It's been years since I last visited TSR, I disliked it before but now it looks even cheaper... reminds me of sites like buzzfeed lol
Anyways, I don't know if any of this would work for you, but back in the day I used My Sims 3 Blog to find cc, then when I started using Tumblr I followed https://simblrccresources.tumblr.com/ and lana cc finds... but I don't know if the blog is the same or not, it used to be http://sssvitlans.tumblr.com/ but I only find https://sssvitlanz.tumblr.com/
Of course, that's without mentioning creator sites like Around the Sims 3 or sites like Mod The Sims.
Nowadays I don't download cc often, I have too much already, if I need something I directly search it up with google or I do it myself . But I do recommend Tumblr for new cc, just use tags like s3cc and ts3cc.
katsujiiccfinds on Tumblr is my go-to blog since she's really good at reblogging new stuff + uncovering old. Same with Xto3conversionsfinds though it's specifically for items converted from other games, Sims or otherwise. My style allows for conversions but I know not everyone thinks they fit well.
Not sure on how visually clear either of them are though.
God TSR is awful, I only use it for billsims. I usually go to a cc finds blog if I'm doing a whole spree but some favorite creators
Maxis match: nina converts clothes from s4, marta has alpha and maxis match furniture coversions, twinsimming also converts maxis furniture
But if you like alpha clothes: santos, sketchbookpixels, dizzie though I'm not sure how friendly that site is to your eyes, babyetears is a pretty specific style but worth a mention, pixicat for shoes, nemiga's s4cc conversions. That's..a start anyway! If you have anything specific in mind let me know, I love looking at cc and currently I have all the time in the world.
I hate tsr. Way too annoying and slow for finding stuff. I'd always recommend Tumblr most, if you look up s3cc or 4to3 on there there's a ton of good content. I've found some creators on there have converted hairstyles to have better textures and they have documents with 500+ hairstyles you can easily see and download which is the most useful thing I've found

Maybe a stupid question, but have you tried the zoom function in your browser?

♥ I have a Simblr ♥

And a personal plug: I make CC (mostly clothes) and run a niche finds blog for TS3 CAS content converted between genders.

Hello! I've tried the zoom function and it works great, but the problem is that everything is all smushed in one column.

@IfcaSims @PixelFrogsLegs, @NinaaPosts and @TwinSimming on Tumblr are some creators I'd recommend
