I've had Vlad do so many aspirations and skills... The rules say you can have a vampire founder and 'it's up to you' what to do with 'older generations' and I don't know if that means you are meant to kill them off once the next gen begins but whatever I'm keeping Vlad around to do everything even if it's cheating.

I'm getting Last Exceptions from MCCC all the time too and my MCCC is up to date so go figure. I have no other mods installed at the moment so I don't know what can be wrong.
The best spellcaster combination though is potion of plentiful needs and the copypasto spell. I've been having Phoebe use copypasto to produce loads of copies of potions of plentiful needs. And now everyone can just stay up all the time skilling or working on aspirations non stop with no breaks to eat or sleep or use the bathroom
The cows do die of old age eventually but Spotted Cow didn't die. Galatea entered her into a competition at the fair and the fair never gave her back. In another game, I had a sim enter a cow to the fair and the same thing happened but the cow did appear back in their inventory a few days later or something. But I didn't really want Spotted Cow back because Gal had completed her aspiration so I just sold the animal shed. Idk if Spotted Cow is going to appear back in the family inventory in future though. If she does I'll sell her haha.
If you move, are you meant to move to a lot which is exactly the same size? I guess that would make sense. I'll try to keep them on the same lot but if the lag becomes a nightmare again I'll look at moving. Btw thank you so much again for making that new house! I love it! I already had 23 chapters of gen 3 played (I know it's a lot) before you posted the house so it won't be in my game for a while. Also Galatea is doing the fabulously filthy aspiration and the house needs to get filthy for that. It's already started to become dusty and I don't want to lose my progress on it getting dirty so I can't replace the house just yet as that would make everything pristine again. So it might be a while before I get to use the new house but hopefully when I do I don't get lag issues!

In my main save I made the sages immortal but I didn't think to do this in my legacy save I agree, the sages should be immortal by default.

I played some more and I'm all done with maxing all the skills now... Until they add more to the game lol. Also I have done all of the aspirations except the Academic one (which Vlad is currently doing), the jungle explorer one (which I may have Rowan do because he's maxed the Selvadoradian culture skill, and the 2 star wars ones. So I'm feeling pretty proud haha. Not sure if I'll manage to get all the careers done though.
I have made them use the potion of plentiful needs and the potion of nimble mind (which speeds up skill gain) way too much. Love spellcasters for that.
The Cottage Living Aspiration was pretty easy. It's really just a guide to the pack honestly.
Gal finished the fabulously filthy aspiration so they're living in your new house now and I really do love it, thank you again! Plus I'm not getting lag yet so hopefully it stays this way
Oh yeah the fabulously filthy and perfectly pristine aspirations come with Bust the Dust and I did get the Bust the Dust kit. Not gonna lie they're not the most interesting aspirations. Since finishing the aspirations I've switched off dust in settings.

It's odd because I used the dog hangout lot trait in a different save recently and it worked just fine but I guess not in this save. I don't think ghost mayor W was one of Rowan's pet friends actually! He didn't turn up often enough for Rowan to become buddies with him and I don't think I ever even had Rowan pet him or anything lol.

I don't think scruberoo raises the charge level by much. Practicing magic for ages or duelling over and over again was what brought her closest to overcharging.
Good question. I'm not sure how many days exactly the oversized crops take to grow. Longer than regular plants for sure but I think less than a week. I lost count but it just seemed to be taking forever.
At first I thought that this must mean they gave Agnes immunity to vampire attacks but when I had Vlad try to drink from her again on a later occasion he was successful so it must've been a fluke.
I don't actually know how many points I have... I have noted down the things I have done and my points for the different sections of the scoring but I haven't actually added them all up yet I should do that! How many points do you have now that you're almost finished?

I'm excited for your next bachelor challenge whether my girl makes it into the 7 contestants or not I already submitted her for you and I think she'd be quite a fun contestant given her traits I am curious to see how far she could get without sabotaging herself completely out of the competition.
Basically, Vlad has done a LOT of aspirations. For quite a few aspirations, he had already completed most of the necessary steps so when I gave him those aspirations a lot of steps automatically completed and I was able to do the other steps fairly easily. In the upcoming chapters, he works through quite a few aspirations.
Fingers crossed it stays ok anyway. It's silly because my game should have been able to handle the bigger house but you did an amazing job on the new house and I love it so thank you so much again!
Yeah honestly I regret buying the kits other than the dust one because the aspirations are something a bit different to do... But even so bust the dust isn't much to write home about. Also it's so unfair that the kits are $4.99 in the US and £4.99 in the UK (the exchange rate means that £4.99 is equivalent to $6.89. So, the same amount of money would buy me three kits in the UK but four kits in the US...
Yeah I've tried repairing the game but it didn't help with the lag. Downsizing the house made the lag go away but the lag shouldn't have been that bad in a house of that size anyway.

I think I had a spellcaster overcharge once in another save but they didn't die. Maybe they don't always die from overcharging but I don't wanna risk it with Phoebe.

90 points would be awesome! Congrats! I just looked at my points and I have 70 so far. By the time the 9th heir ages up I will have acquired 6 more points on the family section and if I keep memorialising each generation's founder and spouse I'll get another 6 points for that and if each of the future spouses has new traits that'll be another 6 points too so 88 points in total. Plus I think I can complete all of the aspirations which would be another 1 point, and I can get the point for having 6 sims eating round a table together, and the 1 point for cooking a meal with two perfect ingredients (I've grown the perfect ingredients now but haven't made the meal yet), and I plan to get the 1 point for having 10 kids in a generation and get the 3 bonus points for the seasons section (for the legacy family holidays) so that'd be 95 points overall.
I may also be able to max all the careers (not sure though), get all the parenthood character value traits at some point in the legacy and have a kid with a character value trait for each character value which would be a further 3 bonus points and 98 points overall but I'm less sure of if I can do those points.
It's an interaction called "tip" that you can do with the cow which is basically just throwing money at it. It's so dumb but it means that the next milk the cow produces is 'enriched' milk (and omg I just got the pun there.... I am so slow).
Sadly Oly never got married I wanted to keep him around until he reached the top of his career and by the time he did, his romantic relationship with all of his lovers (including Kale, who I had wanted him to marry) was super low (like barely there). And I was impatient and just wanted him out by that point so I didn't bother making him raise his romantic relationship with anyone before I moved him out.

I think more decoration does contribute to lag but I think Red Brick Manor had a good amount of decoration, not too much. And the game could handle it at first... I really don't know what happened there. Seems like an issue with the save honestly.

For some reason Adonis took forever to get to the top of the conservationist career. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have managed it before he died if he hadn't have had the bonus mermaid days.
I love Fetia's colours too. I think she's a mixed breed as she didn't have a specific breed in CAS.
I usually do love going to work with my sims but not in this legacy if it were like TS3 where you had open world and could control your sims at home and at work at the same time that'd be awesome though.
Some of these work outfits have to be glitches but at least they're funny I guess!
That's why I am hesitant to move them to another save. But I could use MCCC to add the relationships back if I have to move saves... My plan for keeping the ghosts would be to revive them, add them to the family or make a new household with them in, then bring them to the new save and kill them again so I could have them as ghosts in the new save. But that would all be so tedious...
When Phoebe eventually started winning duels it was against townie spellcasters! I never actually won a duel against Rhianna with Phoebe.

The funniest one was in my BOTU with the military career. My sim (male) always wore CC gowns instead of uniforms and I cried from laughing when I made him march around the neighbourhood in a gown

Picking up the cat is helpful but your sim will still put them down before you're done with the pet spamming usually. And it's also difficult to pick them up in the first place as they keep wandering off. Irritated the hell out of me.

I played some more and I'm all done with maxing all the skills now... Until they add more to the game lol. Also I have done all of the aspirations except the Academic one (which Vlad is currently doing), the jungle explorer one (which I may have Rowan do because he's maxed the Selvadoradian culture skill, and the 2 star wars ones. So I'm feeling pretty proud haha. Not sure if I'll manage to get all the careers done though.
I have made them use the potion of plentiful needs and the potion of nimble mind (which speeds up skill gain) way too much. Love spellcasters for that.
The Cottage Living Aspiration was pretty easy. It's really just a guide to the pack honestly.
Gal finished the fabulously filthy aspiration so they're living in your new house now and I really do love it, thank you again! Plus I'm not getting lag yet so hopefully it stays this way
Oh yeah the fabulously filthy and perfectly pristine aspirations come with Bust the Dust and I did get the Bust the Dust kit. Not gonna lie they're not the most interesting aspirations. Since finishing the aspirations I've switched off dust in settings.

It's odd because I used the dog hangout lot trait in a different save recently and it worked just fine but I guess not in this save. I don't think ghost mayor W was one of Rowan's pet friends actually! He didn't turn up often enough for Rowan to become buddies with him and I don't think I ever even had Rowan pet him or anything lol.

Good question. I'm not sure how many days exactly the oversized crops take to grow. Longer than regular plants for sure but I think less than a week. I lost count but it just seemed to be taking forever.
At first I thought that this must mean they gave Agnes immunity to vampire attacks but when I had Vlad try to drink from her again on a later occasion he was successful so it must've been a fluke.
I don't actually know how many points I have... I have noted down the things I have done and my points for the different sections of the scoring but I haven't actually added them all up yet I should do that! How many points do you have now that you're almost finished?

Basically, Vlad has done a LOT of aspirations. For quite a few aspirations, he had already completed most of the necessary steps so when I gave him those aspirations a lot of steps automatically completed and I was able to do the other steps fairly easily. In the upcoming chapters, he works through quite a few aspirations.
Fingers crossed it stays ok anyway. It's silly because my game should have been able to handle the bigger house
Yeah honestly I regret buying the kits other than the dust one because the aspirations are something a bit different to do... But even so bust the dust isn't much to write home about. Also it's so unfair that the kits are $4.99 in the US and £4.99 in the UK (the exchange rate means that £4.99 is equivalent to $6.89. So, the same amount of money would buy me three kits in the UK but four kits in the US...
Yeah I've tried repairing the game but it didn't help with the lag. Downsizing the house made the lag go away but the lag shouldn't have been that bad in a house of that size anyway.

I think I had a spellcaster overcharge once in another save but they didn't die. Maybe they don't always die from overcharging but I don't wanna risk it with Phoebe.

90 points would be awesome! Congrats! I just looked at my points and I have 70 so far. By the time the 9th heir ages up I will have acquired 6 more points on the family section and if I keep memorialising each generation's founder and spouse I'll get another 6 points for that and if each of the future spouses has new traits that'll be another 6 points too so 88 points in total. Plus I think I can complete all of the aspirations which would be another 1 point, and I can get the point for having 6 sims eating round a table together, and the 1 point for cooking a meal with two perfect ingredients (I've grown the perfect ingredients now but haven't made the meal yet), and I plan to get the 1 point for having 10 kids in a generation and get the 3 bonus points for the seasons section (for the legacy family holidays) so that'd be 95 points overall.
I may also be able to max all the careers (not sure though), get all the parenthood character value traits at some point in the legacy and have a kid with a character value trait for each character value which would be a further 3 bonus points and 98 points overall but I'm less sure of if I can do those points.

I think if I put a bigger house in this save it will freak again but I can always give it a go. If I end up moving to another save then I'd probably be able to use Red Brick Manor again because that used to be fine in my game before the lag got really bad.
I hate how unfair the conversion rates are!
I think more decoration does contribute to lag but I think Red Brick Manor had a good amount of decoration, not too much. And the game could handle it at first... I really don't know what happened there. Seems like an issue with the save honestly.

That's why I am hesitant to move them to another save. But I could use MCCC to add the relationships back if I have to move saves... My plan for keeping the ghosts would be to revive them, add them to the family or make a new household with them in, then bring them to the new save and kill them again so I could have them as ghosts in the new save. But that would all be so tedious...
When Phoebe eventually started winning duels it was against townie spellcasters! I never actually won a duel against Rhianna with Phoebe.

The funniest one was in my BOTU with the military career. My sim (male) always wore CC gowns instead of uniforms and I cried from laughing when I made him march around the neighbourhood in a gown

I still haven't updated my game yet but I really hope the lag will be better when I do get around to it! I'm glad that it's improved in your game. I also have a lot of just standing around doing nothing but that's different to the lag because it doesn't come with FPS dips like the lag does.
I wish the star wars aspirations didn't count, they are going to be such a pain to do.

Turns out that dogs can swim. I was shook. But Rowan got a second dog later on and he doesn't swim so I guess only some dogs do it.
