Absolutely! Especially sea creatures. There some amazing brightly coloured sea slugs out there, fascinatingly weird deep sea creatures but my favourite is the octopus.

But let's just say I only eat home cooking and so, there are no buffets. And if I were to eat out, someone else's buffet would be lots of low-quality variety so it's just as well.

Not really. I live in a popular UK tourist destination so in August, half the population of the country flocks here on holiday. The traffic is ten times worse, the air is dustier and more polluted because of the extra traffic (oh, and many British tourists could easily win the title for Most Inconsiderate Driver In The World). The beaches are swarming, and full of extra litter (did I mention the inconsiderate behaviour of tourists?). Many of the car parks whack up their parking charges throughout summer.
It's also more difficult to find activities for my sister to do in this month because more places are over-crowded and some leisure facilities reduce or cancel sessions that disabled adults can attend, in order to accommodate more holidaying families with children instead (again making the most of tourist money).
And I don't really like hot weather all that much.
Sorry, I'll stop ranting now. ๐
