Hey, @Me1620. What's your favorite expansion pack and why? Which one do you think is the buggiest one? Do you have more tips on a World Adventures gameplay without mods or custom content except Store and some lots/patterns?
@SimsSimAddict1274 - Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I have a few expansions that I rate as my top ones. BTW, I have version 1.67 and play from discs. I do use Origin for Sims Medieval and Sims 4. I turned off automatic updates so that Sims 3 does not get updated to 1.69.
As I said, I really like World Adventures. I like the adventure game genre. While WA is simplistic compared to other adventure games it still gave me lots of enjoyment to search the tombs and complete the quests. My current saved game in Sims is taking Michael Bachelor to complete the lifetime wish of being a master explorer. One tip for World Adventures is to find the Legendary Axe of Pangu as soon as possible. Besides the bug I mentioned with routing, I did encounter one where my sim unknowingly got married to an elder Sim from Shang Simla who had passed away. I had to Google the solution so she could remarry.
I like Seasons. It adds holidays and climate variation. I like the festivals too. However, I do find that the severity of the weather is extreme. Sometimes, I turn off snow and hail.
The third of my top expansions is Generations. I like to play families and Generations added to interactions for kids and teens. If I could only have the base game and 1 expansion pack, I would pick Generations.
The buggiest I think would be Island Paradise but you can download fixed worlds or do a few tweaks on your own.
As for mods, I used to be wary of mods. However, I have learned that the game works so much better with mods especially those from NRAAS

The Sims Medieval is my next game. Why do you play it on Origin? Is it because it has the latest version, you only have it there or something else? I wanted to ask, what do you think of the world Hidden Springs and its content? What does anyone think? Also I don't like any of the later versions of The Sims 3. The bugs seem a lot worse. I always run from disc and like I said, I only used Origin to copy Adventureland and share my exports from the previous play which was base game. I also used it to register the EP and therefore skip the enter serial code tab during installation from disc.
I dont know much about but i have the updated newest version of Sims 3 and so far it runs fine: Couldn't stand a old version of my game it has to be actual, and then all this mess without origin and modding na thanks im fine.
Yeah right now i still editing Oasis Landing and try to rebuild a whole new city or town centre.. With all buildings of Isla Paradiso and Bridgeport and Starlight Shores... Hard with all the different sizes of the community lots...

@SimsSimAddict1274 - Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I have a few expansions that I rate as my top ones. BTW, I have version 1.67 and play from discs. I do use Origin for Sims Medieval and Sims 4. I turned off automatic updates so that Sims 3 does not get updated to 1.69.
As I said, I really like World Adventures. I like the adventure game genre. While WA is simplistic compared to other adventure games it still gave me lots of enjoyment to search the tombs and complete the quests. My current saved game in Sims is taking Michael Bachelor to complete the lifetime wish of being a master explorer. One tip for World Adventures is to find the Legendary Axe of Pangu as soon as possible. Besides the bug I mentioned with routing, I did encounter one where my sim unknowingly got married to an elder Sim from Shang Simla who had passed away. I had to Google the solution so she could remarry.
I like Seasons. It adds holidays and climate variation. I like the festivals too. However, I do find that the severity of the weather is extreme. Sometimes, I turn off snow and hail.
The third of my top expansions is Generations. I like to play families and Generations added to interactions for kids and teens. If I could only have the base game and 1 expansion pack, I would pick Generations.
The buggiest I think would be Island Paradise but you can download fixed worlds or do a few tweaks on your own.
As for mods, I used to be wary of mods. However, I have learned that the game works so much better with mods especially those from NRAAS

still so so so much to do. And i still don't know which spawners in original Oasis Landing are missing.. So i still figured it out and so far i added the sea shell and message in a bottle spawners from Isla Paradiso....
