So the Geekcon Festival just started in San Myshuno while I played a household living close the the festival square.
Guess where the stall for festival merchandice ended?
You are right if you guessed it ended in the inventory of the household.
I am still not sure how to put it in the proper place.
The household lives in 1313 21 Chic Street, meaning the stall is about the size of half the apartment. No way I can move it from the household inventory.

If the bug still occurs to you, I would suggest to open a thread in the Answers HQ to get the problem fixed for you, since as of now, there are no current reports of the Festivals getting stuck.

No, but I doubt the objects are put at the festival square once sold.
As for "fixed years ago"... no. It was marked as fixed years ago then re-opened and still being reported on. The last post I saw said they couldn't identify the problem and had given up.
The thread you link to above has one post linking to the next thread that is still going, the last post in that thread is from July this year.

This seems to literally be a bug that cannot be fixed. My solution to the problem is to never visit the Spice District when there is a festival coming. (It seems it's only the Spice District festivals that are causing a problem).
