I have a few small QoL suggestions based off existing gameplay:
    - Babies should not be static objects, you should be able to move them, take them to see other members of the family and interact with them separately from the crib.
    - Elders should be able to live together in retirement communities (essentially created like University dorms)
    - Some more sports interactions would be amazing so that you can, for instance play 3v3 basketball or soccer and can have afterschool sports activities, stadium lots, going to see matches/games, have childen/teens' clubs for sports
    - Create a 'Limit items in Wardrobe' switch so that you can choose per household if you want full wardrobe access or the ability to purchase extra clothes with simoleons
    - More sims walking dogs around the world would be nice. I see people on bikes but no people walking dogs which makes it difficult to make pet friends. Pet play date would be nice as well (similar to toddler play date event)
    - This one is more of an observation, but toddlers feel too independent, so there should be less autonomy there, for instance I can go walk the dog and leave the kid alone in the house though no one would ever do that IRL so there should be something stopping sims from straying too far away from toddlers.
    - It would be great to have 'Teach to swim'/ 'Teach to ride a bike' when you have toddlers. We already have a small pool for toddlers so this action would just need adding, but it would be amazing if we could get smaller bikes where Sims would teach children how to ride them
    - A ghost switch would be great - when I play a realistic storyline, it's immersion breaking to have ghosts roaming around town (At least vampires and spellcasters look human..)
    - An off-the-grid water collector for roofs would be amazing, the ground ones are huge and take up loads of space in a garden
    - This is a bit of a biggie but a more well rounded health system in game would be great, I know there are (some truly amazing) mods out there that do this, but it would great to have this integrated in-game with the hospital that exists for the Doctor Career. It would be amazing to have varied illnesses, allergies, eye care, different health specialists (for instance dermatologists at Spas, maternity appointments at the hospital to find out baby gender), etc.
-- Relating to the above it would be great to not have lactose intolerance as a trait (takes up space from actual personality traits) but as something that you hear from the hospital and have to manage (similar to the reward traits that just get added when purchased)
    - A few additional lot types for already existing gameplay - bowling alley, cinema, tattoo parlour
    - In Cottage Living we got the option for 'Simple Living' but there's still no way to make flour and sugar, so it would be amazing to see something similar to the candle making station but for flour and sugar with the associated plants being available for planting
    - It would be great if, similar to older Sims games, we could buy the books written by Sims in the world & something similar for music created in game would be amazing
    - A smaller telescope would be amazing, the only one in game takes so much space!
    - Ability to have more than 1 job at a time
    - Ability to remove holidays forever (Specifically looking at you Prank day)
    - Ability to plan vacations (& ideally implement honeymoons) and not have to take it immediately

More careers please (especially work from home, and part time work from home)! Also- a new city world with apartments. Please allow us to change doors, windows of apartments. Please overhaul real estate in general: allow second homes (there's not enough for rich sims to spend money on); Hotels, mortgages, live in businesses, owning rental properties, allow us to build apartment buildings that work like units in game.

I want to see more romance.

More kiss types standing up and maybe the engagement kiss made available anytime

Cuddling, spooning, kissing and making out in bed. We have relax in bed now so why not?

Online Dating on the phone and pc. On pc you'd have the option to be flirty why chatting and can hook up that way. Across both pc and phone options include blind dates and sims that respond and ask you on a date. Married sims can do online profiles as well but mostly npc sims should be single unless their players like Don Lathario or unhappy with their marriage.

You also have the option to click on a sim and see if you get a positive response.

A new cuddle added to the sofa were they watch tv while having their arms wrapped around each other. This cuddle doesn't stop till you cancel it. Sims occasionally talk while cuddling and may peck kiss on the lips.

    The Slowdance added.

Honeymoons with an option to book a honeymoon in a new romantic world like France or Venice. Hotels need to be added.

Better weddings with first dances, heart shaped wedding arches, toasting together and more wedding dresses and veils.

More dating features perhaps a working cinema and cinema lot type.

    Wedding Lot Type.

Hey, hear me out, Sims4 should introduce surrogacy to the game where Sims can pay 1000 simoleans for the operation.
First, the sim would go to the hospital where sims give birth, BUT they're not, instead they get an operation that similar to giving birth but its reversed.
Second, the sim would start out at the first trimester and overtime a normal pregnancy arises and at the end, the baby would go to a random townie that wants to have a kid but can't.

More intuitive off the grid/historic items are needed. Such as a mechanical typewriter for writing skill and brooms for bust the dust.

Also I would love to be able to store items in cabinets. Currently wall cabinets seem a bit useless.

Could we finally get some coherent swatches and designs?

Why is it impossible for the team to match swatches between packs?

Edit: Also, why is it still items in the game with no matches at all? Not only for swatches but even items? Like dining tables that do not have matching chairs (and the opposite).

Why is still some packs without essential items? Typical example: I bought the Industrial Loft Kit yesterday and well... why is there not a single matching door in the kit? The "door" is an archway. As it is right now there is not a single Industrial Loft DOOR in the game, base game No, other pack? No. This specific Kit that's all about Industrial lofts? No, not a single door. Why??

The latest update with much more swatches only highlights that virtually no cross-pack items / vanilla items are matchable with eachother, at least not if you don't want to go pitch black or shiny white.

We REALLY need matching wood and metal swatches spanning ALL DLC and base game.

I really hope they go back in and improve the new black hair swatches. There's still a pretty massive disparity between the swatches and a very large amount are WAY too light, to the point where they're flat out grey. These hairs are all the same swatch.

Like can we please get a consistent, true black swatch. Not grey, not blue, black.

If there's one QoL update I'd love, its better filters on the dialogues where a a Sim invites another Sim somewhere. I don't know what logic is used at the moment, but it doesn't make any sense. The Sims aren't listed in alphabetical order, its not by strength of relationship, or based on if they're family or not. So basically you have to just scroll thru an illogical list of sims to find the sim you are looking for. Its a pain. I really hope some improvements will be made here at some point.

I might catch some flack for this, but I need to say it. I don't like outing myself as trans, first off. Whether or not an atmosphere is "accepting," to ME and in MY experience, being trans has been extremely painful and humiliating, and not something I'd wish on even my worst enemy. I'm 33 years old, I've lived through a lot of misery. I remember being as young as two and KNOWING I was male, and asserting this. This is all background to say this: After all this time, there was only a very brief window where "trans acceptance" lead me to feel more meaningfully safe, respected, and included. It has now passed the point of being helpful, and become a gigantic spotlight shone on things that hurt me, with or without my consent.

The Sims is a space where I could, for a while, forget all that. I made characters based on parts of myself that mean a lot to me, and this helped. Now though, the Spa pack they/thems all of them, and I have no say in this. Please, please let us choose how tooltips refer to our Sims. Irl, I hate being they/themmed. It's crushing. It takes away my security in myself as a man, does not ask me what I want or what feels good to me, and presumes that a forced neutrality is good for me. To add insult to injury, speaking up about this just gets me jeered at and called backwards, even up to people telling me I should die. In real life.

I know you want to be inclusive, but erasure is not inclusion. I will say this again: erasure is not inclusion. Forcing everyone under a gender-neutral umbrella worsens pre-existing trauma. I legitimately cannot play the Sims anymore, it hurts that bad. I am not a weak person. I have lived my life, start to finish, in Hell. Please take this issue seriously. I would not ask, I would not out myself, I would not make this an issue, if it was not badly hurting me and locking me out of any semblance of normalcy I could have.

    Please be kind about this.

I agree with this. I think the pronoun change was well-meaning but ultimately far from ideal, in a way that for some people completely undermines the intent as shown here. I understand the Sims 4 is translated into a lot of different languages - 18 in fact - which can make changes like this difficult to manage, but I feel that it wouldn't be too much to ask to simply allow us to choose - we already have options related to pregnancy and toilet usage in CAS, after all.

I decided against getting it because I had the chickens, cows, horses, greenhouse, roadside farmstead, all in Sims3 and they work perfectly and look great too. Glad I saved my money on the Sims4 version if it's that buggy.

Courageous of you to speak out. I think the game can and should give the player pronoun options for each Sim the player controls, with a slider between she and he, with they/them in between, such that a person can put it right on any of those, options and get that result fro that Sim always, or put it between, so that if it's on the he/him end but closer to the they/them, the result is that the Sims will get they/them more often than he/him, but will get both. Add setting for "all pronouns" and "no pronouns" too. The People who want no pronouns will be choosing to read that Sally left Sally's lunch and had to go back to Sally's house, and that Sally felt a bit embarrassed of Sally's self because of that, but that's the reality of not using any pronouns and its about choices.

It would also be very easy to let the user type in custom pronouns in place of any of the one on the slider, and the game would just apply those as written, to the character. Code doesn't care.

I agree that gender matters, a lot, to people who cherish it. It doesn't mean they have the right to force it on others. And others shouldn't have the right to take it away, from those who cherish it. Trans people and cis people who are not nonbinary very often take as much comfort and joy and security in their gender, and need it, as much as nonbinary need theirs, or the freedom from gender, however they see it.

I've had a nombinary friend confide that they would wish to see a world in which all are freed from the oppression of gender and I had to say, respectfully, hold up: some of us want our gender just as much as you want not to have one forced on you. It's like hats: if people hate hats, let them not have to wear them. If they love their hats, Don take them away. And no one should dismiss someone else's preference for wearing or not wearing hats. Furthermore, if someone wants to wear a fedora with a dress, or a rhinestone-encrusted silk pillbox hat with a 3-piece suit, who are they hurting? Let them live their life.

Let people be happy being gendered, who are; let people be happy being nonbinary, who are; and quit telling people what gender they have to be based on biology because contrary to what my generation was taught, indeed the two are not the same thing. Yes, a man can be of the female sex, or nonbimary, and what's in his pants is none of anyone's business except his partner, spouse, or doctor, same as cis people get to consider their junk off limits to public scrutiny. We all deserve the dignity of living in our genders and bodies, in peace, with privacy and safety. Straight cis people consider that a right that doesn't even need discussion, and should realize that ALL people deserve the same respect.

I would love to see a museum job added, based off the anthropology/archaeology skills - the two branches would be cultural (people) and archaeological (artifacts), or you could even throw in biological (primates). Then as you traveled to various places and found artifacts, bones, etc. you could curate them in your museum. Give tours, have a gift shop, throw exhibitions, etc.

At this point, what I want most is body hair options. I don't care how we get it, be it in a pack or a base game update.

Beyond that hotels and werewolves are my priorities. Behind that are amusement park and medieval packs/themes, but those take a very distant backseat to hotels and werewolves.
It's kind of sad that I have to point out that anything I say is only just my opinion and may be a different one from someone else.
