To try and get back into playing The Sims 3 more regulary following a crash a month ago, I have decided to create a new Save file.

World: Sunset Valley
Sims: Daniel and Jennifer Smith

Daniel and his wife Jennifer moves to Sunset Valley, where the couple hopes to raise a family away from the hustle and bustle of Bridgeport. Of course, with the house they purchased taking up ninety percent of their funds, Daniel and Jennifer decided to apply for a job

Jennifer travelled to Doo Peas Corporate Tower, where she applied and succeeded to work her way through the Business Career. Daniel, meanwhile, had met with the owner of the Sunset Valley Llamas football team, and soon, he joined the team on a three-year contract. After chatting to Jack Bunch for a bit, Daniel headed home to cook some Autumn Salad. Placing the Autumn Salad in the fridge, he headed into town to harvest some plants, the couple being a bit cash-strapped so every bit of money counts. After harvesting the wild plants, Jennifer headed home to have a shower and look around the garden. She knows that if the two of them save up, they can start work on the house. Soon after, Daniel returned and the pair of them had the Autumn Salad

Jennifer went to the bedroom and relaxed while Daniel had a shower. Looking at the time, Jennfer realised she has to get up early the next day before climbing into bed. Daniel joined her soon after, and fell asleep beside her.

Day 2 (Decided to do Days 2 and 3 as seperate posts)

Sunday night in a nutshell

Monday morning saw Jennifer and Daniel waking up early to have breakfast before Jennifer went to work. Daniel decided to harvest some plants around town; as the couple are short on cash, they have to be careful with their money as there's bills to pay. Of course, the bills have arrived and as Daniel harvested an apple tree nearby he realised it was nearly time for work. Daniel quickly left and went to the carpool. As he entered the carpool Jennifer had returned home, stressed out after her first day. Paying the bills and reading the newspaper wasn't enough, so Jennifer decided to go into town for a bit. As she walked past the Training Ground for the Sunset Valley Llamas, she spotted two gemstones on the ground; a Diamond and a Ruby. Picking up the gemstones, she was thinking about cutting them but realised at the moment, she can't afford to send the gems for cutting, so she kept them in her Inventory. As the sky was darkening, several residents was milling about in town, with Beau Andrews reading a book at the park and ignoring the sound of the fountain behind him and Agnes Crumplebottom walking home

Of course, being a future football star means Daniel will be getting requests for autographs, which means fans will be hanging outside the Training Ground, ignoring the "No asking players for autographs" sign, as Lisa Bunch and Dorie Hart waited for a glimpse of the football stars

Realising she needs to be home soon, Jennifer took the taxi back to the house, arriving at the same time as Daniel. While Jennifer was getting herself ready for bed, Daniel grabbed some leftover Autumn Salad. Sitting down at the counter, Daniel ate before going to the shower. After his shower he climbed into bed with Jennifer.

Day 3

Overnight, work on a bungalow had just been completed. All that is left now is the lighting before someone can move in. Of course, that meant more houses will be built soon, or in some cases, haven't been decorated yet. Some of the new houses will be mansions, ideal for a sports star, businesswoman, actor or politician to live in at some point. Tuesday morning saw Jennifer get up for breakfast, realising she has a hour to get ready for work

The carpool arrived on the scheduled time, and Jennifer set off for work. Of course, the roads were a bit quiet and soon enough, Jennifer arrived on time

Shortly after, Daniel woke up, and after having breakfast of Autumn Salad, he went to the small park with the chess tables to harvest some apples and limes before gathering up some Seeds. Back at Doo Peas Corporate Towers, Jennifer's boss Nancy Landgrabb told her that she will get paid overtime if she can help sort out the paperwork. Jennifer agreed, and soon she was back at work. Daniel set off for work, and two hours later Jennifer returned. Picking up the paper, she began to read

After reading, Jennifer went to have the last of the Autumn Salad before cooking some dinner; she realised that Daniel would want something to eat when he got home from work, so getting out a pan, chopping board, macaroni and some cheese, she prepared some Mac and Cheese.

No sooner than she had put the Mac and Cheese in the fridge and gone off to bed Daniel came through the door. He opened up the fridge and got a bowl of Mac and Cheese. After having some Mac and Cheese Daniel went to bed.

After a few weeks of not playing, I decided to resume my story

Day 4
With a new Consignment Store, Junkyard, Salon and Fire Station now in Sunset Valley, and house building still going well, potential buyers have started to look at homes to buy. Back at home, Daniel and Jennifer Smith was getting up, ready for the day ahead. Jennifer went to have the Mac and Cheese while Daniel showered. After having the leftover Mac and Cheese Jennifer set off for work. Daniel stepped out of the shower and had some Mac and Cheese before going into town. Of course, there were some Sims out and about

while the Consignment Store was about to open

and the Junkyard was beginning to fill up with scrap metal for any potential inventors or mad scientists to use

Daniel collected some seeds before popping home for lunch. After having some leftover Mac and Cheese, Daniel headed to collect some gems and metals before going to the Training Ground. Back at the Doo Peas Business Centre, Jennifer was Promoted despite being stressed out. As soon as she returned home, she spotted a Yellow Sapphire across the road, and decided to spend the evening gathering up gems. Back at the Training Centre, Daniel decided to work out in the Gym. Due to his hard work, Daniel was Promoted. Jennifer was getting hungry and tired, and headed home as Daniel returned. Picking up the newspaper, he started to read about the houses in the town being for sale, before eating some Mac and Cheese and going to bed. Jennfer had the leftover Mac and Cheese as well before she too, joined her husband. A new house was being built in Sunset Valley while Granny's Cottage finally got some new lighting

The story is on hiatus as whenever I tried to reinstall Late Night and Showtime, the Launcher doesn't recognise it as installed. So I'm going to uninstall and reinstall the game and see from there. Hopefully I should have an Update in the next few days
