    Rocket Ship Borked.

    Thanks to JT on his Cottage playthrough I learned the Rocket Ship can not be built thus making Nerd Brain useless. After watching I went and checked and it's broken. Just goes to show there is no testing and they don't care about the community. Now we wait for excuses and someday a patch that will no doubt break something else. I love my job as a Sims 4 Beta Tester.

      This has happened in my game as well. At least managed to build the darn thing (took ages and repeatedly instructing a sim to go to do it), but now it can't be used, click on 'explore space' & the action appears and then just disappears from any sims list.

      Given that the rocket ship only figures into one stage of the Nerd Brain aspiration, the "aspirations.complete_current_milestone" cheat would easily get you back on track, without even the need to spend 5000 simoleons on the rocket in the first place.

      Tried different lots and zip. I can buy it but can't build it. Thanks for the cheat code.

      Yeah, the plants reverting to dirt piles has never been fixed in my game, and, I have never used mods or CC in the sims 4. I have been waiting on that to be fixed for a long time……

      You might wanna grab the firework fix too because it's the same issue, the game doesn't like the fairs in Cottage Living and throws errors when checking if these items are being used on a festival.

      I'm having the same problem with the rocket ship, now almost 2 months after the OP made their comment. Why hasn't EA provided a patch yet? This makes the "not so berry" challenge almost impossible to complete for generation 3. I place the rocket ship pad on my lot, but my Sims cannot interact with it at all. I have all the packs except for Star Wars and no mods and no CC. When is EA going to fix this?

      I built a rocket ship on my home lot just fine. I do have Batuu, and a handful of odd mods. But this problem is not universal.
