They need to remove the stealing NAP.

This. I would allow voting if that one particular one were removed. Until then voting shall remain off lol
The only person i want stealing from me is a burglar NPC
My speculations on hints for future content:
    -Cars Update
    -Spiral/Diagonal Stairs Update
    -Hotel Pack
-Romance Pack (possibly combined with Hotel Pack)
    -Bands Pack
    -Royalty Pack
    -Fashion Design Pack
    -Fairies Pack
    -Werewolf Pack
    -France-inspired World

I disabled voting and the stupid NAPs still occur in my game. I don't mind the random tablets laying on the ground and the clay lumps, but the stealing is driving me nuts. How am I supposed to play on a community lot if chairs and tables and electronics start disappearing like it's a very bad neighbourhood?

I wouldn't at all mind if they updated Dine Out, but I would really love it were they to add an official singing career to Get Famous. I won't let my hopes get too high, however. I will wait and see what they have decided to focus on. And pray the update doesn't destroy my current game saves. (I'm very leery of patches.)

If they're hinting (and as it's Ninja and Frost, the odds of their tweets being actual hints skyrockets) then I'm going to agree with Spa Day. Hopefully they're folding in a lot of the stuff from the Health and Wellness stuff pack idea, as I've been seeing bits of the "loosing" packs from the community vote showing up all over the place.

In terms of which packs need it... Dine out doesn't need a refresh so much as a bug overhaul - and even then, I had restaurants working just fine both as an owner and as a diner in my previous legacy save (haven't had a chance to try them out since the last patch). The pack itself is fine, it just needs to work.

Outdoor Retreat probably could use it the most. Hiking trails a la Mt Komorebi, bug spawners available in build/buy, actual wild animals instead of people in bear suits... okay, that last is probably asking too much. I don't know that I'd want Residential lots on the campground, but having the option for those who do would be good.

Vampires is more or less fine. Give me a lot challenge about Vampire's visiting, restore Vampires to their former glory, and we're perfect.

Parenthood - anything I'd want to improve with parenthood would probably be better served as part of a pack focusing on School and/or teens/kids. The only real change I'd want is to make that could be limited to Parenthood would be to make curfews more variable (so that different kids could have different curfews depending on age and/or as a reward for good grades.)

Strangerville just needs more interpack integration. Same with Jungle Adventure and JtB. Okay, Sevladorada could use residential lots. And JtB could use a "home base" lot/neighborhood rather than "the dwelling." I'd kinda be okay with just a small apartment floating in space rather than a full neighborhood.

Realm of Magic ... hoo boy. In many respects, I really like spellcasters as they are. I like Magic as a tool, and nothing inherently "good" or "evil" about it, but in how you use it. That said, I do want more options to use magic for evil (and good in the case of a few spells/potions), more consequences to magic, a lot trait so that Spellcasters don't have to hide themselves on certain lots, and I want more spells/potions that call for things in other packs. See also interpack integration above.

Dream Home Decorator is similar to Dine Out. It needs a bug overhaul more than adding any new features. And again, I didn't run in to too many bugs when I played with it myself.

Someone mentioned a Zen Master aspiration for Spa Day - I'd love that. I'd also like to see the 'energetic' lifestyle NOT triggered by daily yoga. My Sims do yoga to get them in the proper mood for their day - focused or creative. As soon as they gain the 'energetic lifestyle', it wipes out the focused and creative. I keep having to buy the lifestyle-remover potion to get rid of it. It would fit with 'relaxing' if they no longer became 'energetic' from yoga (unless that's the routine I want them to do). Probably reaching, here, however.
I just want things to match. :'(

I really hope its not Spa Day. Dine Out is in dire need of help. I can't even run restaurants now without tanking my star rating since my chef wont even come inside for several hours. Please let it be Dine Out. PLEASE.

@InuMiroLover for the meantime, you can reset the chefs so that they will enter the restaurants.

Even if they do just that it’ll be nice. Maybe they’ll add more hairs too, as I think Spa Day didn’t come with any Afro textured hair for instance.

I interpret the "clean" hints as a hint to cleaning under the hood, ie: cleaning up the code. To me, a refresh suggests things like retexturing hairs, eliminating clipping in CAS, adding a few swatches, adding lot traits and maybe an aspiration, grouping and labeling the furniture so it will show up in the appropriate DHD category, adding some recipes: things like that. I don't expect anything very big. But I will be delighted if I am wrong.

I don't have strong feelings either way, and obviously we don't know what pack is being updated, but what about those players who like the pack as it is?
Tell that to those who liked vampires breaking in. Nothing is sacred. All we can hope for is that it's playable and enjoyable.

i think theres a option to lock them out now. i wasn't crazy about that either.

When I hear refresh, I don't think of bug fixes, but rather, updated/added content along the lines of "if the pack was released today, what would it have", or better integration with later packs. That's what I'm guessing anyway.

With Dine Out, as a lot of people have been talking about, I can't see them adding much, maybe more management options? More booth configurations (though as much as I want a horseshoe booth seating, I'm guessing they are hesitant in adding configurations that would require another sim to be interrupted and leave the booth for the sim stuck in the middle to get out, unless they do the Sims 2 method of teleworking in and out the booth - though I could see two opposing single tile wide booth seats to create a more boxcar diner layout).

Outdoor retreat, I can see more stuff they could refresh, namely swimmable lakes and canoeing/kayaking (assuming that is possible in code to do it in retrospect), more camping activities, maybe (a big maybe) some woodland wildlife using Cottage living as a base. Maybe a Park Ranger career, and swipeable picanic baskets. One thing I'd like to see, though I'm 90% sure it will never happen, but if you had both Outdoor Retreat and Snowy Escape, a new snow neighbourhood is added, incorporating new slopes (even if it is the same models and routes as the existing slopes), and hiking and climbing spots too, and a new mountain. Again, that will likely never happen. Another thing could be trailers and RVs (even as static shells, that could be transported from a home lot to a rental lot with a parking space so you can take stuff with you when you travel, again, unlikely, and would require a fair bit more tint living stuff than the tiny living pack for functional bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen facilities. I've seen the idea of summer camps being suggested, which I'd like to see, however they'd have to figure out the issues of how long the camp will be, and how that interacts with seasons, school performance and ageing.

Spa Day, which is favourite to be refreshed based on hints, despite many seeing as the most complete game pack, like others, I can't see what else they could refresh. Hints seem to mention cleanliness, hygiene and relaxing, so maybe more health focused stuff? One thing I'd like to see is a career utilising the wellness skill, either standalone, or as additional branches to existing careers (maybe a nutritionist as part of the culinary career using the biology major, or health coach as part of the athletics career using psychology). Maybe more health and fitness equipment? Some suggested more body customisation options like body hair, and painted nails, but I reckon that would be more of a base game update thing, rather than a pack thing (like body hair and tattoos in TS3).

It could just be updated and additional build/buy and CAS assets, but they've hyped refreshes up a bit if that is the case.

    Hi everyone,

I made an account to share something I found today: When you google "sims refresh spa day", scroll through the results until you find the search result from the EA website. The preview will show following:

    "Buy The Sims™ 4 Spa Day - GAME PACK - EA https://www.ea.com › games › the-sims › the-sims-4 › packs
We're Refreshing your Spa Day! A refresh is when we take a Pack and expand on that core theme, adding new features that elevate that experience."

Since I am a new member I cannot post a screenshot so look for yourself. Once you click the link though, you will find nothing about this on EAs website. Looks pretty clear to me, what do you guys think?

Nice find! Seems like they updated it early & took it down. Somehow nobody noticed it. Fortunately Google has a cached version.

Oh, that would be so awesome! Teach yoga for money and get manicures and pedicures! Can't wait for the official announcement. Also, is that toddler in the last picture wearing a face mask as well?

Eek! Excited for the nails. I think every Sim in every image has their fingers &/or toes painted! Also that little description at the beginning makes it sound like they plan to do quite a few refreshers to packs.

I'm going to make a wild assumption and say that the Zen Guru career path will most likely be the yoga instructor. I've been wanting a yoga instructor career for so long, so this refresh has me super happy.

Everything about this refresh looks amazing to me, especially because Spa Day is already one of my favorite packs.

I think so too. I think Zen Guru is yoga and meditation and Self-Care Specialist is probably massages and nails. That might make this career a new active career?!
