way this trench coat looks.
My farmer, Daniel, decided to hang out there with his fiancée and some of their friends.
Always enjoy seeing Sims autonomously start working on their laptops.
