I'm having trouble with my game generating multiple versions of Agatha Crumplebottom and Agnes Crumplebottom. I now have seven of each in my game according to manage households and the number has risen since my previous check (when there were six Agathas and five Agneses). Apparently people without mods only have one of each so it seems like a mod issue. The only mod I have installed now is MCCC. Has anyone else had this happen?
I haven't heard of something like this so far. Do you use the tray import function from MCCC? The first thing I would check.
What's the tray import function? Is that the function where MCCC can take sims from your library and put them in the game? I have always had that one switched off, unless it's somehow become turned on now.
Can anyone tell me if I can make my new cottage living animals immortal like I do with all my cats/dogs in the world with MCCC?
If you go to Game Options and then Pack Settings, there is a button at the bottom that says animal aging. If disabled, chickens, cows, foxes and rabbits will no longer grow older. You don't need Mc Command Center to do this.

@Bonxie I think this must be an MCCC issue because MCCC is the only mod that I have and I have found that it happens when MCCC is installed but not otherwise. When MCCC is installed, a new Agnes or Agatha is added to the game every time I buy something from the garden shop. I don't have the try import function enabled.

Are you saying there is a way with MCCC to not have to go around every sim family I put flags on in the game when the version updates because it's something I dread every time there is an update as it takes me ages to do over. If I save the mc_settings.cfg file from my older mod download and put it in the newly updated MCCC mod does that mean all my settings will stay the same as before especially sim flags?
If you don't want to keep redoing your settings in MCCC whenever you update the mod you must keep these three files from the old MCCC folder when you delete the other files. This is because they're what stores your settings.
mc_settings.cfg
mc_dresser.cfg
mc_tuner.cfg
Note: You may only have the mc_settings.cfg file as the other two depend on whether you have made changes to MC Dresser and MC Tuner or not, if you don't it just means that you didn't need them.
There are no earlier entries so I am not able to check further back but it seems to me that if I could go further back, I would find similar entries, accounting for all of my 'surplus' Agathas and Agneses.
Not sure if MCCC is just recording the issue or if it's actually responsible for the issue, but this seems to be an indication that MCCC is doing this (along with the fact that this glitch happens for me when I have MCCC installed and not otherwise).
Hi, I have run into a snag in my rotation style game play that I'm hoping MCCC can help me fix. I do know that we can set it for Sims to auto-check their gardens, but will this happen when the lot is not the active one? Please, and thank you, in advance.

MCCC is only logging the event. In general MCCC doesn't create sims on its own. Quite the opposite, it tries to supress spawning of new sims, if sims with the necessary parameters for that event already exists. We don't know the side efficts of the new game mechanisms which were released with the new pack, so there is some research and reengineering to be done to get the necessary insight.
The whole sim spawing process is pretty complex and there are some mods like NPCC from Paulson or Townie Overhaul from Bienchen which try to control the spawing of new townies.
As I already said, I asked Deaderpool to look into it, so let's wait for his verdict.
Bonxie: Great Skua, stercorarius skua. Meet me on Fair Isle.

Honestly I have no idea what will happen. As far as I know this is nothing what is supported by MCCC so far. I would make backup of my game data and check it out.

Anytime EA adds a new "unique" NPC, this can always happen until I find out that a new NPC has been added to specifically add to a bypass list. It is because of the population settings that players can set for setting specific age/gender specifications on NPC's being generated. If EA adds a new NPC that has specific age/genders and the player's settings change that, another NPC can be generated again, and again, and again, because they are getting changed from what EA is expecting. It's nothing new. It happens every time a new unique NPC is added with specific age/gender settings in the templates. No way, programmatically, for me to know when an NPC like that is added. I have to find out by someone telling me about it so I can add a bypass.
Since she was just added in Cottage Living, this is something I would not be surprised at all to hear a report about.
Bonxie: Great Skua, stercorarius skua. Meet me on Fair Isle.
@Bonxie thanks so much for this. It's very helpful to know. So long as it's not a bug which is going to crash my game like the Father Winter bug that people were comparing it to, that's alright. I've got elders set to a 0% chance for marriage and pregnancy already, but I wonder if they are included in any of my other MCCC settings. I'll have to check.
EA has just released a new hot fix patch, version 1.77.146!
Do not be alarmed, while we do not yet have the information on what this patch is fixing, we do expect that the impact should be minimal and it's very unlikely that mods will need updating again.
However, keep in mind that there is always a possibility of certain things breaking again, especially UI mods if any changes were made there by EA.
I've noticed that most MCCC options aren't available for servos e.g. you can't use MCCC to complete an aspiration milestone for them which I wanted to do because my servo's aspiration task didn't tick off due to a glitch. Are there any plans to make more of MCCC's options apply to servos too?
I didn't found a description of what those files do, but may be it works like the file name says.
Thank you for the suggestions but actually I believe I've figured out what setting in MCCC has been causing the multiple Agathas/Agnes/mayors in my game!
If you go to:
MC Command Center > MCCC settings > MC career
There are options to set the employment percentage for different life stages. I had the adult employment range set for 0,0% and the elder employment range set to 0,0% and with those settings, I've been getting multiple Agathas, Agneses and also multiple mayors. But I tried restoring those settings to default (adult employment rate 70,80% and elder employment rate 40,50%) and I'm no longer getting duplicates!
Hello! Playing medieval save, and I wonder: is there any way to make newly created townies wear only whitelisted outfits? I mean without me going and trying to blacklist everything each time I see modern clothes.
Hello!
Playing medieval save, and I wonder: is there any way to make newly created townies wear only whitelisted outfits? I mean without me going and trying to blacklist everything each time I see modern clothes.
Nope, as a baseline for the outfit cleaner to work you need a blacklist containing all the items you want to remove during cleaning.
The whitelist commands provide information for replacements only, but to trigger the repacement you need a blacklisted item on that particular sim. Clean Outfit goes through all standard outfit categories and removes any blacklisted clothing parts, using white-listed clothing parts as needed if no non-blacklist item can be found. If "Use Saved Outfits Only" is in use, cleaning will just replace the outfit with a saved outfit, if it's not already a saved outfit, and the blacklist/whitelist parts are not used. Works also for Batuu outfits if available.

This release has been tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Together, Dine Out, City Life, Vampires, Parenthood, Cats & Dogs, Jungle Adventures, Seasons, Get Famous, Strangeville, Island Living, Realm of Magic, Discover University, Eco Living, Journey to Batuu, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living and the patch released May 27, 2021 - PC: 1.77.146.1030 / Mac: 1.77.146.1230.
Versions before this most likely won't work, so don’t be surprised if that’s the case!
The mod folder will look more or less like this after MCCC 2021.2 installation/update:
As proof of installation the welcome screen of MCCC 2021.2 looks like this:
✘ Check the CC and Mods in your game and use current versions only. Be careful when using outdated or orphaned DLC. If you get an orange error message referring to a Last Exception, the most probably reason is broken 3rd party stuff.
MCCC Hot Fix v2021.2.1 for the latest S4 game patch 1.77.146 released!
MCCC version 2021.2.1 has a fix for 2021.2.0 that was causing some lock-ups to occur with players based on their settings (mostly to do with running Dresser clean-up when generating random Sims or on age-up).
You should all drop what you're doing right now and go update.
Update the rest of your mods while you're at it, too.

Hi, have a look at bienchen's townie overhaul mod:
https://deichschafblog.de/bienchen/werde-beruehmt-get-famous/
There are two packages of interest inside the rar file, which might be worth checking:
- sims4me_townieoverhaul_lessfame_crumplebottom.package
- sims4me_townieoverhaul_lessfame_nonewcrumplebottom.package
I didn't found a description of what those files do, but may be it works like the file name says.If you go to:
