My Sim is such a Nitwit because I clicked on a specific Toddler bed and selected read to Toddler. Odd that I got to choose which Toddler, even though there is only one in the household, but no matter. When I check on mother and child upstairs, what do I find? You guessed it. She chose a different Toddler bed in the same room. I guess, when I had to restart this family from their days at Uni, I should have cleared the stuff accumulated as they had four Toddlers and an infant when the game went kablooey.
Even so, she's a Nitwit.
What things have your Sim(s) done that earned them this title?

All I can say is, it’d better have been a really good joke... 😑
And it's not like she was an angry, disgruntled wife. She was just in a flirty mood and the game's primitive emotion system overrode all common sense.
And remember this above all. Our Roman gods are watching. Make sure they are not ashamed!

I've heard of a comedian dying on stage, but...

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Why do they do that?

I have a Sim I created myself still in the Bin for a very similar egregious action. In Sims3. She's still in the Bin and I have absolutely no intention of ever letting her out. So much so, I have uninstalled Sims3. LOL

Oi! Sorry to hear that. Was Nitwit on the verge of starving to death, or over tired? Yikes. Talk about buzz-kill.

When she was brought to life, was she still pregnant?
Have no idea. Didn’t know what happened until Grim turned up. It’s all good, though. My guy was well equipped with Death Flowers.

Vampire Ai is horrible. They don’t even bother to try to get out of the sun, even when they are close to death. One of my born vampires, simply just a teen, died from sunlight when it was approaching night. He had cover close by. His sister was there to watch it, alongside many other people. Such a shame.
Just yesterday, my screen shot to a sim. I automatically thought somebody died, but no, it was one of my sims from another household completing her vampire transformation and just happened to be in the same general location as the household I’m playing. So she turns..and starts burning to a crisp, once again, the sun barely shining. She just stood there. Being burnt. Thankfully she ran off somewhere, cause I was kinda scared she was going to die right after she turned as she’s important to that families story.
Nelly decided to go for a hike in Granite Falls in the snow without her cold weather clothes on. Someone (me again) didn't notice the warning notifications and Nelly promptly froze to death.
In my defense i only just purchased the Seasons EP and am still getting used to the weather mechanisms. (I decided poor Nelly didn't deserve to die due to my carelessness and reloaded a previous save to give her another chance - and warmer clothes!).
I just bought too (haven’t played it yet), can so see me doing that haha
I look forward to your weather related Nitwit posts! Haha.
(I hope you enjoy it, I am. Haven't gotten through all the seasons yet, so still lots of Nitwit stories ahead for me too, I'm sure!)
Thank you! The first years of Seasons release, I didn’t want it at all because I felt like it was so easy for the sims to die. Obviously my heart has changed. We’ll see how correct I was.
Yes, this one takes a little patience! I'm very leery of lightning, so I'm glad my Sims are sensible about it, and I don't send them outside if I can help it. However, when you have a day-long thunderstorm and you're playing off-the-grid with an outhouse, there's a point at which it's absolutely necessary, and I can't let the llamas and cows starve in a stinky barn.
What drives me up a wall is when they decide to do things outside that they can do inside. I click on a chair, tell my Sim to sit there, and then have them read a book in their inventory, do cross stitch from the inventory, or knit. They immediately get up and go out into the thunderstorm to sit in a chair outside. I've actually had to lock the door to keep them inside.

I aged them up to Toddler and Harmony gives her father Toddlertude. I have to laugh because she refused the bubble bath. Just because. And he got upset at her defiance. (Okay, so maybe he was tired after his very busy day.) I always marvel at my Sim parents when they forget they're grown — and in charge. He stomped his foot as he ranted. She had the Brawl cloud in her thought bubble and pitched a fit, too. Oi, these two are going to have tumultuous times ahead. I love the 'built-in' drama of this game. Most of the time I don't even have to try. It just happens. LOL
ETA: This is Harmony and her Dad. Not at the point where she refused the bath, but you can almost see her temperament.

Face/palm So much for the smarter AI, right? Oi! Interesting experiment. Please, make sure you eat today.
